Stories

3/15/2005 Mason had been asking me to make him cupcakes, so today we did. The boys loved helping me make them. Mason wants to do everything and Connor just wants to put his hands into everything. It is really fun to see them explore and learn all this new things. I just have to think of more fun things( safe things) for all of us to do. And if I keep this up soon they will cook dinner for us.

2/20/2005- A couple of  weeks ago, we visited the Anaheim Fire station #7 with a group of mothers from Sunkist Church and their children. It was funny to see the boys reaction. I thought they were going to be thrilled to be there, but that was not the case. They were scared and a bit afraid. They really did not want to go inside the fire truck and they did not want to try out a fireman suit either. The firemen were very friendly and were putting the kids inside the truck. When one of them tried putting Connor inside the truck he started to cry. Mason was the same way, he just didn't cry. Well, over all it was a good visit and now they can say they have been next to a real fire truck, and I got some good pictures for a good scrapbook page.

2/28/2005 - Our trip to Disneyland. We had been planning a trip to Disneyland for a few weeks , but the rain kept messing up the plans.
We finally made it, and it was so much fun. It had been at least 7 years since Zach and I had been there and it was the boys 1st time. We made it a toddler experience. This means that we did only rides the boys could ride. That was good enought any ways, we forgot how big the park was. We did not have enough time to do the whole park. I must have taken 100 pictures. I can't wait to scrapbook this trip,it's probably going to take 4 pages to put this many pictures in.
We bought the 2 for tickets, so we'll get to got to California Adventure two month from now. It is amazing how having kids changes a trip to Disneyland, we got to enjoy it throught their little eyes. We got so much enjoyment showing the kids all fun things, sharing stories with them and seeing their little faces light up when they saw the wonderful thing Disnyeland has to offer.
We can't wait to go to the other park, this time it will be a first time experience for all of us.

1/1/2005 - Happy New year!!!
This year we stayed home. The Crawfords(My sister's Family) came over for a relaxing night. We played a very fun dance video game and we each took turns and could not stop laughing at each other's funky moves. The kids stayed up for as long as they could, but around 10:30p.m they went to sleep. The rest of us waited for the Ball to drop at Midnight and toasted with some sparkling cider. We pray to God that this year will be full of Blessigns for all of us, as well as for all our friends and family.
Let's start the New year with a positive thought." It's good to be important, but it is more important to be Good"
God Bless us all!!!

12/23/2004 - Zach is on vacation this week, so we decided to go to Las Vegas and left the kids at home with Grandma. We were gone only two nights. It was a lot of fun. We didn't win any money, but that's OK. It was hard for me to leave the kids. This was the first time we have been away from Connor and the second time for Mason. When we got home Connor didn't want me.He just wanted my Mom. He would cry if I tried to hold him. Finally after an hour he came to me. I think he was mad

12/6/2004 - We finally got to take our Family pictures. Let me tell you that it wasn't a pleasent.Connor was a very unhappy baby, every time the guy who was taking the pictures would aproach him, he would start screaming and crying and he didn't want to sit for a moment. He had to bribe him with candy. As you can see he is not smiling in any of the pictures, but that's OK, the pictures still turned out ok.
Hope he'll be better next time.

11/30/2004 - We hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving holiday. We This year we were thankful for our friends and family and for all the things The Lord has given to us.It has definitely been a hard year for our family, but we are thankful for the strenght God has given us to endure these hard times.Happy Thanksgiving Day!!!!

11/24/2004 - Last weekend we decided to take the boys to the Natural History Museum. They both love Dinosaurs, so we knew they were going to enjoy the Museum very much. Mason loved looking at the stuffed animals in the natural scenes, but he kept asking why the animals were not moving. They looked so real, he tought they were alive.I told him that they were not real but he still din't understand.

11/9/2004 - Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce you to the new Whites in the family. As most of you know I love all type of animals, but I find frogs to be very special. So Zach gave me a White Lipped tree frog for my 34th birthday. We named him or her??? "Hunter",because he loves to hunt his food(crickets). After a week of having Hunter we decided to get him or her?? a friend. So we got another frog. We named this one "Lito" derived from Litoria Infrafrenata, which is their Latin name.
And just 2 weeks ago we inherited from my Aunt Silvia two baby Red Eared Slider aquatic turles. A small male named "scaredy",becaused he gets scared easily and his beautiful girlfriend "mystery" a name she got because at first they didn't know what sex she was.
The boys love to feed their new pets and to bag on their tanks too...
Thanks to Silvia and to Zach!!!

11/1/2004 - Happy Halloween!!! We had fun last night trick or treating. We went over to our friend's Tim and Reina. And their two little Mice Reese and Jeremiah and another little friend Diego were waiting for us to go trick or treating. Later on my sister's kids James, Sam and Cassandra joined for a night of candy and fun.
Mason loves candy, so much that Halloween is becoming his favorite holiday. And our least favorite since we have to constantly tell him to stop eating candy. Connor had to be carried most of the way. That little chick got tired quickly. Everybody tought he was a little girl. They kept saying how adorable she looked and kept giving Mason candy for his little sister. The funny part was that he would not correct them, he would just politely accept the candy and say thank you.

10/27/2004 -This past Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch and had a great time. Mason loved the trian ride, sice trains are his most favorite thing in the world. We also ran in to Dr. Silverman who was the Doctor who delivered Connor. She could not believe he was 13 months old already.
