Stories 17 September, 2008 Cooper is back in school and will be starting hockey soon. Hudson is so much fun, wants to do everything Cooper does. It's so cute to see him sidle up to the toilet, lift his shirt and stick his little belly out. Hopefully he'll be easy for E to potty train! 24 October, 2007 Bet you all thought we'd gone MIA. Busy busy busy around here. Cooper is in playschool 2 days a week and he loves it. Hudson is a crawling fool, all over the place. If anyone wants to know what to get him for christmas, he likes to chew on shoes, preferably crocs. We went to Sylvan Lake for a week with the Josephsons, after that the 4 of us went to Seattle for a week. We bought a new vehicle. We are planning a renovation on our house. And mommy got a job. We are busy busy people! Now for new pics. 13 June, 2007 Less than a month since the last update, getting better! So, we went to WEM with auntie Dianna, Brianna, Jake, Tasha, Logan Jenelle, Avery, Erin and Maya yesterday. We had lunch in the food court first and Logan and I gave 3 early 20's guys a taste of what parenthood is all about. Who knew we couldn't roll around the floor in the food court, as if it's dirty! We went on lots of rides, mommy took Jake on the boat because there was no way auntie Dianna was going and I didn't want to either. Logan loved it, but Tasha almost puked on mommy. I'm getting better at soccer, but still enjoy snack time most. I went to the "dentist" at the health unit on Monday. She said my teeth are very nice and was happy that mommy and daddy brush twice a day, usually. Hudson got his 4 month shots last week and he did very well. I got the ring the bell, nuff said. Tomorrow is mommy and daddies wedding anniversary! I love my little brother so much. I like to hug and kiss him all the time, but I get in trouble when he's sleeping. I always call him Huddy, thanks uncle Ryan, and can't wait until he can play cars with me. He is rolling all over the place these days and one day he even did a little soldier crawl at auntie Diannas house. Mommy says that she hopes I like him so much when he is more mobile and is getting into my stuff all the time. I'm trying to learn to share, but it's pretty hard. Hudson is very strong and likes to pull himself forward when he's sitting down. He is a sweet smiley giggley little thing. We all love him lots. 17 May, 2007 I think this is a record amount of time between posts! Mommy is sooo busy! So, in the last 7 weeks, mommy turned 30!, Hudson is now 3 months old, we have spent A LOT of time at aunty Diannas house, yesterday we went to the zoo with Jackson and Owen and their mommy, mothers day came and went, Steven is a big man now, he turned 10!!!!! Happy Birthday to Aunty Trish today. And I'm a soccer player now, my team is the killer bees. Yesterday daddy got a big fat promotion, we're so proud of him. See ya sunday 20 March, 2007 We are just getting around to telling everyone that Hudson rolled over last Tuesday, March 13th. Mommy seemed very excited and told me to clap. I am such a smart boy, I know my whole name, daddies, mommies and Hudsons whole names, I know my phone number and my address, sort of, I sometimes forget the "2" part of the address. Not bad considering that I'm just 2.5. Mommy took Hudson and I to IKEA yesterday and says she's not going anywhere just the three of us again for a long time. Apparently I'm half an inch to short for "small land" and can't go in. Mommy wasn't pleased with that or my reaction to the news. We only have one more gymnastics class left and I think aunty Dianna and Bri are going to come with, should be lots of fun! We went to a party on Saturday for St Patricks Day, I had fun, daddy had fun, Hudson slept the whole time, which means that he was up all night. Mommy didn't have so much fun, because Hudson was up all night. It's almost time for grandmas b-day, and chances are we won't post again before then so we'll just say "happy birthday grandma" today! 9 January, 2007 Happy New Year all! Yes, we're late, it's fine. We have been watching lots of hockey on tv, visiting my friends so our daddies could watch together. We just stayed home on New Years Eve. I went to bed, daddy fell asleep and mommy watched a movie. Aren't we exciting?! Daddy and mommy took me skating and tobogganing for the first time. I really like both. Although, I think tobogganing is called skiing. Today was the first day of our gymnastics class. I think it's going to be loads of fun, but I have a hard time listening and following directions. Less than six weeks until baby day! This weekend we went to Drayton Valley and I got to see all my cousins and aunties and uncles, nana, dedo and big dedo. It was a long day but I had a lot of fun. Daddies cousin Craig who lives in the Cayman Islands was there. He had some neat pics of when he, uncle Bill and big dedo went to Ukraine. 27 December, 2006 Merry (late) Christmas all! I had a great time, got lots of great stuff and mostly got to eat whatever I wanted. The rules got a bit lax over here, mommy said she didn't want to fight about it. But today we are back to the mealtime grindstore, where I fight it but end up eating what they want me to. Mommy will post pics once she uploads them. At mommies last docs appt she had lost 1.5 pounds, and has only gained a total of 8 pounds so far, Dr Mar says that's fine. Daddy says mommies bum is getting smaller, mommy says that's fine. Only 8.5 more weeks to go, can't wait! 17 December, 2006 Yesterday I went with grandma to watch Steven play hockey. It was really neat because the radio station was there announcing everything and it was very, VERY loud. Even Brianna thought so, and she's a rink rat, check her out in her hockey gear on her site! Afterwards, mommy and daddy went to daddies Christmas party and grandma stayed at out house with me. I have been sick for quite a long time now and we're going to get another x-ray tomorrow, I really liked the last one, mommy was happy that she couldn't come into the room because it meant she got 5 whole minutes to sit and read in peace. Then after that we are going to see Bob the Builder at the museum with grandma. On Tuesday we are going to gymnastics in Spruce Grove. On Wednesday we might be going to Noah, Tyson and Ryleys house to play. Then, on Friday to aunties and to the doctor. Mommy has to start going every 2 weeks now, gettin close to baby time! Finally, on Friday, we get to relax! We thought daddy might be going to Ft McMurray this week so we tried to plan lots of stuff, but now it turns out he's not. Oh well, still better than sitting around the house all day. Pretty soon it's santa time! Mommy says I'm going to like what he brings me, even though when he asked what I wanted all I said was a present. 1 December, 2006 Yesterday mommy and I went to her doctors appt. Mommy gained 4lbs this month, only half a pound the month before. Dr Mar says that's because I'm so busy. Mommy is 28 weeks pregnant today, getting closer. After we went to auntie Diannas house for a while, I had fun with her new toys, though you wouldn't know it by the pictures. Steven was home sick from school again so we watched Arthur together. I don't usually get to see Steven. Santa comes in 24 days, I can hardly wait! Mommy says we're going to go see him at the mall one day and get a picture. I'm pretty excited about that, but we'll see what happens when we get there. 