Manny will come through for you. He did for us. Quinn is Super Girl this year. I WANTED her to be a princess, but nope, not for her! I wonder if it is the same costume? I did not make that outfit. The woman who sized my dress made it. I made those ribbons for the soccer team, just in purple and gold. I like to make them to match lots of outfits. They are fun! Thanks for the bday wished. 29 is going to be a great year - again!! -Lauren and Q Oct 14 2008
Hey T's!
Great game eehh!! I am happy the Dodgers are doing good for you guys! We had the hugh Giants win last year so I am rooooooooting for the Dodgers for ya! My fav all time pic is the one with Ava in her Piggy tails. OMG she makes me just wanna bite her cheeks! What are all the kiddo's gonna be for Halloween. We still are thinking but Dmitriy wants something to do with Star Wars... Maya would be a great Dora (she would not even have to get dressed) LOL.. I am not finding any cute costumes thought... We'll see. Well I would love it if you guys added another pic on our picture guestbook! Have a great Tue!! -XoXo Stacey G. Joey, Dmitriy, Alex & Maya Oct 14 2008
First off, Congrats to Landon! Your such a big boy now & we are so proud of you. Second, I apologize for not visiting in so long and signing the guestbook. It looks like you have all been very busy and doing lots of fun things together. I can't get over how big Ava is getting and all of the things she is doing now. I can still remember checking your site, waiting for her arrival. Hope all is well with you.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Love, Melissa -bhp/tzetzosfamily Oct 11 2008
Love all the new pictures. I can't believe how fast Ava has grown up.
Happy fall! By the way can't wait to see pictures of your Halloween costumes... Last years was awsome. -The lowefamily Oct 07 2008
Hello Sis,
I had a great time at Amanda's shower yesterday too. The game you did was fun too. Everything turned out perfect.
As for the brownies, they do look good. I have a pumpkin cookie cutter too. I think I will make them on our halloween evening. I might make them for the leaders at Cubbies also. With all that extra frosting you gave me. I have all the supplies.
Have a great week. Love ya,
-Tina Oct 06 2008
You know what? I REMEMBERED that story when I went to the SSA, but couldn't remember if it was you or Jamie Ward. I just remembered a bhp momma with lots of children writing the story. I got lucky, in and out in 30 minutes. It should be here early next week. Well, it is 5:30 am here and I am off to shower and pack Q in the car and drive 11 hours to Florida. TTYL -Lauren Oct 01 2008
Julie, The new pictures are so nice of your sisters shower.. Reminded me of my sister Holly's just 2 weeks ago! I can't believe either that my baby sister is getting married. Shows how time flies! I love the quilt. I love sentimental things like that! I can't wait to see all the girls in their pretty dresses.. We can share wedding day photo's LOL... Congrats to little man Landon on potty training... I am gonna be starting on Maya I think in 2 weeks or so! I would love to save money on diapers. With this ecomomy they are sure to be $50. a pack soon.. (& I ain't kidding) LOL Kisses to everyone! -Stacey G. Sep 30 2008

I just typed a huge comment and BHP erased it because it had the word D I E in it! Here is what I typed in a nutshell: Thanks for offering! You are so sweet! I am not wearing open-toed shoes and we may take some pics on the beach, so I would be afraid it would get washed away. (I typed that I would just D I E if I lost it!)
I used to use the crayon idea (from the packet) for an Earth Day recycling lesson. We also used to read Prince William about a bird covered in oil from the Exxon Valdez. We would read the book, put feathers in oil, and then clean them in DOVE soap. Dry them and glue onto a picture or drawing of a duck. The children learn how hard it is to clean up a major spill and how hard it is to save the animals. Sorry to go off on a tangent... Can you tell I miss being a teacher? I am feeling the itch... TTYL! -Lauren/quinnalexa Sep 25 2008
OMG I am a little late but a BIG CONGRATS to Emma for learning how to tie her shoes. How exciting. That saves alot of time when your rushing out the door. I can not wait. Glad all is going well in the Torresluna household. I can not believe Ava will be walking soon. Where has the time gone?
We will be back soon!
Hugs, -Tina W Sep 24 2008
Learning how to tie your own shoes is hard Emma, so you got our drum roll!! We are in the works with teaching Dmitriy... He is not quite grabbing it! Summer is offically OVER yeah!!!! Loving the beginning of fall here in NY. The weather is so crisp and smells so fresh!! Have a good monday night.. -Huggies, Stacey G. & crew! Sep 22 2008
Hey girl! I am such a slacker on leaving comments lately. I am by here every few days or so but am always in such a hurry I never leave comments...go figure:-) Anyhow. I cannot believe how grown up Ava is getting! You are so right...time flies!
Much love, -Michelle (bhp.net/aultman) Sep 20 2008
Hey, I didn't know you could cheat on your family quiz! What's that all about?!? I'm pretty happy with my score as I tied with Tina!! There were a couple of tough ones on there, like the trick Sadie knows... I guess that means you don't talk about her enough!! Cute idea! Thanks for sharing! Love, Kristin - Sep 19 2008
what the heck is "auties"? So I guessed on Sadies trick? So I only got 80%. -Sissy Sep 18 2008
Oh! It was Aunties? I thought it read Auties and had no idea!! About the pics. You are right. There used to be pics of me on there. We are going through a really dramatic, painful family crisis and I choose to not post pics of myself on there. Also, I hate my pic taken ever since I have been a child and ESPECIALLY I have had the hormone treatments for my fibroids. Talk about some weight gain! The doctors tell me it is temproary, until I get preggers again. I think when I post the wedding pics, I will password protect for a month or so and then take them off. I am so sad it has come to this, but it has. Your Sunday schoolers will love to make the pumpkins! -Lauren Sep 18 2008
Darn I got 80% this time. I'm usually better then that..I'm slipping :) Oh, but one question I was a dork and answered without thinking. On the Auntie question, I counted the sisters and forgot to subtract you. HA! oops :) Love and Miss! -Cheryl Sep 18 2008
I got a 70 on the quiz. And I took it right away so you know I couldn't have peeked!!! Not too bad, I think. -Lauren and QQ Sep 18 2008
Way to go Emma!!! That is a great feeling being able to tie your own shoes. I was in the 2nd grade before I could do it. I think mommy & daddy will have to get you more shoes with laces. Keep up the great work!
