Not much new going on around here. I am still working I worked the whole veterans day weekend and I am planning on working this Sat and Sun. Hopefully the baby will be coming soon hahaha so far no sign of him. I am due on Friday I have an appointment tomorrow so we will see how that goes. We have Parent Teacher Conferences on Friday so that will keep us busy that day. Plus I will be trying to get my payday shopping done too hahahaha Quentin is taking another class this week it goes until the middle of the week before Thanksgiving he hope's he gets to finish it (which means no baby coming until then) I told him I am not holding the baby in for that HAHAHAHAHA The class has to do with his job and earns him extra promotion points so if he can finish it out that would be nice so we will be waiting and seeing hahaha Anyways thats the latest for us I will try and keep everyone posted!!!
I finally got almost all the new picture's on the website the only one's missing are from little Q's bday. Those picture's are on both mine and Quentin's cellphones since my camera ran out of batterys at the last minute so I will get them up soon. These picture's are from Emma's bday, The Sesame Street Show and when we stuffed a bear for Brighton at my work. I hope you enjoy the picture's.
By the way I went to the OB on Thursday and I am only 1-2 which means hahaha this baby is not going anywhere soon I only have 2weeks and days left but for us it will be a few more weeks than that I am sure. I will keep you all posted. Pray we can find someone to watch the kids while I am in labor, children are not allowed in the room and we don't have anyone as of yet so hopefully we will find someone otherwise I will be delivering alone again like with Ethan which was not fun at all.
Yesterday was little Q's birthday, he spent most of his day at school while mommy was running around everywhere trying to get stuff together for him. I took cupcakes to school for him, then brought balloons home and right after that it was time to pick them up from school again. So we came home, Quentin and Gabbie finished up their homework, then big Q called and said he had about an hour before they were going to take him and a few others out to the field. SO I rushed the kids through their homework piled everyone in the van and rushed to the other side of post where Q works. I get over there and NO one knows where they are SUCH A SHOCKER hahahaha Finally Quentin text's me and says he was at the motorpool which is down the street from the company so I head down there and wait until he comes out hahahaha Anyways little Q opened his gifts in the van so his daddy could be there and of course was happy with all he got. So then we came back home I made grilled cheese since it was getting late then we did cake. About an hour later Quentin calls after Emma is in bed and everyone else is watching little Q's Transformer cartoon and says he is not going to the field AT ALL and will be taking a class for the next two weeks to further his MOS HAHAHHAHAHAHA We have been scheduling everything around the field. Anyways none of this seemed to bother little Q and he enjoyed his bday I think he is very used to the military life which drives me crazy HAHAHAHA Little Q is 9 and in 3rd Grade he is doing well and growing into a young man!!!
Today 2 years ago at 2 in the morning Emma Grace came into our family!!!! She has been a true joy to our family, she amazes us everyday by the things she says and does. Every morning when we drop Quentin and Gabbie at school she tells them goodbye and that she loves them it is completely adorable!!!! God has truely blessed us with a wonderful house full of children!! I have to work today so we had present's and cake after Quentin and Gabbie got home from school. I made her cake which turned out not so bad hahaha Mickey and Minnie was her theme. She got a GIANT Minnie balloon which I honestly think was her favorite thing she even made me take it with us to pick Quentin and Gabbie up from school HAHAHAHAHA Emma recieved wonderful gifts from grandparents and us. We had a lot of fun. As soon as I get batterys in my camera(they ran in the picture taking process) I will post all the bday pics.
Just a quick update. Big Q came through his surgery just fine yesterday, he is on bedrest for the next couple of days but doing just fine!!! I wish I felt as good as he does right after having a baby HAHAHAHA Anyways just thought I would let everyone know.
Quentin went for his flight physical yesterday and he got his results today!!! HE PASSED!!! He is extremely excited!!! He has already taken the flight test months ago and passed that so the only thing we are waiting on STILL is his Security Clearance they seem to be dragging their feet. All we are waiting for is to know if we get a temp. clearance while they finish it up or we have to wait for an investigator. They only have about 30 days or so left before he would have to do it ALL over again. So he is keeping on them constantly. Once all that is done with he can finally submit his OCS packet which is the goal hahahaha Anyways I thought I would share that with everyone. Otherwise we are all doing well I am working like crazy, Quentin and Gabbie are busy with school, Ethan and Emma are very busy driving each other crazy HAHAHAHAHA I hope you all have a great week and I will write again soon!!!