29 November, 2006 Yesterday Brianna turned 2! Yay, she's so much fun to play with, I'm so happy to have a cousin so close to my age. We went to her birthday party and there were 5 two year olds there, Brianna and I didn't sleep well so it was interresting. She got a lot of nice stuff that I'm going to play with when we visit! Mommy and I are still sick, of course. Daddy caught it and is a bit sick now as well. Should make for a fun christmas. Today mommy took me to get a chest x-ray, we hope I don't have pneumonia like last winter. 7 November, 2006 Well mommy and I have been a couple of sickies over the last few days. So far daddy is ok, and we hope he stays healthy. On Saturday daddy started potty training me and I'm kicking butt, if I do say so myself. I didn't have any accidents today, and only a few yesterday. They were gross and nasty, but it was because I was sick. I'm starting to feel a lot better now though so we all hope that the end of diapers during the day is near for me. Mommy thinks that 4 months between now and when the baby comes at the end of February should, hopefully, be enough time that I don't have a set back. But if I do, she is silly and bought a whole extra box of size 5 diapers from Cost-co! because she forgot that she already had a box. Silly lady, that's a lot of extra diapers. Oh well, we'll just pass whatever we don't use to Bri-nana. 2 November, 2006 Well, aren't we lazy! Well, we have been visiting aunty Dianna and Brianna a bit, we went to see Nana and Dedo and I had A LOT of fun riding around on the Ranger, and I even played in the river! I was very, VERY cold! Uncle Jason and aunty Krystal-Rose came over one night to watch hockey. And Gerald! He's daddies friend and I really like him. Mommy and I have both been sick, and daddy is starting to get a touch of it. But he'll recover quicker than we did so don't feel too sorry for him;) Mommy is getting a nice round belly and I like to kiss and hug the button. Well, I guess that's it for now. 20 September, 2006 I am not sleeping well, and mommy is very tired. Today we went to indoor playground, it was lots of fun, but very loud. Last Wednesday was the first week and of course I got a nice little cold. 11 September, 2006 Today mommy and I went to the waterpark with Brianna,aunty and Emily, and Janelle and Avery. We had a lot of fun, but man was I ever tired when we left, and so was mommy! We went up a lot of stairs and down a lot of slides. Last night was my first night sleeping in my big boy bed! I sure do like it. But I woke up at 6:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep. That's part of why we're so tired today! 21 August, 2006 So we went to Calgary last weekend and had a lot of fun! We tried to go swimming at the hotel pool on Friday night but there were too many bigger kids there and they were very loud and it was kind of scary for me. Then on Saturday we met aunty Trisha and Sarah at the zoo. There was a lot to see. I had a lot of fun. Sarah followed me around at the park for a bit while the old folks relaxed. Mommy was drinking her water and a bird pooped in it!!!!!!! GROSS!!!!!!!!!!! After that we went to Sarahs' house for supper. I slept most of the time we were there. Woke up right when mommy was sitting down to eat, of course. Then me and the ladies went to the park for a while. Sunday we went to a farmers market and the Eau Claire market but mommy said it's not as exciting as it used to be. We found a splash pool there so in the end we did have a good time. Then today Logan and I took our mommies to the Beaumont spray park. The kid part was broken and it was a bit too windy so we decided to go to the Leduc pool instead. That was fun until I fell under the water. 18 August, 2006 Ummm, so mommy says she's sorry that she's been lazy with new pics and updating you on little ol me. She's been very tired lately, and eating a lot of food, all day. Hummmmm I wonder why that would be?! Cuz I'm a gonna be a big brother, that's why! We've probably done a lot of stuff since last month, I'll try to remember most of it. We went to Logans birthday party, happy #2 buddy! We went to see pics of the new baby, I thought it looked like a giraffe. Mommy is very sad that they wouldn't let her have a picture. They said the baby is not old enough yet. But then the lady left some pictures in the room alone with mommy. She sure had to think long and hard if she was supposed to take them. I spent the day with grandma and great grandma when mommy went to the UofA hospital for this post partum study she's going to participate in. They use an MRI to hopefully discover what causes it. Bri and Steve went to Kelowna for two weeks, and I sure missed them. We saw them for a bit yesterday and Bri gave me a big hug, she knocked me right over!!!!!!! Mommy and daddy bought me a swing set but daddy isn't done building it yet. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'd sure like to get out there and play on it. This weekend I'm taking them to the Calgary Zoo. Should be loads of fun. I think Aunty Trish and Sarah are going to come with us to show us where all the really fun stuff is. I'll make sure mommy puts up new pics soon. 29 July, 2006 Some of my friends came over for a birthday party on Wednesday and we had a lot of fun, and made a big mess. Mommy finally cleaned the floor today, shhh, don't tell anyone! We'll put up the pics later. Thanks to everyone for coming, and for the great gifts! 25 July, 2006 Well, hasn't mommy been slow with this! I turned two on Saturday and lot's of people came to see me. Mommy made a nice cake and lunch. I got a lot of nice toys, books and clothes. Tomorrow my friends are coming over for another party. It's been a great 2 years getting to know these oddballs I call mommy and daddy. 19 July, 2006 We did so much stuff last weekend that mommy hasn't had a chance to write it all out until now! We went to Lacombe with grandma and greatgrandma and greatgrandpa. Aunty Denise and uncle Brent live there and Carter and Kelsey are home for the summer from University. Saturday was greatgrandpa's and great grandmas 59th wedding anniversary, what a happy day! We went to a pancake breakfast at the Ellis Bird Farm, it was very good and I got a frog airbrush tattoo. The Greats danced a bit and everyone clapped for them when they found out it was their 59th anniversary. Mommy is a big sap! Then of course we went shopping, did ya know it's almost an olympic sport to mommy?! I had a lot of fun playing with Carters cars and trucks from when he was little. Kelsey and I also had a lot of fun together. Also, aunty had a little basket with some nuts and who would have thought that could keep me busy for an hour! On Saturday uncle Brent and I shared three bowls of ice cream and raspberries, but I didn't get sick. They sure seemed to find me entertaining, and mommy was happy to have someone else to help entertain me. Pretty soon it's going to be my birthday party, see you then! 5 July, 2006 Today mommy and I went to the park with aunty Dianna, Brianna, Steven, Janelle, Avery and her niece Teagan. The park was a lot of fun, and there was even a splash pool, which I wasn't all that interrested in, but the best part was that Janelle let me eat all her raspberries, well except for the ones that I smeared all over moms legs! Poor Steve had a tooth pulled at the dentist this morning so he wasn't his usual loud happy self. But I think he still had fun anyway. Mommy will post pics later. 