I recognize that "Daddy's gone" quote from "The Little Princess" movie on your front page. My girls watch both of them- the Shirley Temple one and the newer one. They love that movie!
I'm ready for you to get a new camera. And if I'm ready, you're probably REALLLY ready!! Hopefully you'll get one soon.
You were talking about getting studio pix done. There is a phootographer in Montclaire in the JCP photo studio that is SOOOOO GOOD!!! She is worth the drive, I promise! Her name is Jenna, you can request her. You can download coupons from JCPportraits.com. You can also have your pix sent to you by e-mail so you can put them on your site. But, you do have to be patient when you use JCP cuz it takes 1 week for your e-mail and 2 weeks for your actual pictures. Believe me, it's all worth it and they are very reasonably priced. ~Just a thought.
Wow! You are almost done with your pregnancy! This has gone soo fast! Mine has too. I have less than 3 months to go. Are princesses will be here before we know it. Love ya, Julie -bhp/thetorreslunafamily Sep 07 2007
I am happy to hear things are going well for you. I love Ricky in his uniform, he looks so darn cute! Thing are finally settling down here now. Makayla started school yesterday (9/5) & was very thrilled with going to the 7th grade. Of course I don't like that my baby is growing up. Well, I just wanted to stop by & leave a note because I do stop by alomst everyday to see what is up but I am really bad about leaving a note ;). Hope you feel better soon. -Brooke Csencsits Sep 06 2007
VERY cute belly pic, it's so exciting how close you are getting!!!!!! Yay! -Crystal Sep 05 2007
WOWSER is all I can say! I feel like I have been away FOREVER and so much has happened in such a short time. lol I was only gone for a week to move Brittany back to college!
Jamie, I am so happy you and Rick decided to move to Mississippi! Which city...Pascagoula, Biloxi or M.e.r.i.d.a.n???? (site kept kicking back name every time I typed it in regularly) I have been to Mississippi a few times and it's not that bad. I haven't been to the coastal area near New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina hit, so I don't know what it looks like now. I have been to both the University of Mississippi(Starkville) and Ole Miss (Oxford) to watch Brittany play softball. We also have friends who live in Pascagoula. I do think you will like living in the South...people in the South are very warm, loving, kind and giving and it's a great place to raise a family! Of course, I just might be a little partial!!! :) And if little Ricky likes to play football, there's no better football than in the SEC! Personally, I feel you made the right decision to keep your entire family together. The love of a family is life's greatest blessing. I believe in FAITH, FAMILY and FRIENDS and in that order. If you have those, what more do you need!! Maybe, we could even get some of us bhp'ers together in this part of the country. That would be AWESOME!!
You only have a couple of more months to go before we meet Tylie. Layne is sooooo ready to have little Avery. We're all hoping it will be any day now.
Just wanted to pop in and say hello and let you know I'm so happy for all of you! Give all your kiddos a big hug and kiss from your friends in Atlanta.

Awww your stories made me cry! I too would want to move to keep the family together! Mississippi isn't as far as Cali! Maybe we can get the midwest/south Mamas together for a BHP playdate!!!
I cant believe you are already 30 weeks!!
And YAY for daddy being home, that is so nice!! -Katie M Aug 23 2007
Hi Jamie, I think it's a godd choice to move back, so that your family can be together. I'm sure your family in Cali will miss you, but if Ricky isn't doing great, he needs his daddy. I don't know how you do it all by yourself. John is so busy with football and we don't see him that much, but he's only about a half hour away and we're bummed! It will be neat to live in the South. There's so much history there! We'll have to have a BHP get together before you go.
Take care, -Jenni/babyw Aug 23 2007
So glad that Rick is home visiting and I agree with your decision completely on moving to MS. Family is the most the important thing and if there is the opportunity to be together -- Do it!!!
Take care -Michelle (bhp.net/aultman) Aug 23 2007
Awww Jamie! I am so excited for you little family, to have there daddy home VERY soon now! That is so wonderful! BOO on his flight getting canceled, and having to find another, but I am glad he did!
XOXO

