Stories December 29th, Christmas is over. Wheeeeeew! What a great year it has been. Of course I do have to say that it went WAY too fast! As time often does. Aidan received SO many gifts. What a spoiled boy. Of course I am spoiled also.
Hopefully this new year brings some great changes in the Tellefson house. I am looking forward to paying off some bills so that I can stay home with Aidan FULL-TIME! I am really hoping that this works out (and soon). We are working on recognizing letters and numbers. He has been able to count to 16 and recite the alphabet for a long time now. I am working with him on writing them. He has "A" down!! LOL...A is for Aidan he says to us, and T is for Tina (mom) .
Aidan has a new nephew. Noah. He was born December 23rd. Looking forward to meeting him tomorrow night. We are all very excited.
Work is busy, customers wanting to donate so that they can have that tax write-off! LOL
Mats job is going well. (hopefully a little raise this January???) He works so hard. Most I do not understand! LOL...."computer stuff" I call it.

December 17th, WOW it is almost Christmas! Thank goodness I am ready. Aidan is SO excited for Christmas this year. Legos, Geo Tracks and his Polar Express train are his Favorite toys right now. And paper! Really, paper! He loves to walk around with a clip board, paper and pen. Merry Christmas Aidan, here is some paper! LOL. He counted to 15 for me yesterday. He also sings "I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas! I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas! I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas, from the bottom of my heart!!!!!" It is SO cute. If I had a video camera that worked I would post it. Nothing else is new here. Just trying to keep warm.
November 29th, Aidan went on his first big roller coaster yesterday at the Mall of Amercia. He LOVED it.

Grandma was asking Aidan about fire safety. "Aidan what do you do if there is a fire in the house?""Grandma, you take some sticks and put marshmallows on the sticks. Then you put the sticks into the fire. You have to blow on the marshmallows cause they will be really hot. Then you will eat the marshmallows"November 2 nd
Lots going on in our household. First off, very sad news, my Grandma passed away on October 30th. We will be heading to Duluth for her service tomorrow.
Aidan was really sick last week with 102 temp off and on for 5 days. When that cleared up he got a cold! Mat was really sick during all this. I think that Aidan and Mat were home 3 days last week. Until today I was sick free! Then I woke up this morning with a cold! ISHY!
Halloween was great. Aidan, Mat and I had a blast walking threw my parents neighborhood. We even got to walk a bit with Melanie and her family. LOTS of fun and LOTS of candy. Today Aidan and I are staying home to rest before I head to Grandmas service tomorrow. Which is a good thing due to the fact that I am sick and Aidan is still battling his cold.
One great thing that happened this last week, my friend Julie came to visit. I have not seen her in a while. She lives in Green Isle :o( so we dont get to hang out much. Next time I better get to see her daughter Taylor! ;o)

October 25th, Where did fall go??
This is the first year that we did not make it to an apple orchard or a pumpkin patch! Usually we head out to a couple of each.
But we are staying busy. I have been in and out of the Dr office A LOT with my tummy problems. I think that I am on the mend! Hopefully. I am hoping that this winter isn't a really long one. Way to depressing being stuck indoors for so long. Our family LOVES to be outside!! I can't believe that Halloween is next weekend, before we know it Christmas will be here!! Crazy how time flies. We decided not to put Aidan in preschool this year. We will for sure next year. It was just to hard to figure out rides. Hope everyone is doing well and keeping healthy.

