What a story! I am so glad to hear that you got through things OK. It sounds like they were doing their job, and did it professionally.
I know it's scary and crazy to go through that, but I have to say, I am glad they are out there responding to calls of 'Shots Fired'.
I mean, most people try to run away from shots fired, but these guys run TOWARDS the bullets, to protect us.
I had to go through something similar once, and it is not fun. But, I feel some level of comfort knowing that, if I ever make that call, that they will come to help and protect me.
Again, glad to hear you are OK. I hope you get the WHITE truck back soon!

We're safe and actually most people have been safe, but there's been a lot of damage. Our church meets at the community center, which was used as an evacuation shelter last weekend. So instead of church, we got together and cooked breakfast for the evacuees. It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad to see the sun today!