4 July, 2006 Last weekend daddy mommy and I went camping! I had A LOT of fun! We slept in a tent, and cooked hotdogs over a fire, went swimming in a lake and spent a lot of time at the playground. The campground had showers and flush toilets which made mommy happy but she says the best part is that daddy did most (all?) of the cooking! Grandma and greatgrandma and greatgrandpa came to visit on Saturday night and brought us some ketchup and mustard that mommy forgot to pack. She also forgot shampoo so she used dish soap, her hair was very very soft. I got to have my first roasted marshmallows, which I call pillows. Daddy and I made a sandcastle, then I smashed it. 24 June, 2006 I really think it would be easier to tell you what we DIDN'T do today than what we did do!! I did NOT wake up a happy boy today. A big bad crow made a bunch of noise outside my window and woke me up, at 5:50am! Mommy is very tired! When daddy came to get me I said "Bird! Noise!" Me, mommy, daddy, dedo and aunty Krystal-Rose went to A&W for breakfast. Daddy went to a race track with dedo and aunty K-R, he says they had a lot of fun, but he was very dirty and mommy said he had to shower before getting into bed. Mommy, grandma and I went to the nursery to buy some plants, we got one tree and two shrubs for $15! Mommy is a good shopper. Then they drug me around to garage sales aaaalllll morning. But I did get some good stuff, the best is my very own naked mole rat. Bet you're all jealous! Then we went to Cost-co and had lunch and did some shopping. We went to WEM because mommy had to exchange some shoes she got for daddy. I fell asleep in the car on the way home so mommy and grandma had a short nap and then they packed up the car and we all went to the river to play! I woke up right when we got there. I threw about a thousand rocks in, and it was lots of fun. When we went back home they decided to go to IKEA so back into the carseat I go (mommy said I was a very good boy all day because I didn't even fight once about the carseat! Can you even believe it?! I can't, I must be losing my touch!). Then we had supper there. Bit of a trend here? And mommy spent more money there. Her and grandma went there last night and I stayed with daddy. They didn't come home until after 11pm! I had a nice long bath and went to bed like a good boy! Tomorrow we are going to a baby shower for Carter in Drayton Valley then landscaping in the afternoon. See, I told you it would be easier to tell you what we didn't do! 23 June, 06 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!! Today me and mommy went to see Dawn and Jackson for a little visit. We played and had lunch and lots of fun. And we forgot my treat bag from Jacks birthday, again! Tonight grandma is coming over for supper and to stay the night. I'm very excited!!!!! 18 June, 2006 HAPPY FATHERS DAY DADDY! And happy fathers day to Dedo and great grandpa as well. Hope everyone had a nice day. I know daddy did because he got to go to Dora's Pirate Adventure. Lucky duck! Dedo and Nana and aunty Krystal-Rose came over for supper and we had a very nice visit. On Saturday night we went to aunty Diannas house for a surprise party for uncle Ryan, he's turning 30 ya know! I had a whole lot of fun, learned two new words, awesome and dude, and showed off all my animal sounds and words to the people at the party. We didn't get home until 12:15 and I stayed awake until we got to the IGA 2 blocks from our house. On Friday we went to see Sadie and aunty Karen. We took Sadie a little chair to borrow and she sure looks cute sitting up in it. Today we went to see aunty Dianna and Brianna for a while so we could have some of uncle Ryans b-day cake. There was so much food on Saturday night that we never even took the cake out. Daddy is watching game 7 of the stanley cup finals right now, and he sounds pretty angry. He's hollering a lot and saying some words I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to hear. 13 June, 2006 This weekend we went to Wetaskiwin for great grandpas 82nd birthday party. I had a lot of fun, and Brianna and I were very nice to each other. We usually growl at each other. Today mommy and I went for groceries and to run some other errands then to see Logan for a bit in the afternoon. Nothing to exciting. On Saturday night daddy didn't sleep very well. He had a dream that he was cleaning up a mess in the garage and went and unrolled half a roll of toilet paper. He was half way back to bed when he realized what he'd done. Then he woke up at 3am because he "forgot" to set his alarm. Then his alarm went off at 5am he got up and turned on the shower. Mommy was really confused and wondering what the heck he was doing. He was sure not very happy when mommy told him it was Sunday! Mommy said she thought it was pretty funny, hehe!! I think he was pretty tired on Sunday. 9 June, 2006 Mommy and I have been very busy this week. On Monday we went shopping with Aunty Karen and Sadie to Whyte Ave, but I guess it was just window shopping because no one bought anything. Sadie was kind of sad, she was crying a lot. I kept saying "sad mommy, sad". Then on Tuesday we started swimming lessons at the TriLeisure in Spruce Grove with Logan and Tasha. I really had a lot of fun. The best part was when I got to put water on mommies head. Payback, baby!! On Wednesday we went back to Whyte Ave with Logan and Tasha because mommy wanted to buy some things she saw on Monday. Then we went to IKEA. We had lunch while we were there and that Logan sure is tricky. He shared a sandwich with me and mommy and his mommy bought the same kind. He wouldn't take a bite if his mommy held it, but would if my mommy held the sandwich! It took us 25 minutes to get from IKEA to the highway, usually takes less than 10 minutes. I learned a bad word, but I haven't said it since. Thursday we went back to the TriLeisure for our second swimming lesson. We were a bit late and mommy put both of my legs through the same leg of my swimsuit. That was NOT comfortable, at all. Mommy let me play at the indoor playground there for over an hour! I sure was tired when we left. I don't think she has anything planned for today. Probably a good thing, because with the price of gas they might have to sell me to be able to afford to go anywhere! Daddy is going to work tomorrow, I have no idea what mommy and I will do all day. Then on Sunday we are going to Wetaskiwin for greatgrandpas 82nd birthday party. 31 May, 2006 I am a miraculous child!! Today I counted from two to nine all by myself! Mommy nearly fell over, and not because she was changing a stinky diaper. I also told her I farted when she asked if I'd pooed. I'm a big tricker. On Monday we went to the waterpark with Logan and his mommy, then yesterday Jackson and his mommy came to visit. After supper Tyson and Riley came in for a bit. Today we went to Galaxyland with Brianna, Avery and another little boy named Riley. And their moms of course, we're not that crazy! Tomorrow we are going to meet greatgrandma and greatgrandpa for lunch because it's ggpas birthday. Brianna, aunty Dianna, Steven and grandma are going to come as well. I don't know what we are going to do on Friday, we might be to tired to do anything! 