Hi Jamie!
Thank you for the birthday wishes! It's been a week or so since I've had my Ward Family fix so I just spent the last 30 minutes reading ALL your stories HAHA! Oh My Gosh you have SOOO much stuff going on... I'm so glad Rick will be home with you and the kiddo's for almost 2 weeks, aaawww I can only imagine how excited you are! AND Even though you are in a great place right now being so close to your sisters, I would do the same thing and move to keep the family together, it's so important, especially for lil' Ricky.
Glad to hear the pregnancy is going well (minus the yucky feeling!) and OMG I am SO jealous you brat, you are going to weigh less than your 145 goal when Tylie is born! It's taken me 4 months but I am finally back down to my pre-preggers weight and I'd still like to lose another 10lbs!
You are an amazing Mom and Wife... and I think you are stronger than you realize. I can't wait to see some updated pictures of those adorable kids of yours, and pix of you and Rick! -Terresa - www.babyhomepages.net/ourfirstbaby Aug 22 2007
Jamie, Cool! So, we could actually do your going away party between Christmas and New Year's when all of the kids are out of school. That would be so much fun! How about Thursday or Friday December 27th or 28th? Work for you?? I would say earlier in December, but never know when little Ava will arrive- my other 3 babies were late! Gotta check with all the other BHP Mamas' schedules. Maybe if we plan it this far in advance, we could make it work even though it's in the middle of the busiest time of year. Can't wait!
I'm so happy for you to be able to be close to your hubby! I can feel how much happier you are, even though I can't see or hear you! I bet Tylie is sittin' a little more comfy now that Mama is stress free. Love ya, Julie -bhp/thetorreslunafamily Aug 22 2007
Jamie, I soo happy for you that you are feeling stress free now that the decision has been made to go be with Rick in Mississippi. He's probably so excited knowing that his beautiful wife and all his babies will be there with him during this long journey. He's lucky to have you all.
I'm glad I got to meet you and your kids while you were in the Southern CA area. Even though you weren't here for long we made it happen. Hey, maybe we could get a going away party for you together after Tylie is born- that would be fun! How about around mid-November?? You are moving in December, right? Let's start planning now. Woo hoo!
Love, Julie

Hi Jamie, You are such an amazing woman! I don't know how you keep it all together. I'm glad you'll be able to be with your honey... Remember home is always where your family is(: Take care of yourself and I look forward to the updates! Lots of Love, Sara -www.bhp/wilsongirls Aug 22 2007
Jamie, I am so excited for you!! Rick will be home in less than a day! YAHOO! I am glad you have been able to make your descion. Wow, only 8ish weeks away from meeting your newest princess!!!!
XOXO Audra -www.babyhomepages.net/madisonrayne/ Aug 21 2007
Jamie Hang in there girl! Rick will be home 2-marrow you'll all be on cloud 9 and be able to relax a little and take your mind off the strees (for a few days at least:) I can't tell you if you should move or not but I can tell you what we do and have done before. Being in the military you move so much.... who wants to move again if you don't Have to?? Well if I were you I would make a list of the positives and negatives to moving again. Just so you can see it in writing ( It always seems more real to me that way) Just keep in mind a few things..... You can always make new friends (I'm sure you'll have no problem there) you can always visit your family back home and I know it's not about the $ but it does cost alot to move- but just think the Military covers all your moves and then some so just think of it as the xtra $ you'll get the next PCS and the past moves will cover the cost of this one. AND you can't take back time that you lost. 20 months is a LONG time, pictures and phone calls help but they are nothing compaired to the real thing. I don't know..... we follow Donny everywhere. He misses out so much when he is away that if there is anyway we can see him (even if it's once a wk, we've done that b4 too) we will follow. It can be stresfull I know... talk about moving at like 34wks pregnant and he has NO leave to help with the move, new doctors, new everything! Talk about stress. But it was well worth it. I hope you find the right answer and this helps you a little. Enjoy your time with your hubby!! -Liz Flores Aug 20 2007
Jamie, So sorry you have to struggle through another difficult decision of where to live. By the reads of your story updates it sounds like it might be best for your family to be with Daddy. It sounds like Alexis ajusts anywhere and little Ricky needs his Daddy. It seems that you would be happier being closer to Rick too. It is a very long time to be apart! The 3 baby girls would be able to grow and bond with Daddy if he were closer too.
Selfishly, I want you to stay here cuz I loved spending time with you and your kids, and your pool/waterslide was fabulous!
No matter what you decide to do, go with your gut, follow your heart, talk it over with Rick and see what he thinks is best for the family. You'll manage no matter where you are. You are very strong! Best of luck and God bless you and your family as you make this huge decision. ~Julie -bhp/thetorreslunafamily Aug 20 2007
Hey Jamie:
I have been praying for you, the kids and Rick. I can't imagine what it's like with four children and the 5th on the way, and on top of it all daddy is away. I know that when Rick comes home, you two can sit down and discuss it. If Little Ricky is going through a lot, I know as a mom you want to make the best decision for your children. Being a mom, I know we are willing to even die for our children. If you know it's possible to make the move to Mississippi and be together as a family, then I would say do it. I know you have your family (sister, parents) etc, right there as well, so either move you make you have loved ones near by. Talk with Rick about it and make a decision on his visit, know that God places things in your heart to help you make the right decisions, so follow your heart. Were praying for you. -Rosy & Family Aug 20 2007
Jamie...
Sending lots of prayers and hugs your way. I believe on Wed when you see Rick you will instanly know the answer to your question. Only 2 more days....Follow your heart.
Love,
Tina -bhp/babywiggins Aug 20 2007
Awww, Jamie, sending a big hug your way. It sounds like you're having as hard of a time as Ricky is having Rick away. Just a couple more days until he's in your arms again... Hopefully he can help you figure out what's best for your family. I know what you mean about Ricky needing a father figure because I've recognized changes in our oldest son when he doesn't get enough time with his dad. I can't imagine how he'd do if his dad was gone for as long as you have to be without Rick. My sisters family is military as well, and I watched how her son struggled when his dad was deployed for over a year. As much as Alexis doesn't want to move again, I'm sure she'd be happier in the long run being together as a family, and will quickly adapt and make new friends as always. If anyone can handle packing up and moving again, it's you! I've lost track of how many times you've done it since I've been following your family, but you always make it look so easy!! Follow your heart when you make your final decision, and you can't go wrong! Thinking of you and wishing you the best! Hugs, Kristin
-bhp/schauers Aug 19 2007
Hi Jamie! From one military wife to another--I would go to him! I can't imagine how hard it will be for you to decide and then actually follow through--we just finished a 16 month deployment and I know how you feel. Your family is in my prayers and that He will guide you to the right answer. I know you have got to be losing your mind but stay strong and drop by anytime if you need to chat!

