We went to church tonight (1/24/09) and as we were walking out Max tripped over the sidewalk & busted his lip open. So now he has a fat lip. =o( |

We are thankful for our wonderful kids!

Here are a few facts about each Thakur kiddo:
Kamdyn:
1. Kamdyn is 6 years old now! Instead of having a party this year our family was in the process of moving.
2. Kamdyn started 1st grade in August. She is doing fantastic in school! She gets to ride the bus this year.
3. Kamdyn is now in the 2nd quarter of school, and she has not missed 1 day!
4. Kamdyn is going to be learning to ice skate in the next few weeks!
5. Kamdyn LOVES Hannah Montana, High School Musical, & Camp Rock.
6. Kamdyn has an appt. with her doctor on December 2.
Diya
1. Diya just turned 5 years old. We had a big party for her at Indiana Institute of Technology. She had a blast! A lot of our family came. It was very fun!
2. She is enjoying the summer, and during our move we stayed in Mommy's hometown for a week. Diya loved playing with her cousins!
3. Diya loves to swim, play baseball/t-ball, & play at the park.
4. Diya is going to preschool 3 half days a week.
5. Diya enjoys playing with our neighbors, and LOVES Hannah Montana, Suite Life of Zach & Cody, and High School Musical.
Max:
1. Max turned 2 at the end of August. For his 2nd birthday he got to attend a Cleveland Indians game.
2. Max has developed quite the temper! He really prefers to get his way all the time!
3. Max enjoys running, teasing his sisters, ANY kind of ball, cars, and occasionally dressing up in princess attire. ;o)
4. At 26 months old, Max has 16 teeth. He did not get his first tooth until he was over 1 year old!
5. Max is definitely in his exciting "terrible twos." He is a pincher & biter. There is NEVER a dull moment when he is around!
6. He is talking all the time! Just recently he has added a bunch of new words to his vocab. Max can recognize his Dadi Madhu & Baba Pranesh. He loves his Meme & Paw. He refers to Paw as the battery buyer & sleepy head!

The little girls had a dr. appt today. They have been sick for a few days. I researched pediatricians in the area and decided on one. They went in this afternoon.
Kamdyn weighed 55.8 pounds, and she was 47 1/2 inches tall. Diya weighed 41.8 pounds, and she was 41 1/2 inches tall.

It's the beginning of November, and let me tell you it's COLD outside! I'm nervous what this winter has in store for us! I have heard from a few people that they heard it's supposed to be a mild winter but time will tell.

I just wanted to quickly update that Kohen is starting to babble! He says mama, dada, baba, nana, and a few other sounds. He's been cooing for quite a while. He went from cooing to making a growling. It is cute! I need to make a video of him making all these new sounds.

I had a normal day as usual…I took the kids to school and picked them up. The kids and I ate dinner at our favorite little Coney dog place- Dawson’s Dogs. It was yummy. We went home, and I took a shower. After my show...

We just got home from an extended visit to Fort Wayne. Our friends Jessica & Keith got married! HUGE congrats to them! While we were in Fort Wayne, Kohen went up to a size 3 in diapers! He's getting so big!! I have lots of photos to upload...I am going to work on that now!

Yesterday Max turned 3 years old! I'm still curious how the past 3 years have flown by so quickly!
He woke up on his birthday, and we made cinnamon rolls...per his request! =o)
After a yummy cinnamon roll breakfast, the kids and I made his birthday cake. They each helped by pouring in different ingrediet...

Believe it or not, we are moved in the apartment in Streetsboro and getting used to the idea of living in Ohio. It is not too bad around here and I am starting to like it. Once school starts, kids will also like it here.