25 April, 2006 I did a somersault all by myself today! 24 April, 2006 Well hasn't mommy been lazy!!?!?!! So much stuff has happened that we don't even remember it all. Mommy and daddy painted our kitchen, then mommy helped grandma paint her condo. I went swimming with my girls, Brianna and Avery. I was scared of the water until it was time to get out, of course. Logan is on holiday and I miss him a bunch. We went for a walk by his house and I called out "Gogan, Goooogaaaan" a lot. I'll be very happy when he's home. And so will mommy! We went to great grandma Doels for easter. The easter bunny brought me a cool singing bunny, a ball and a (stuffed only!!) puppy with bunny ears. It's very cuddly. No chocolate this year, something to do with mommies aerobics and daddies diet I heard. I can say A LOT of words, most of them are very clear. Fries, chicken, burger, car, truck, tickle, airplane, poopy, mommy and daddy, mama means grandma, I know Dedo, and nana means both nana and Brianna, I am finally starting to be able to say Steven and am very good at saying Sadie, I can even find her in a picture and say her name, flower, egg, toys, book, shirt, pants, socks, shoes, jacket, boots, tiger, cat, puppy, bunny is more like munny, there are a lot more!!...I call myself Pawker (it's pretty close, and damn cute!) but there are some that I have problems with. Sandwich is more like "fuschwisch", and the funniest one is shovel. Mommies not sure exactly how I say it but it sounds a lot like "fwogel". Also, hippos are pippos, and toucans sound a lot like cocan. I'm not interrested in the potty yet, but I do tell mommy when I need a new diaper, so it's a start. I would love to play outside all day if I could. I stand at the patio door and yell "side, siiiiide". I really like to wear my glasses and my hat, it seems to make mommy happy. 28 March, 2006 Happy late birthdays to two of my grandmas! We have done a lot of stuff since the last time mommy wrote. Aunty Dianna and Uncle Ryan went on a holiday and grandma stayed with the kids. Mommy and I went to visit a couple times even though Brianna was sick. Poor little girl had pink eye, a sinus infection AND was getting 3 or 4 new teeth!!!!!!!!!!!! Mommy says that aunty sure picked the right time to go away. Plus there was lots of snow that uncle Ryan didn't have to shovel. Mommy and I went to playground a few times and visited with Logan and Tasha. Tomorrow we are going to the playground in the Leduc because ours is closed today. 9 March, 2006 Yesterday mommy and I went to Leduc to play with Jackson, Andrew and Taylor at the new Indoor playground they have. It was lots of fun! Grandma and Steven came over for supper and daddy gave Steven $2 to eat a shrimp. Steven doesn't like Shrimp! Today Logan and his mommy came over for a little visit. We played and had some snacks. We were a lot quieter than last time he was here! 6 March, 2006 We had a very busy weekend! On Saturday we went to a garage sale in Leduc and mommy bought me a car! For $10! Then we went to Wetaskiwin to see grandma and great grandma and great grandpa. We stayed for supper and left in time for me to go to bed. Then on Sunday we went to look at some dream homes. I slept most of the time. Daddies back was sore so mommy had to carry me. She says I am really really really really really............ heavy! We also went to look at some show homes. Mostly just for fun, and for dreaming. Daddy likes the big ones. Mommy says that's because he doesn't have to clean them! Today we went to playground. Aunty Dianna and Brianna came! So did Jackson and his mommy, Dawn, and another Brianna and her mommy Kelly. I sure had lots of friends there today! Logan was there to, he's always fun. I think he has a crush on Brianna!! Mommy and Tasha went out for a bit on Friday night. Mommy had a lot of fun but she says she really missed me. 23 February, 2006 Today some of my friends came over to play! Logan, Blake, Jackson and Brianna, not my cousin Brianna though. Logan and I had a lot of fun running around the kitchen before everyone else got here. We made A LOT! of noise. Blakes mom said she could hear us outside! We read some stories, ate some snacks (we have A LOT of cheese right now!) and some of us pooped. The mommies talked and talked and talked... We were all very tired when it was time to go. All in all a great day! Mommy will put up some pics of Logan and I running around like a couple of crazies later on. 17 February, 2006 Today mommy and I went shopping with aunty Dianna, Brianna, Jenelle and Avery. I was reeeally out numbered! Then mommy and I went to Costco. Wasn't really all that exciting, but I got some very yummy snacks. 14 February, 2006 Happy Valentines Day everyone! Especially to aunty Karen and uncle Arup who finally had their baby this morning! I'm sure aunty was very happy the baby finally came. They had a baby girl who they have named Sadie. I can't wait to meet her! 5 February, 2006 We got back from our holiday on Thursday night and we sure had a lot of fun! We went to Puerto Vallarta for a week and then to San Francisco for 3 days. I was a very good boy on the airplane, and really, all through the trip. We met up with mommies friend Celest who lives in PVR and went on a whale watching tour. Daddy got burnt. He should have listened to mommy when she told him to bring a hat from home. We went swimming in the ocean, but it was pretty scary for a bit, it's very loud! We swam in the hotel pools and I played on the playground a bit. Aunty Kelly and uncle Rod were there for 2 days before we left so we went out to dinner together one night. I sure was suprised to see someone I know there! In SFO we went to Alcatraz. I slept quite a bit, but mommy and daddy really enjoyed it. We went on a cable car, to Lombard Street, the steepest road in the world, and to a protest!! I was sleeping. I miss everything because of my naps. I was very happy to be home and get back to normal life again. Mommy will post pics in a day or two. 11 February, 2006 Today daddy had to work since he missed Thursday to stay home with mommy and I. Then after work he went to a Lacross game with a friend from work. So instead of staying home alone all day mommy and I went to Wetaskiwin. We went out for lunch with grandma and great grandma and great grandpa. I was a very good boy. Oh, and I flirted with some "older women". Then the women and I went shopping and great grandpa went home. Great grandma is boycotting Wal-Mart so we went everywhere else instead. Uncle Graham came over and he sure is a fun toy! We played together for a long time. We jumped off the fireplace mantle thing, which I am not usually allowed to play on. Then I played with the big exercise ball. Then mommy made me the neatest house out of a tv box. It is loads of fun. I hope it's still there next time I go! Later aunty Kelly, uncle Rod and Lisa came over and we had some cookies. I can say cookie! I'm such a little scavenger, I kept sharing everyones cookies with them. Sharing is fun! Tomorrow mommy is going out with her friend Erin so me and daddy are going to hang out. 3 January, 2006 Today mommy and I went swimming at Grandmas house with grandma, aunty Dianna, Brianna and Steven. That Steven sure likes to swim! I was a little scared at first, but I still had fun. 2 January, 2006 First of all, Happy New Year everyone! Mommy and daddy took me to Galaxyland on the 