August 15th, Today was a great day. We started out going to the Minneapolis Farmers market. We bought tomatoes, radishes, green beans, onions, carrots, salsa and pickles. Then we headed to Northtown Mall for a quick lunch. Of to Costco for a membership. Very dangerous place for me to shop! LOL Aidan is doing great. He has been potty trained for months and months now. Still working on the "poop" thing. Doesn't like to do that. But he did great today!!!
July 22nd I have a really bad habit of calling Aidan "baby". Well this morning when Aidan woke up I said "Good morning Baby" Aidan replies "MOM DON'T CALL ME BABY!!!!!!!!" I told him that I was sorry but I always have called him Baby. He said that he is not a baby. I said "OK Aidan, well then what can I call you?" Aidan says in a very matter of fact voice" AIDAN MATHEW!! (like DUH Mom)
June 20th, I can't believe that we are in the middle of June already. Aidan is doing great. He is counting and saying his ABC's. He is such a boy! Always dirty!!!! Mat is working a lot of weekends this summer. (on call) Which is annoying due to the fact that no matter where we go he gets calls. He then has to drop everything and work. I am thankful we both have jobs don't get me wrong. But I wish sometimes that on Friday he could turn his phone OFF. We took off to Como yesterday after work. We got there around 4 PM. It closes at 6 PM. What a perfect time to go. There was a beautiful breeze and no people! Happy Father's Day to DADDY! All the Daddy's of course! June 5th, Aidan has been doing so well with potty training. Except yesterday and today he peed at Grandma's house! Not sure why he is going backwards! He has NEVER had an accident at home. My Mom thinks that he is having to much fun outside and doesn't want to come in. His ear infection from 2 weeks ago has seem to be all cleared up. We are heading into to a great looking weekend. Hopefully we will get some fun in the sun. And some great pictures too! May 26th, What a fantastic weekend. On Saturday we headed to the Minnesota Arboretum. How beautiful!!! We had a great time running around and taking pictures. After that we headed to the lake to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Ken and Aunt Sandy. Aidan LOVES it there. On Sunday I went to the casino with my Mom. I turned 70 dollars into 160! Yeah me! Yesterday my Mom and I took the kiddos to Como Zoo (Tommy, Anna and Aidan). After that we headed to Uncle Scotts house for a BBQ! (I LOVE Scott's pasta salad!!!!) I could eat that all the time. Huge weekend, fun weekend, now I need a day to rest! haaa May 18th, Today after work we headed out for a walk. After that we decided that we needed some Fudruckers. YUM! Then we headed to Spring Brook Nature Center. It was a great walk. We saw lots of animals. Bunnies, birds, a cat, 2 turtles. The only think that I did not like was the floating bridge! It moves up and down when you walk! Mat and Aidan held my hand across the bridge. (I am serious) Then there were geese on the bridge. I HATE BIRDS! They hissed at me! Not Aidan. Not Mat but ME! . After we were across the bridge Aidan says to me. "Mom, you were scared of the bridge, you were scared of the birds" I said Yes Aidan I was. He then says "I not Mom!" HAA my 3 year old is braver than me.
May 11th, I hope all you beautiful Mother's had a great day yesterday. I was in bed all day. Of course for the past week if I was not at work I was in bed. I didn't even get to see my Mom for Mother's Day (or Mom-in-law) for the fear of spreading bad bad germs. Today I went into the DR and got some meds for double ear infection and a sinus infection. Hopefully I will be back to normal in no time. May 3rd, We headed to Taylor's Falls today. Forgot the camera but has a great time. HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY AIDAN! We love you! Yesterday we had met a couple of friends at Chuck E Cheese for Aidan's birthday. It was a lot of fun. Not that I got to talk to the Mama's very much. Too busy taking pictures and chasing Aidan. Today we are getting some family members together for Aidan's birthday. I still can't believe that Aidan is going to be 3!!!!! (tears are swelling up in my eyes) April 22nd, I can't believe that my baby is going to be 3!!!! Aidan is still loving his trains but he has expanded his likes too Lego's, Ninja Turtles, cars, books, Star Wars, well anything LOUD! Haa We are really working on the potty training thing. One day with me he will go on the potty chair all day and then the next day NOTHING!!! I need to have 3 days off in a row so that I can get it done! Mat and I are still working on the staying at home thing for me. As Mat says "These things take time" As many of you know I have never been able to wait for things! I want it NOW. But for now, I will be still employed at Goodwill! Which is great on the wallet. Aidan's clothes are SO cheap. So are mine!! I am also working on Aidan sharing! At daycare he will not share anything that he brings! (toys) Is this because he is an only child?? not sure. But when I think about it, Mat really doesn't like to share his toys either! HAA (not kidding) Other than that nothing new is going on here. This weekend we are going to celebrate Aidan's birthday. Saturday with some friends, Sunday with family. I will post lots of pictures then. April 12th, Happy Easter!! March 18th, Just had a great visit with Julie and Taylor!
Forgot to note that Aidan is in a toddler bed. FINALLY. He stays in it also....even for nap.