Brooke C -~www.csencsitsgirls.com~ Sep 18 2008
Congratulations Emma! We are so happy that you learned to tie your shoes. My oh my all of these firsts, they are just growing up way to fast.
Take Care,
Melissa -bhp/tzetzosfamily Sep 17 2008
Hi! I am signing your guestbook because you told me too. So there!
-Me Sep 17 2008
I just deleted the older pictures to give me room. I can't believe the amount double for you guys. I'm glad I keep my under the mark. -The lowefamily Sep 15 2008
Happy belated Birthday! Hope you had a great day.
Jamie -bhp/ejhaynes Sep 13 2008
By the way, they made me pay the extra 3 dollars a month also. I think it is everyone with over 2,000 pics, right? Sheesh. It made my account balance double! -Lauren Sep 13 2008
Julie did you get our email? $60.00 bucks a year instead of $24.00 that is a huge increase. Go onto photobucket and do a slide show for now. I am just about to max out as well lol! That is what happens when we have been on BHP for more than 3 years, we max out. We should be the elliete members!
Enjoy your Saturday. Glad to hear you enjoyed your special day!
Hugs, -Tina W Sep 13 2008
Wow you maxed out BHP's LOL??? I thought I posted alot of pictures! haha Glad you had a great birthday! The picture frame is gorgeous! How much is BHP charging you for the more room and how much more room do you get? Gosh, I would hate to delete all those pics, I would just pay.. LOL Have a great weekend! -Stacey G. & kiddos! Sep 12 2008
Oh, Julie! That frame with all of the children is priceless. I am so glad you had a wonderful birthday and yummy dinner/dessert outside.
I think it is funny that we both taught the same grade the same year. That was the only year I taught 4th grade. Mostly because it was at a Christian academy that didn't pay much and I didn't feel comfortable not having enough savings in the bank. The next year, I went to a public school and my salary literally increased by 100%!!
I am debating posting during the wedding; we will be gone almost 2 weeks, from the 15th to the 26th. We are not doing our big honeymoon until next year. We are going down to Miami/South Beach alone for a few days, but other than that, Quinn will be with us. I mainly want to bring the laptop so I can save the pics and be sure not to lose them! I am going with the photographer that took Q's 3rd years pics to buy a new camera. Not just a point and shoot camera. I am not sure if I am ready to spend 1300 on a camera, though!!
Thanks for reading. I know I am going to annoy people with this whole thing during the next 5 weeks...
-Lauren/quinnalexa Sep 12 2008
Hello, I am happy that you were able to give us just a little glimpse to your Bday gift from Christian and the kids. It was so nice to see you on your special day. Talk to you soon, Tina -Sissy Sep 12 2008
Just stopping in to see how your birthday went. I am sure you were well taken care of.
Have a good weekend, -Tina W Sep 12 2008
Hey Julie! OMG I have not been over here in 2 days, whats wrong with me.. lol Gee you ask if 3 kids are enough for us.... hmmmmmmm funny you say that cause oh boy have I got the itch again to adopt a little boy from Russia or Poland! When I get this itch it don't go away. LOL Now to convince Joe is another story! LOL My little baby (26) sister is getting married on Nov 9th... Amanda and her are only 1 day apart!! God bless my mom she did a amazing job.. She has such a creative side to her... Are you in her bridal party? That should be so much fun. Alexander is the ringbearer and Dmitriy is partnered with the Jr. bridesmaid who is my neice Taylor... Of course I promised Alex a toy at the end of the isle... He is so shy! Well the town is doing mosquito spraying in 30 min on the whole Long Island to prevent West Nile so I gotta put all the kids toys in the garage! Stay well! -Hugs, Stacey G. & kids Sep 10 2008
Happy Birthday Julie! I hope you had a great day, and that Christian has something really great up his sleeve. It sounds like you got Emma in morning kinder after all! That's great. Hope to see you soon! Love, -Christie Murray Sep 09 2008
Hey, sweetie! Hope your lunch was awesome and you enjoyed your time! You definitely deserve it! Think back to just HOW MUCH you have achieved in your small amount of time. Be proud, Momma, leader, wife, role model, and teacher! Go, girlie!
We had a blast at the Make and Take! 18 people came. And 2 moms are early inteventionists for under 3's and took things to use for them, so I was glad to help. Plus, it was a rainy day and we all got to play together! I will send out the packets probably Friday. It even has the description of each station in it.
A GREAT idea for a playdate!!! -Lauren and Quinn Sep 09 2008
Happy Birthday Julie... I hope you had a wonderful lunch with your Mom and Tina! -Jen Wilson Sep 09 2008
Hey Jules! Have a Really Happy Birthday. I haven't called (yet) because I know you are with your mom. Will try you later. Hope you have a wonderful day. I am to class tonight at Orange.