31st and I had a lot of fun. But who would have guessed that I would be scared of the carousel?!?! Daddy had to hold me through most of the ride. Mommy and I went on a car ride that was pretty fun, then we went on the hot air balloons. That ride is soooo slow and never ending. I had fun though. Daddy and I were going to go on the train, but the line was really, really, really, really looong! Today we went to Let's Play! It's sort of like a huge McDonalds playground. At first I was afraid of the ball pit, it's really weird. But once I got the hang of it I had a lot of fun. We went to the big part where there are lots of places to climb, with daddys help of course, and slides to go down. There was also another bigger ball pit. I was very sad when it was time to leave. Then we went to Montana's for supper and I was so good. The 'rents were very happy about that. We saw aunty Karen and uncle Arup there! What a great surprise that was! They're going to have a baby in about a month, we're all pretty excited about that. Mommy will put up the pictures once she figures out why she can't delete the current ones. I think they are changing some stuff so it might be a few days. 29 December, 2005 Mommy says she's sorry! She's been lazy, lately. Plus daddy bought a new computer and some stuff is harder do to now. Especially getting him off of it so mommy can update you all one me! Anyway, a month has passed, and there's lots of new stuff. Sometime in November I had bronchial pneumonia, but I'm all better now. Two little boys in our cul-de-sac had viral pneumonia and were in the hospital. I was very lucky! Mommy and I did lot's of Christmas shopping. I stayed with Grandma when the 'rents went to daddies staff Christmas party. And one night I stayed with aunty Krystal-Rose and Jason when they wen't to a party at aunty Diannas house. Earlier that night all three of us went to a party at Delaine and Emily's house. It's fun to play with different toys. Christmas was great! Mommy's glad that I didn't know to rip the paper off the gifts until Christmas eve, or she would have had to keep me away from the tree and the gifts. I wore the same outfit I wore last year. Last year it was huge, this year it was juuuust right. Probably won't fit in another week though. Santa came to the Christmas party we had at indoor playground. I did not like that, at all! I'm sure mommy will post the pics so you can all laugh at me. We went to great grandmas in Wetaskiwin for Christmas day. I was pretty good, but man, does it ever get hot in that house! I'm sure there must be more, but mommy can't remember right now. 28 November, 2005 I forgot to tell you all that I can say "duck" and "horse"! I sure do like my baby einstein videos! 28 November, 2005 Happy Birthday Brianna! Last Sunday, Nov 20th, Auntie Krystal-Rose and Jason came over for a visit and supper, and we rented a movie. We had steak and shrimp for supper, it was very yummy! We didn't do much last week as I haven't been feeling my normal cheery self. I had to get my second flu shot and am also getting 4 new teeth. I have 10 already. Mommy and I went to see aunty Dianna and she said I looked sad and pale. She made mommy take me to the doctor. I kept waking up early in the morning and had a fever. I hadn't been eating well either. A yogurt a day for 3 days is not enough for a growing boy. We couldn't get into the doctor so we went to the Hospital. They put me in this horrible contraption to take an x-ray and wow, I was not happy. At all. My legs were hanging out the bottom and my arms were pinned above my head. Pure torture. Plus they made mommy leave so that was even worse. The doctor said I have Bronchial Pneumonia, but just a touch on each lung. I have been on the medicine now for 4 days and am much better. On Saturday we went to Briannas first b-day party and had loads of fun. She didn't even cry when we all sang happy b-day to her, mommy was surprised. Then on Sunday we went to the Kids Christmas party for daddies work. It was at Reds and we got to go bowling! I came in second. Mommy doesn't want to talk about it;) Daddy told her it was her turn and she got a strike! She was pretty excited, but then daddy realized that it was his turn and he got the points for mommy hard work, or luck, since she says she has no bowling skillz. Then, we went to Logans house for a Grey Cup party. There was a lot of yummy food and noise. But I had fun. Grandma came over to watch me on Friday night so that mommy and daddy could paint the front room. It's blue and looks really nice! You must all be tired of reading now, I guess it's a good thing I've got nothing else to say! Will post bowling pics later!! 15 November, 2005 Last Friday mommy and I went to Wetaskiwin. On Saturday mommy left me there and went to Edmonton to shop, by herself. She was pretty excited by that. And laughed at all the poor souls who had to push their stroller through WEM on a saturday before Christmas, with the CFR in town. She said it was an absolute zoo! Then, she got to have a whole night to herself as I stayed in Wetaskiwin with grandma. We had a birthday party for great grandma doel on Sunday and I was a hit! I'm very entertaining, don't ya know. Sunday afternoon mommy and daddy went to see the musical "Chicago". We have to be sure to say the musical, as last time mommy told her aunties about it, everyone thought they were going to the city Chicago! They had a great time. Then they went out for dinner. Daddy started his new job yesterday. We're hoping that this one will be better and daddy will get to stay at home, and not have to live out of a suitcase all the time. However, mommy says when daddy's home its like having 2 kids! 10 November, 2005 Oh yeah, I also have 2 more teeth now! Top molars. But I've never had a fever from teeth before so mommy doesn't think it's from that. Mom's glad we went to see the Hecks today as Steven had lots of fevers when he was little so aunty Dianna helped mommy stay calm with my fever. 10 Novmber, 2005 Wow, mommy has been lazy with this lately. Sorry 'bout that! So, I guess we've done a lot since halloween. Shopping with Aunty Dianna and Brianna, went to see Jackson and the crew, Logan and Tasha came over. We went to a community garage sale thing with aunty Dianna, Brianna and grandma and mom bought me this cool workshop thing. I love it! I could play with that thing all day. Daddy thinks it's too big, and he hasn't even seen it yet. Mommy says she's just happy that it keep me from trying to climb everything for 10 minutes. This weekend is Great Grandma Doels b-day and I am going to go with grandma Doel because mommy and daddy are going to see "Chicago", the musical, not the city, as some people have thought;) Today we were supposed to go to Galaxy land with Tasha and Logan but I got sick. I had a bad fever and was just a cuddle bug all day. We did go to see Steven and Brianna though. That little Brianna is getting around to good. I used to be able to get away from her, but now she follows me! Look out world, here we come!!
