1/28/2005 - The other night we picked up Christian from the train station (he has been taking the metro link to work) then had a picnic and playtime at the park. It was totally dark outside, but that just made it more fun! We all had a really fun time! Hey, when you go at night, you don't have to take turns on the swings!

1/24/2005 - On Saturday we took a little trip up to the snow! We had a wonderful family day and the girls had a good time. We sledded down little hills and built a snowman. At the end of the day I asked Maddy if she liked the the snow she said, "It was a little much fun". I think the cold got to them after awile. Anyway, it was a great picture opportunity of a day! You will have to wait til Wednesday to see them(I forgot my camera today).

1/21/2005 - We made rice krispy treats yesterday. Maddy called Daddy on the phone at work and left him a message, "I made you a surprise today because I love you."

1/21/2005 - Yesterday the girls and I stayed home all day. I love those kinds of days. I got lots of laundry done and the house all picked up. The girls were sooo good! They played together so well; It was a nice enough day to play outside and boy did they! They were in the backyard together for hours. Every once in awhile they would come in to bring me flowers for my vase. It's so nice that they have eachother to play with! God has blessed us with two very sweet little girls!

1/21/2005 - As the sun was going down last night, Maddy asked me, "Where does the sun go when it is dark outside?" Don't you just love the minds of children?! I gave the scientific answer about the earth rotating and so on... Christian said he would have told her that it goes to rest in God's arms until morning. Hmmm? I guess that's a good answer too.

1/19/2005 - Yesterday Madeline was playing in the backyard with some neighborhood friends. They were digging with one of Christian's sharp shovels. I told them that it was not a toy and they were going to have to dig with toys or their hands. Maddy did not like that option one bit! She started crying about it. Next thing I see is Emma dragging Maddy's "night-night blankie" across the patio and through all the new dirt that they dug. Emma said, "Here Sissy..here's your nigh-night". Isn't that so sweet???!

1/18/2005 - Yesterday Tina and her girls, Amanda and Luis, and my mom came out for a visit. We went to JCPenney to take our annual cousins picture. It was a pretty crazy tiem trying to get all 5 loking good, but we got one!! I'll post it when we get it.

It took them 3 and a half hours to get home from Orange county to Agoura Hills! Poor family :( It's normally a one hour drive...that California traffic is something else! (plus taking a wrong turn doesn't help!) Thanks for driving Tina!

1/18/2005 - It sure is nice to have our California sunshine back! It was fun to have the rain, but two weeks straight was a little much for me! The girls are very ready to get back outside to play! They have missed their swingset and grass!

1/18/2005 - Christian went away for another Wild at Heart weekend (phase #2) last weekend. It was just me and the girls Thursday through Sunday. I don't know how single moms (and Air Force moms) do it! It is hard work to have no Daddy home at night! We sure did miss him, but we managed! On Friday night, Maddy and I had a special late night of popcorn, goodies, and "Dumbo" movie. She loved it!

1/3/2005 - Our new story of the week is that our little monkey can now climb out of her crib! A few nights ago I heard thsi big thump coming from the girls' room. then Maddy started screaming. I ran in to find Emma laying on the floor crying. She wasn't hurt, but it sure did give her a good scare. We are now leaving the side of the crib down, but she hasn't gotten out again. I guess it's about time to buy her a bed??!

1/1/2005 - I have had a nice and relaxing week off of work. It has been wonderful spending so much time with Christian and the girls! We had parties to attend and movies to see. It was an awesome week! And did I mention....WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!!!!!

12/26/2004 - Those of you that said we would announce our pregnancy Christmas 2004 were right!! We told the family during the Christmas festivities. It was really exciting! I took a pregnancy test on December 23rd. I told Christian that night with a "New Parents" ornament. We waited to tell the family until we saw them for Christmas. What exciting months ahead we have! The due date is August 29, 2005.

12/26/2004 - We had a wonderful Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve at our home after church. We had a nice dinner and opened presents with Betty, Angel, Nana and Montse. It was a late, but wonderful evening.

Christmas morning came all too early with Maddy coming into our room and shouting, "Let's go see if Santa came!". He did, and he brought lots of presents. The girls painted with their new easel and spent the morning playing with all their new toys. They took their naps and we got ready to go to Grandma and Papa's house.

We spent the afternoon and evening having a nice Christmas dinner and having a chaotic time of 5 little girls opening a ton of presents! It was a lot of fun!

After we put the girls to bed, Christian and went over to Tina and Greg's house for a night of playing balackjack on Greg's new poker table. It was nice to spend the time with them. We spent the night in Agoura and we'll drive home some time today. We all had a very Merry Christmas!

12/20/2004 - The program went fabulous on Sunday! Betty and Angel, Montse, Nana, Grandma and Papa, Jen, and Michele all came to see Madeline in her Christmas production. She was making all sorts of funny faces and she was dancing during the program. Towards the end of it she grabbed herself and loudly said, "Mommy I have to go potty!". I had her walk off stage, she went to the bathroom and still made it back fo the last song. We served lunch at our place afterwards; it was a very fun and memerable day!

12/17/2004 - Once again I hardly have a second to post anything. I'm super busy with getting ready for the children's production this Sunday. Madeline will be in it. It's called "I Wish You Jesus". It's an adorable church play. I can't wait to do it. You are all invited to it, this Sunday morning at 9AM.