Ok................Quentin and I have been debating baby names as of late, since I work at Build A Bear I hear loads of different names but one that seems to come up a lot is AYDEN which is what of course we had picked for our newest Johnson baby. So I told him maybe we should look for a different name so I went online and started looking in the process I found out that Ayden is the one of the most popular baby names of 2008 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Anyways we have gone over a couple of names such as Ian, Collin and a couple of others. We have finally come to agree on one name Brighton. So even though I am sure it is not mind blowing news for you hahaha at the Johnson house everyone (kids included) have been going over this hahaha I will write again with more MIND BLOWING news from the Johnson house HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I know it has been awhile since I updated the site but life is extremely busy around the Johnson house. The kids started school last week, I have been working about 20 hours a week on top of my normal house duties, Quentin is off the funeral detail and back at work so he has long days again!!! Quentin and Gabrielle have both gotten the perfect teachers for them I feel very blessed and not anxious!!!! Quentin's teacher has a good hold on her classroom and does not allow any fooling around exactly what he needs!!! Gabbie's teacher is sweet and very willing to work with whatever comes her way which is PERFECT for Gabbie. Gabbie is very upset right now because all the school work they are doing is review and she likes to inform me every day about how she already knows how to do all this stuff!!! A very good lesson in patience for her. After this week her teacher will be breaking them up into groups for their level of learning so hopefully Gabbie will be more happy when that happens hahahaha I am doing well I have gained a very small amount of weight this pregnancy I am sure working on top of everything has helped that hahaha I am of course feeling bigger just because he is growing and feeling very heavy. At my last visit they determined his head is already down which I already knew because I felt him do it HAHAHAHAHA Ayden is extremely active!!!! The kids love for me to lay on my bed so they can watch my stomach dance everywhere!!!! Big Q is finishing up his class that he is taking. He has decided with not much joy to not take anymore college classes for 3 months in order to get more Army classes done so he can get promoted a little faster he just does not have time for both unfortunately. We are still waiting on the whole Officer School the current hold up is waiting to hear about his security clearance which he should be hearing about anytime now. Once that we pray comes through then he can submit his Officer packet which he will be waiting another good 3-4 months to hear about. So as you can see we do a lot of waiting around here hahahaha Ethan and Emma are doing great here at home they get out every Tuesday with me when I go to PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel) it's the Bible study on post I go to. We are all looking forward to Aydens arrival we only have 10 weeks left I cannot believe how fast it has gone by . As soon as Quentin fixes the picture program on my computer I will beable to post picture's which I have a few hahaha since its been awhile. Quentin and Gabbie started school yesterday. Quentin is in the 3rd Grade and Gabbie in the 1st this year. They both seemed to have a really good first day. Gabrielle told me this morning that her teacher put out name tags with their names on them so they could copy it so Gabbie informed her teacher that she KNEW how to write her name without looking at it HAHAHAHAHA her teacher told her to go ahead and use the name tag HAHAHAHAHAHA I told Gabbie that even if she already knew something that her teacher was making her do just to do it anyways HAHAHAHAHAHA The teacher will be evaluating the class for the next 2 weeks I have a feeling she will get a run for her money with Gabbie. Quentin of course already has started with his usual I am to busy to do my homework attitude so that should make for an interesting year hahahaha But since I work most evenings it will be his daddy who gets to have the fun with him. Well thats the latest from the Johnson house, I was 7 months this past Saturday so this pregnancy is going pretty fast for me!!!! I am sure a Husband, Four kids, A Job and school has nothing to do with the speed at which this pregnancy is going HAHAHAHA I hope everyone has a great week!!!! I will write again soon!!!
We took the side rail off of Emma's crib today so she has a toddler bed now and LOVES IT. She thinks she is such a big girl. She will be getting one of the boys beds here soon when we get them bunk beds, I am sure picking out a bed set and all that will be loads of fun with her!!! We figured the sooner we do it then she won't feel like Ayden is stealing her bed once he gets here.
Well on Thursday we had a pretty decent storm it only lasted maybe 20 min at the most but did plenty of damage. The hail was the size of golfballs, poor Emma was taking a nap at the time, it sounded like rocks hitting the window so she got a rather scary wakeup. The one good thing that came out of the storm was the weather has cooled off into the mid to high 80's compared to the high 90's and 100's we have been having. Anyways we are just thankful none of the trees by our house fell because plenty did all over post. So thats the latest in our lives and I will keep you updated!!