26 October, 2005 Today we had an early Halloween with the indoor playground we go to. There were a lot of kids, and many many princesses! I was a giraffe, I love my costume! Mommy will post pics soon. I was so good, and not at all scared of the other kids. Then this afternoon we went to Leduc and had another party with the kids from the moms group. There were 6 boys and one girl! Mommy was so hyper tonight. I let her chase me around, hide on me a scare me, and tickle me all night. She loves it when I giggle. I went to bed half an hour earlier than usual tonight. YAY!! 20 October, 2005 Last week mommy and I went to the movie with Tasha and Logan. I wouldn't sit still. Mommy showed me the dragon at the threatre and I think I could probably have done without seeing that, TWICE!! When we left mommy noticed that some crazy woman, we think, ran into our car! When mom moved the car back the truck lurched forward like 2". There is a small dent and a little scratch. Daddy's head didn't shoot off when he saw it, so I guess it's not to bad. Mommy is losing her mind, and says it all my fault! I think I was a mountain climber in a former life. Let's see, I can crawl up onto the counter, onto the table, the computer table, the back of the couch, and I've even tried to climb up my highchair. So if anyone needs ideas of what to get me for Christmas, a trip to Everst would be just about perfect! My friends Jackson and Logan don't climb, mommy wishes I wasn't so adventurous. I can say "Owl" now, though is sort of sounds more like "ow", and I can say "I". I help mommy read my stories, 100000 times a day. Dada means everything from daddy, to Cooper to Jack's dad Glenn, even Brianna. I love to hold mommys hand beside my face and rub it on my cheek. Mommy loves it too! Daddy went back to work again today. See you soon! 10 October, 2005 Today we went to great grandmas house for Thanksgiving. I was a very busy boy. There is so much to get into there. Sandra and Sarah took me and Phoebe out to run around for a while. Mommy said she could hear Sandra calling after me from the deck! I was so excited to be running around! Mommy took some weird pictures of me. Daddy isn't going to like them! 2 October, 2005 This morning mommy and I went "shopping" with Aunty Dianna, Brianna and grandma at this big garage sale thing that has all kids stuff. It was ok, mommy got me a new pair of overalls, just like the ones she bought me last week, but the new ones are one size bigger. You will see that it's a good thing I have 2 pair! Then we went out for lunch. We went home and picked up daddy and the 3 of us went to the home show. I got to have my picture taken with Mike Holmes from HGTV's Holmes on Homes! He said he liked my overalls, so he signed them! My very first autograph! That's why it's a good thing I have 2 pairs. 28 September, 2005 Today was another big day for me. I got my first haircut. It was fun, and I didn't even cry. Of course mommy had to take some pictures, she takes that thing everywhere. After that me, mommy and Sandra went to get stuff for aunty Peggy for her b-day. Mommy insisted on putting this huge rediculous hat on me. And there is a strange random arm holding it there because I was trying to rip it off ;) 25 September, 2005 Mommy was reading the Devon news paper last night and it said that last Saturday BRAD PITT was here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was at the MAC's/subway with Maddox and bought subs and candy. 19 September, 2005 We have been busy since the last time mommy wrote. Mommy and daddy went to Julie Mantais' wedding with aunty Dianna and uncle Ryan. Me and Brianna stayed with grandma at great grandpas house. Then mommy and daddy went to moms high school reunion in Camrose and I stayed with Kendra. Mommy took some pics of me in the trees, and now I am a bit sick. Daddy is gone, again, and mommy and I are sad. 4 September, 2005 Today mommy and I went to the Valley Zoo in Edmonton with Aunty Erin, Morgan and Craig. We had so much fun! Morgan and Craig got to ride some horses and we all went on the carousel. 3 September, 2005 Today me and mommy went shopping, again, with Aunty Dianna, Brianna and Grandma Doel. I was a very good and cooperative boy. Mommy is putting up a video of Brianna because it is just to cute not to share. Oh yeah, I forgot. I went to the doctor on Thursday and she said I am a very happy and healthy boy. And that I have a big melon. 1 September, 2005 Today our province is 100 years old! Happy Birthday Alberta! Yesterday the 3 of us went to Wetaskiwin to see greatgrandpa and grandma Doel. Mommy had to return some stuff so we all went, EVEN DADDY!, for supper. We had a nice visit, but then I slept all the way home because I was planning a party for mommy and I. Today me and mommy had to go to the doctor. We're both healthy. Dr Mar is sooo busy! Our appt was at 3:10 and we didn't get out until about 4:45!! Thankfully daddy could come or I think mommy would have lost her mind with me cooped up in that little room! 27 August, 2005 Today is Craigs 3rd birthday. Mommy and I went to his party and it was a lot of fun. But it was very hot outside so I was kind of fussy. Happy Birthday Craig! 25 August, 2005 Well, Mommy was sure happy to see that there was a reason why I was such a little miser today. I was a fuss pot who refused to sleep or eat. I have a new tooth! A molar on the bottom left side! YAY ME!!!!!!!!!!! 25 August, 2005 Well I have had a busy week! Mommy and I went to Wetaskiwin last Friday for two days then to Drayton Valley to Elizabeths christening, then to Edson for a few days to see daddy. It's sooo nice to be home and back to my own bed. But mommy says that I've forgotten all the rules. I'm not supposed to play with the garbage, or the tv buttons or the lamp. But I want to play with all of them. And I think it's a great game when mommy pulls me away. 16 August/05 We have done a lot in the last 10 days. We went shopping with Aunty Dianna and Brianna, and another day we went with Grandma Doel. We went out for supper with Aunty Dianna, Uncle Ryan, Brianna and Grandma. We went out for supper with grandma. But the most fun was the family reunion last weekend. It was for daddies Baba's family, so there were lots of people there that I've never seen before. I had a lot of fun. It was very cold at night so I slept in an undershirt, 2 pair of jams, my touque and my fleece lined rain suit. The first night mommy put socks under my jams but they just fell off and bunched up. It was NOT comfortable. I got to ride a big chocolate Lab. No pics of that though. It rained lots on Saturday so mommy was happy that Nana and Dedo let us hang out in their trailer. She said she would have lost her mind if we had been stuck in the tent all day. Daddy is leaving to go to Edson for a few days this week. He's got to make more money to support mommys shopping habit ;) Oh yeah, I forget to say that I bit through a pop can on Saturday, and had an accident that involved falling out of the trailer. But I'm a trooper! I only cried a bit. I was more scared than anything. 6 August/05 Today mommy and I went to Wetaskiwin with Grandma to see greatgrandpa and greatgrandma Doel. We went out for lunch AND dinner! I was such a good boy and flirted with all the girls at dinner. 