We went to visit Santa Clause last night. Both girls screamed and cried every moment of it. On the way there Maddy was saying that she was going to talk to Santa this year and maybe sit on his lap. But, when she saw him she wanted to run the other way. We got crying pictures anyway..they are still really cute!

12/13/2004 - No time to post pix today. I'll post them on Wednesday hopefully...you've gotta see Emma's haircut!

12/13/2004 - We had a very nice weekend. On Saturday Emma got her first haircut. She now has bangs. It makes her look so much older! It looks really cute! Emma often pulled out her hair bows and clips; it's just easier for her to have abngs so we can see her adorable little face! Our next door neighbor, Belia did the momumentous cut!

Saturday night we had a reunion of my college group that I hung out with at PCC. It was so much fun to see everyone. We had a great turn out of people! It was so nice to meet the children and spouses too!

On Sunday Christian went horse back riding with the church men's group in Norco. Christian planned the entire trip, so he was extremely pleased with the response of the men at our church. They all loved it!

Last night we drove around a Christmas decorated neighborhood in Brea. It was beautiful to see how a neighborhood of people could pull together to decorate like they did! It was amazing! There were millions of lights!! Both girls enjoyed the drive!

12/10/2004 - Emma is now starting to hit a lot. We are trying to put a stop to it quickly. She get's a time out in her crib when she hits. She'll cry about it, but then she comes back and hits a few minutes later. Maddy is doing well with it; she's not hitting back very much. This too shall pass! Children are soo much fun!

Maddy is so excited for Christmas! She can't wait for Santa to come to our house. The last two years she was afraid of Santa Clause, but this year I think she might sit on his lap. We'll see?! It's so much fun to experience Christmas through the eyes of children! I love it!!

I know for certain that Emma will not sit with Santa. She doesn't like any characters or dressed up people. At Chuck E. Cheese's, both girls cry if Chuck E. gets too close.

12/6/2004 - We have had fun gettting our house all ready for Christmas. Maddy really wanted to help this year. Both girls helped hang ornaments on the tree. they only broke one (so far). It has been rainy and cold here lately, it really feels like the Christmas season is here!

Ashley's 4th birthday party was on Saturday. We had a great time with family at Chuck E Cheese's. We are a little partied out as far as children's parties go. Maddy and Emma love to party! Chuckk E. Chese's is the best!

Christian and I went to a Christmas party last night so the girls got to go stay the night with Lito and Lita. They are still there now. They both love to be there! Maddy is going to go see Polar Express with Lita today. She loves the book, so I hope she'll like the movie.

11/29/2004 - We had a great holiday weekend. We had Thanksgiving with my family at my parents' house. It was a really nice afternoon, but my sister, Tina, and her family were missed. They spent Thanksgiving in Murrieta with Greg's family this year. Amanda went down to the park with Christian, me, and the girls. She took some Fall faimily pictures for us. They turned out pretty cute!

On Saturday morning we went to the mall to have more family pictures taken. It was actually not as crowded as we thought. Emma was a stinker for pictures. She is so shy! It just takes her a little while to warm up; then she's a ham! Our pictures turned out nicely; I'll post them soon.

We got our Chrstmas tree set up on Saturday and we decorated it on Sunday night. We went to Christian's parents' house for dinner last night. His Aunt and cousin were up from Mexico. It was a nice visit.

11/24/2004 - On Saturday morning we went to a brithday party for Abigail Tamplin. Abigail's dad is Christian's boss and we have become good friends with the whole Tamplin family. The party was at "Build a Bear" in Mission Viejo...What a cool place!! We had soooo much fun! The girls loved choosing their bears, fluffing them, washing them, hugging them and loving them. They are so cute! We enjoyed it so much that I think we may do Maddy's 4th birthday there.

11/22/2004 - We started our weekend by getting a babysitter for Christian and I to go out to dinner and a movie with our freinds, Lance and Arlette. Emma got sick in the van on the way to their house. We contimplated if we should continue with our plans or take Emma home. She had no fever or any other signs of being sick, so we left her with the sitter. She was totally fine the rest of the night. (and we had a great time out).

Saturday I went to a scrappbooking day at my church and Christian called to tell me Maddy threw up all over our bed. So, I finished up my page and started to pack up my things. He called and said she vomited all over the sofa! As I was packing up my stuff I started to feel a little queezy myself.

I arrived home feeling sicker than a dog and was up all night with it too! Christian was awesome...on Sunday we all stayed home from church and he took our blankets and sofa cover to the laundry mat. He went grocery shopping, made chicken soup, and even took Emma out so Maddy and I could get some rest.

The sickness only lasted 24 hours for each of us...this morning Christian is home from work. His first episode was at 7AM. Poor baby. At least now, it will have run it's course through us all! We hope our friends and family don't get it too!

11/19/2004 - On Wednesday afternoon Madeline asked me, "When I go see Jesus, Can I pick a star?". I told her yes, that she could have a star. Then she asked, "How will I get there to see Jesus?" I told her that when He is ready for us he will call us up there to live with Him in heaven. Then she said, "Well, we will need to buy me an angel costume from e-bay first."

11/17/2004 - Last weekend we had a fun family weekend. We spent most of the time at home cleaning and playing. It was nice to spend the weekend at home after having such a busy on the run month!

We have 2 birthday parties this week. One at Chuckee Cheese's and the other at Build a Bear. Maddy loves parties so much!!

11/12/2004 - Emma is talking so much! She is putting lots of words together now. She says "I Love You" very clearly. She also can communicate almost any request now. She is growing up so fast!