Well I haven't updated my site in a little while. Nothing much is going on here right now I am working almost every day of the week so that keeps life extremely busy. The kids will be starting school on the 25th and I hope the weather has calmed down a little by then since it is so hot right now. We have our new swingset put together which I havent posted the pictures yet but I will but its so hot the kids have hardly played on it at all. I hope everyone is doing well!!
Today we went with daddy to "PT" on Fridays they do something called "Funday", they play frisbee football and football. They do all of this in a field right next to a park so the kids and I went. The kids got to play for about an hour and ahalf they had loads of fun!!! Daddy came home and has been working on the swingset it should be done tonight or in the morning sometime hahahaha
Gabrielle had her ears pierced today and did an amazing job!!!! She didn't even move of course there were a few tears afterwards but no louds sobs hahahaha She is totally thrilled with them. She picked little gold hearts with "diamonds" in them. She is a very happy little girl now.
I wanted to say a quick congrats to my friend Crystal who delivered baby number 5 Micah Bierer today weighing in at 7lbs 13oz and she did it without meds not of her own choosing but I guess he decided to come fast hahaha I hope mother and baby are doing well, we are looking forward to picture's soon!!!!!
Well everything is just going fine and dandy here. The weather has been SOOOOOO HOTTTTTTT High 90's and 100's with humidity to KILL!!! I am not being dramatic honestly its so hot we can't grill outside and the kids can't play out either. So we are pretty much staying indoors. The other night we went out at 5pm so the kids could play out for a little while and it was still in the 90's but with shade hahahaa they were happy to get outside. We bought the kids a swingset a really nice wooden one, Daddy started putting it together it is really big so he got the slide together and that took about 2 and ahalf hours hahaaha with a little help. So the kids are dying to swing on it but between the big rain storms, Quentins schedule, school work and my work it is still sitting in pieces in the garage. But I will take picture's as it gets built. I will be 6 months on Saturday it seems like time is really flying by. Ayden is very active during the day we can only hope that he stays that way when he comes out hahahahaha I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week and I will write again soon!!!

I just realized that we have not shared the name we picked out for our baby boy. His name will be Ayden Phillip...........Ayden I picked and Phillip is the middle name of Quentin's grandfather who passed away while he was in Iraq.
Nothing much going on as of now. We went and got all the kids school supplys that was a sad account on the bank hahahaha it's insane all the stuff they need. I hope you enjoy the new picture's and I will keep you all posted on anything new!!!
We had a great 4th of July!!! We had our neighbors over and Quentin cooked Chicken and Hotdogs on the grill they were great!!! I got to make all the side dishes which of course I loved. After that we let ALL that food settle then we went on post to the Fireworks show which the kids loved!! The weather was perfect and the kids had tons of fun. They were both passed out by the time we made it home. Quentin and Gabbie come home today I will be glad to have them both back!!! Well I have bath's to give and I have work today so I will do my best to keep you all updated on the lastest!!!
I just thought I would let everyone know we went for our ultrasound today and we are having a boy HAHAHAHAHAHA It was a total shock to me none of my boys have ever made me sick so he was the first. In the last couple of weeks I started getting this feeling it might be a boy but not sure hahahaha Now the fight to pick out a name begins Quentin and I NEVER agree on the boys names right away plus we had not even picked any out. I have tons of ultrasound pics but since we moved into the new house we have to install the printer software again so whenever Quentin gets that done ( no one hold their breath) hahahaha Also as soon as he finds my camera hookup so I can put picture's on the computer again I will get that done and I have a TON of picture's!!!!!! Well we love you all, I will try and be better about updating the website now tha we are moved in. Also whenever I am not working I will have the chance to update the site!!!
Well it has been crazy around here as usual. I started working last week, it is loads of fun and will be a very easy job. We are almost all moved in to the new house just waiting for our big stuff to get moved over today. The grand opening of our Build A Bear store is on Friday so that will be a crazy day. My parents are coming down on Friday to get the kids and take them back on Sunday for two weeks for a little fun time for the kids. I am sure Ethan and Emma if she understands are going to be HIGHLY upset with Quentin and Gabbei drive away with Boppy and Nana. I hope you are all doing well. I have my ultrasound on June 27th I am still holding on to the truth that its a girl hahaha I guess we will see then. Talk to you all laters!!