4 August/05 Today me and mommy went to Aunty Diannas for a while. I was a good boy but there is this one cabinet that just calls out to me every time I'm there. I'm not allowed to play in it, but I just cannot stop myself! Brianna has so many cool toys, it's nice to have different toys sometimes. Steven had a friend over and then he went to Tommys house for a while. Me, Brianna and the moms went to the grocery store. And then we went to McDonalds for ice cream, but shhhhh! Don't tell Steven ;) Last night I fell on my chin and now I have a red mark on it. Then today I did a header off Stevens slide and have some funny marks on my cheek. Then when we came home I fell again and have a red mark on the other cheek. I'm a wreck! On the plus side, mommy is getting better with dealing with her crazy fear everytime I get hurt! 30 July/05 Today was my b-day party. There were lots of people here and I was a very good boy. We had lunch, went for a dip in my pool, had a very nice cake that my mommy made me, then I, well mommy, opened my presents. I was spoiled rotten! Then everyone left I had a nap, daddy had a nap and went to work. Mommy started cleaning a bit but then she came here instead. She will post pics later. Thank you everyone for coming to my party! 25 July/05 On Saturday we went to see Nana and Dedo in Drayton. They had a birthday gift for me, it's sooooo cool! Check it out in the pics. I can rock on it, mommy or daddy can push me around on it or I can push it. When I'm older I can ride it like a tricycle. We got to see where they are building their new house, it's pretty nice out there! We tried to go to the beach today but the water was gross and there was no sand so mommy said we were leaving. Then I had to get 2 needles. I was a good boy and hardly cried at all. Daddy had to get blood taken. Tomorrow daddy is going to Edson for 4 days. 22 July/05 Tonight grandma Doel came over for supper for my b-day. Mommy made some brownies, my real cake will be next Saturday at my party. There are some pretty cool pics of me and my messy self! 22 July/05 IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! I'M ONE WHOLE YEAR OLD!!! We are just going to celebrate with the 3 of us and my party is next weekend. It has been a very interresting and busy year. I learned to do a lot of really neat things and make a lot of faces and sounds. I think the next year will be even more exciting, and busy. 11 July/05 Today me and mommy went to the street performers festival with grandma, anuty Dianna, Steven and Brianna. There were a lot of really neat things to see there. Grandma bought some mini donuts for us. They were very good! 8 July/05 Today mommy and I went to the beach. She's a big dork and forgot the camera! I didn't much enjoy the water, and mommy wouldn't let me eat the sand. That's all 7 July/05 Daddy is still gone. He was supposed to only be gone for 2 weeks but that changed to a month. Mommy and I are pretty sad about that. This last week grandma was on holidays so mommy and I went to Wetaskiwin with her to the great grandma and great grandpa Doel. Aunty Trish, uncle Barry and Sarah came for a few days as well. Grandma, aunty Trish, Sarah, Mommy and I went to the beach one day. Mommy put my toes in but it was too cold for me. It's wasn't the nicest day, we really went to shop anyway. Another day we went to Camrose to see aunty Peggy, uncle Keith and Kim. I think we went to Safeway at least 4 times, maybe even 5. We were only there for 6 days. I was a very entertaining little man and grandma said it was very quiet after we left. I get very good at walking while we were there. Mommy has some video that she might post one day if she can figure out how to do it. There are a lot of new pics of me, but there is something wrong with the computer so you'll all have to wait until daddy comes home and can fix it. Please come home as soon as you can daddy, we miss you a lot! 29 June/05 Yesterday mommy and I went to the Works with Grandma and then out for supper. There is a very nice painting that mommy wants to buy at the Works. Too bad daddy isn't here. Or is it?? Then today we went to see Dedo and Nana. I stayed with Nana while mommy went to get the mail and run a few errands. We played on the trampoline. It was great fun! Hi daddy, I sure miss you! 23 June/05 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!!!!!!! I miss you a bunch. Today aunty Dianna, steven and Brianna came to get me and mommy and the 5 of us went to see greatgrandpa and greatgrandma Doel in Wetaskiwin. We had a nice visit. Lisa and Kim came over for a bit as well. 19 June/05 BIG NEWS TODAY!! I walked last night. Three whole steps. I saved it for daddy to see because mommy gets to see everything else first. I almost messed up though. Mommy came around the corner right after I did it. She's sad to have just missed it. Today Nana told mommy that auntie Karen and uncle Arup are going to have a baby! I'm hoping she'll have a boy since there have been FOUR girls born since me. I need a boy to play with. Today was daddies first Fathers Day. I picked out a nice card and picture frame for him. I had to help mommy sign the card though, her printing is pretty bad! Wow lots of thigs happened today! Daddy left for Diavik for 2 weeks. I'll sure miss him whole big bunches. Mommy said she will to, but if he makes lots of money we can go shopping more. She thinks I enjoy that, I just go along because I'm not allowed to stay home alone. Happy Fathers Day Daddy! 18 June/05 Tonight mommy and daddy went out for supper for their anniversary. Grandma Doel came and stayed with me and we had lots of fun. I was a very good boy. We went for a walk and grandma made a cake for greatgrandpa for fathers day. I like chocolate cake. And I had a bath too. Busy night! 14 June/05 Today is mommy and daddies anniversary! Last night we went to the river for a while, I had lots of fun, but I was very tired and not my usual cheery self. I did find some very tasty rocks to eat though! 8 June/05 Today mommy and I went swimming with Aunty Dianna and Brianna, and some people from aunties moms group. We had a lot of fun, the water was soooo warm, just like being in a bath! I don't usually like to lay on my back in the water, but today I decided to give it a try and it was nice and relaxing. That is until I tilted my head back to see what mommy was doing. Unfortunately, she was looking at someone else and didn't know that my whole head was under the water. She sure looked scared when she turned around and saw my face submerger! Luckily one of the ladies from the moms group had seem me put myhead under and said mommy looked right after I did it. Mommy was very scared, and would like me to tell you that her heart is racing just telling you about it.