Jamie
I was just checking in on you and I have to say that your last couple of stories broke my heart. Oh Mama- here's a big hug for ya. I can't say I know how you feel but we miss Raj when he's gone on vacation. Keep your chin up Mamie and know that your family is in our prayers for the days to fly by until Rick is home with you all again.
Not too much longer till you meet little Tylie. She's coming to make those long days just a little shorter. Your family is nearby so that's a good thing and if it is God;s will that you move closer to Daddy then it will happen no matter the cost.
Hugs to Alexis, little Rick, Arlee and Timberlee. -Love the Singhs/ahrenjudekarransingh Aug 17 2007

Hi Jamie, Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I know with your hubby being away, that it can not be easy. Which makes me so appreciative of your caring words to my family. Please know we are thinking of you and your family and wishing for a safe & speedy homecoming for Rick. Take care of those babies and we will talk with you soon.

Hang in there Girlie! :) I can't say I know how you feel because my hubby is not in the military, but he does travel a lot for his job leaving me a single mother too(of course, I just have one child). Anytime you are feeling lonely you can e-mail me, we can always get together too or talk on the phone after the kids go to bed! Hope you are feeling better(stomach ache). Bye for now. -Lisa-rlittleangel Aug 13 2007
Hi Jaime,
I stop in from time to time as I love your website and think you have an amazing family. I too will be praying for you and your strength during this time. My husband was in the Marine Corp for 11 years and we know what these deployments are like. It is very hard and you have every right to have these moments, but hang in there, somehow God knows how to challenge us just enough to make us dig deep for that inner strength. You have it in you and I agree one day at a time is much easier to handle.. tell yourself when you get up you need to deal with today today and not worry about tomorrow until then. Remember through God all things are possible. -A fellow BHP friend.. Debbie bhp:datsdwax Aug 13 2007
Jamie, I feel for you and you are in my thoughts and prayer. Being apart is so tough. I don't know excatly how you feel, but close, but my husband is gone during the week every week (he is in sales). It just leaves me and the 3 kids here and NO family. My family is in MS, thats where I was born and raised!!! Just a plug for MS. Its not that bad in my opinion. I lived there for 25 years!!! It gets terribly hot though! Where in MS is Rick at? Is it Columbus? I hope that this week your spirits pick up! Love, Stacey -stacey ~ bhp/winsteads Aug 13 2007
Jamie~ Hoping today is a better day for you, and that you were running on exhaustion in your last post. Just remember that you're doing the best you can do, and not to be too hard on yourself when you have a bad day. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers. Don't be afraid to lean on your family and friends while Rick is so far from home! You don't have to be super Mom every minute of everyday!! Hang in there!! Much love, Kristin
