Jamie Your site looks great as always - where do you find the time? I have been so busy lately with the kids, x mas and my jewlery I can barely find time to update let alone clean :) Ahh time really flies! Our kids are all growing up so fast. Hello! I was just stopping by to say hi and I was reading about your lil tylie's diaper rash, I know that it is an old post but, my momma (there are four of us kids aged 13 me,4,2 and 9months) found that lansinoh (http://www.lansinoh.com/) works really well for that kinda thing even though it is not ment for a diaper rash it clears it up really well. Jamie Jamie Jamie... are you trying to jinx me?? Everyone keeps asking me if we are having more. Why??? I know I gained back alot of weight but man everyone keeps emailing me if we're having another. LOL Well umm I won't say we are done forever but for right now we are. I really really really LOVE being prego and miss it so much and I really want a baby but ahhh it is so hard giving the 4 we already have enough attention I don't want to leave anyone out. Besides we are currently on the 5 yr plan LOL Right now we are content with or lil family of 6. These boys keep me on my toes and just when I think it's safe here comes La ~ La :) Know what I mean?? or are you just that good that you want to add more to your pack? LOL For some reason 5 seems like so much more than 4 How big of an adjustment is it? And what was your biggest adjustment?? Mine was going from 2 to 3 kids. Half the time I'm still trying to get used to the 4 I got LOL Oh well all in all the answer is no not right now :) For this month at least. Are you guys done??

I can never pump more than a couple of ounces, but I always have a great supply (I guess the baby is a lot better at getting it out than I am). Anyway, oatmeal is supposed to work wonders, which I can attest to since I eat it every day & am always busting full of milk (just can't get much out when I pump).

Hey girl! You know, I didn't even think about us being able to find out the sex of the baby next week until you left your comment:-) But I guess it is possible. I will be 2 days shy of 17 weeks then and they said they would be able to tell at 18 weeks. I am getting the u/s done to measure my cervix, but surely while there looking, if they see pieces or parts they would tell us:-) Atleast I hope so...now I am extremely anxious. So you better go make your prediction on my expectnet, just in case we do know next week. OMG...now I can't wait.
And thanks for the advice. Derek and I have prayed on it and God has told us that he will protect us all. So we are 99% sure we are going to decline the medicine, unless the Dr. can do a really good job at convincing me otherwise.

Jamie, This may sound too awful to try it, but if you really want your milk supply back- pump about 10 minutes on the hour, every hour, for 36 hours (even through the night) to trick your body into thinking that you have a very hungry baby. Your body will produce as much as your baby is demanding. If you make your body think that Ty is demanding to be fed every hour, you will begin producing more. This was the suggestion of the lactation consultant at Kaiser. It won't be fun- but it's worth it! I nursed all three babies for 9 -12 months and I had to do that once when Emma was about 6 weeks old (right when she started to skip her middle of the night feeding. It was torture, but I got my milk poduction back and nursed her for 8 more months after that. All these women leaving you all this advice, something has to work! Good luck. I love breast feeding. Hey! So, I had the same thing happen to me with the low supply. I never got it back up...but that was due to not feeling comfortable pumping at work. Anyhoo...my mid-wife friend told me to drink Mother's Milk Tea. It tasted pretty good and did help a little. I just wound up not taking the time to pump as much. You can find the tea in any grocery store or vitamin store.

Hi Jamie, I love the new look of your website. I'm so excited for the Holiday season, it's my favorite time of year. Tylie is growing so fast, I love those pictures of the 3 little ones together. So cute!!! I wish I could help with the breastfeeding. I never had a problem with it, but from what I know. Drinking TONS of water is great for milk producing. I would drink 4 - 16oz. glasses of water a day and I nursed both of my girls for 13 months. Good Luck and I hope you find a solution.

Oh Jamie, I feel for you on the pumping. I couldn't pump for some reason either. I did good to get 1/2 oz. once a day. But I could nurse like it was going outta style. I have nursed all three of my babies up to 6 and 9 months with no problems. The only problem was with pumping and I never could find an answer on why nursing was just great but pumping got nothing!!! So if you figure that out, you'll have to let me know as I would like the option of pumping and not just stictly nursing #4!