5 June/05 Today we went to Wetaskiwin for Greatgrandpas birthday. We had a nice visit and when we came home mommy and I went for a bike ride. Daddy took some pictures of us and I think we're pretty cute. I've actually deided that wearing a helmet isn't so bad. Plus, mommy wears hers and I don't want her to be the only funny lookin' one. 4 June/05 Karen and Arup invited us to come over to their new house for a BBQ last night. We had a lot of fun, but then I slept the whole way home and didn't go to bed until 2am. Mommy is very tired today. 1 June/05 Today is my greatgrandpas birthday, he's 81 now. Me and mommy went swimming with Dawn and Jackson, Aunty Dianna and Brianna and a bunch of Dawns friends today. Mommy dunked me, I did not enjoy that. Yesterday we went swimming with grandma, I am getting very pruny. 28 May/05 So today was the day of the big baby crawl. I didn't do so good. There were five of us in my heat and there was only one who actually moved. That was not me. As you can see if you look at the pictures, I was happy just sitting where I was. It was hot, it was naptime and they had us pointed at the sun. Too bad I'll be to old next summer. Grandma and great grandma and grandpa came to watch me. Then me and the ladies went and picked up some flowers for the front of the house. Jared and Mitchel came and put in a gas line for daddies BBQ. We're very excited to use it when he comes home. Hi daddy! 27 May/05 Today mommy took me for a ride in my new bike trailer. It was a lot of fun, but as you can see by the pictures, I fell asleep. In case you can't tell, sleeping in a bike trailer is not a good idea and should really be avoided at all costs. Later on I was crawling along and once again forgot that I need my hands to do this. I now have a big scratch on my chin. There were fireworks tonight. Mommy and I watched them from the deck. There was a big silly tree blocking part of it, but we could see most of it. The noise didn't even bother me! Hi daddy! We miss you. 26 May/05 Today daddy left for Thunder Bay for a week. Mommy and I really miss him a lot. Today mommy and I went to Edmonton to buy us some bike helmets to wear when we go for a bike ride. Mommy and daddy bought a bike trailer for me! I don't know if I'll like the helmet, but mommy says I have to wear it. And her mommy says she has to wear one to! On Saturday I am going to be in a crawling competition so I'll be sure to post a pic for everyone to see. Wish me luck! 21 May/05 Today mommy and I went to Wetaskiwin to see great grandma and great grandpa Doel. Grandma Doel was also there. Then we went to Camrose and mommy bought a really sweet patio furniture set. for a great price. Uncle Keith was so nice to offer to bring it to Devon for us! So tonight him and Aunty Peggy brought it and came for a visit. Oh, and all the chairs have these big knobby things on them. I will find a way to get those in my mouth. I MUST FIND A WAY!!!!!!! 15 May/05 Forgot about this one! When we were at Stevens house I was playing with the TV cabinet, just like I always do, when I realized there was a taller, glass door. Inside this door was a shiny red button just calling out for me. Cooper! it was saying, Cooper come play with me. So, when I pushed the button all of a sudden I could hear this mans voice booming from out of nowhere. I quickly shut the glass door and tried to look innocent. Mommy, and anuty and uncle all laughed because they knew what I'd done. It was pretty neat, so I tried again! 15 May/05 Today we went to order some furniture. I was happily playing with something in the store when I got hurt. When I was crying mommy spotted 2 new teeth! The top side left and right ones. Mommy is pretty excited about that. Then we went to visit Aunty Dianna, Steven and Brianna. Uncle Ryan home when we were still there. Brianna is getting very big. She's a sweet girl. I'll get mommy to post a pic of me and my 6 teeth when you can see them better. 14 May/05 Grandma Doel, Greatgrandpa and grandma Doel, Aunty Trish and Sarah came to visit and see our new house today. We went for a walk and to DQ, I slept the whole time. I woke up when mommy was eating her ice cream. I can tell when there is ice cream around! Daddy stayed home and did some work. Then when I was napping uncle Graham stopped by. 10 May/05 We had a busy weekend! On Saturday we moved and I got to spend the whole day with Nana and Dedo. There are so many boxes in our new house, mommy says it will take time to put everything away because I'm such a handful. I really like the new house, there is so much to explore here. On Sunday we went to great grandma Doels for Mothers Day. Happy Mothers Day mommy! 2 May/05 Today daddy started his new job. He says he likes it a lot. 2 May/05 Mommy, daddy and I went to Vancouver for a week. I was very good the whole time. I didn't even cry on the plane! We went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountian, Metrotown, Stanley Park, Van Dussen Botanical Gardens and a bunch of restaurants. I have a lot of girlfriends there. I flirted with all the girls in the restaurants and on the bus. I'm a lady killer. As you will see, I had the most fun at bath time. 16 Apr/05 Today mommy and daddy were sorting the bottles to take them to the bottle depot. I got to play in the grass. I did NOT like that. Then mommy brought out my exercauser and I was much happier. 2 Apr/05 I got to spend today with my Nana and my cousin Mason. We played out on the deck and had a great time together. 22 Mar/05 I have four teeth! The fourth just came in today. I'm pretty cute, if I do say so myself. 19 Mar/05 I have so much news to share today! Mommy and Daddy bought a house! We are moving when daddy is done school. Daddy also got a new job. Mommy and I are so proud of him! He is very happy, and that makes me happy. 19 Mar/05 I like to stand up a lot. I pull myself up on everything. I also like to have mommy and daddy hold my hands and help me walk. I am really good at that. Daddy is almost half way done school and I can't wait. Then I'll be able to see him more often! 19 Mar/05 I have a new cousin, and a new second cousin! Aunty Shelly had a baby girl on Tuesday, her name is Alyssa. Jamie had a baby girl on Friday and her name is Chelsea. I need a boy to play with.
7 March/05 I'm crawling like a mad man and just last week started to pull myself up on stuff. It's a whole new world from this level. Mommy is adding some new pics of me standing! 7 March/05 Daddy has been back at school for a week now. Last week mom and I stayed with Grandma in Edmonton. We went shopping. A lot. I can't wait for daddy to be done so I can see him every night again. Me and mommy both miss him lots. Feb11/05 I've pretty much figured it all out. One hand and the other leg, that's all it takes to get me to my toys! I still fall sometimes, but mommy says I'm doing very well. Look out world, here I come. Feb5/05 I have a new cousin! Aunty Jenny had a baby girl just before noon, her name is Elizabeth Violet Varty. I can't wait to meet her. Feb 4/05 I had visitors today. Aunty Erin and Morgan and Craig came over after the kids got their hair cut. They looked really nice. They stayed for about an hour and we all played with my toys. It was tonnes of fun! Feb 3/05 So I have this new trick. I call it play time. Mommy calls it 2am. Sometimes daddy calls it time to get up for work.
Mommy bought me a Jolly Jumper and let me tell you, this thing is the cats meow! I get hooked up and I can just jump and fly all day! Up and down, up and down, up and down. Sometimes I even manage to spin myself around. Grandma Doel has a swimming pool at her house. Mommy likes to swim so I take her when we go visit grandma. The first time we went I was only 6 weeks old. I have so many stories to share! So I guess I'll start at the beginning. My first picture was of me sucking on my thumb. Mommy and daddy weren't thrilled about that. My favourite hobby is still putting things in my mouth, especially tags! Mommy was very happy that I was born when I was as our doctor and aunty Diannas family were both going on vacation the next day. I was very anxious to see the world and got here as quickly as I could. I had worked so hard that I slept, well, like a baby that first night. Mommy worked really hard to but she was so excited that she didn't sleep much that night. I sure fooled her! Neither of us slept the next night! hehe
