Hi Everyone,
I had a great birthday and thanks to everyone for sending me presents, it was like Christmas all over again, no room left in my bedroom for toys!
I now go swimming with my mammy and daddy every week. I can swim on my own with just my armbands! I love to splash my daddy, but then he chases me in the water and I end up drinking the water, it's not very nice, don't do it!

I had a great time Christmas morning opening all my presents. Thanks you to everyone for sending presents to me and Christmas cards, you made my Christmas very special.

Hello everyone,
We moved into our new house a few months ago and we love it! It's across the road from Ali and next door to Meg. The school is right next door also so when I get big I will go to the school. Sometimes in the evening mammy, daddy and I go for walks to feed the horses who live up the road. We love our new home......

Niall here. I just wanted to say thank you and send big hugs and kisses to everyone who sent me presents for my birthday. Big shout out to my (fellow) American family and friends, hi to Auntie Catherine and Uncle John and to Elayne and Mike, thank you for my presents guys.
Aren't birthdays great! I got loads of stuff, can't wait 'til next year. It was nice to see all my uncles and aunts in Dublin last week, everyone was very generous, thank you all.

11/26/2004 - Hi everyone,
I haven't talked to you all in ages. So much has happened. It was Thanksgiving yesterday, we all had Turkey and stuffing and loads of different food. I had my daddy's home made baby food, it's quite the tasty stuff, I had carrots and sweet potatoes and corned beef and then I had apples and pears for dessert, yummy stuff.
I also had my first taste of Halloween. I dressed up as a pumpkin and went trick or treating with my friends. I got loads of candy, but I got very tired and fell asleep after a while, but I had a great time.
I went on my Summer holidays to a place called Ireland, thats where my mammy and Daddy are from. I met so many people and had a really nice time. Mammy and Daddy say we're going back to Ireland in March, I'm looking forward to seeing all my new family and friends again.
I have loads of teeth!!! 6 in all, it was really sore for like 2 weeks and I didn't sleep very well, but it's all good for now but I think there are more coming!!!!!more sleepless nights I guess.
I can now get around by crawling, it's great, I'm also able to stand up on my own, but sometimes I fall down and bump my head and cry but my mammy and daddy kiss it all better, I think maybe I'll walk soon but not before a few more bumps on my head....
I'll keep ya all posted, right now I'm looking forward to Christmas and some guy called Santa Claus visiting? he sounds like a generous kinda guy.

4/22/2004 - Well,
Its been a good 2 weeks getting to know everyone around me. I went back to see my doctor again 10 days ago and I weighed 8lbs! and I have grown half an inch! its all my mam and dads good work. I have to go back to my doctor in six weeks, at that stage I have to get my first vaccinations, wonder what thats like? Anyway, my mammy takes me on walks every other day because the weather is so good. Sometimes we go in to see my dad at work at the end of his day, and sometimes we meet him for lunch, its great fun.
I will keep you all up to date as time goes by, thanks for checking in......

4/5/2004 - Today I went outside with my mammy and Daddy for the first time. We went to see my Pediatrician, she takes care of me and makes sure I don't get sick.
Firstly, because it was such a cold day, my mammy put about 5 layers of clothes on me, I couldn't move! but it was a good idea because it was soooo cold outside! We took the short 5 minute ride in our car, I sat in my infant car seat in the back and my mammy sat beside me in the back to make sure I was ok, I think she thought I might have been a little nervous, but I was doing ok.
When we got to the doctors the nurse weighed me and measured me. I have put on an astonishing 11 ounces in 5 days! I now weigh 7lbs 3oz, the nurse and doctor were very pleased! I tried to tell them it was because my mammy and daddy take good care of me but I couldn't get the words out.
My doctor says I'm doing great and I don't have to see her again for another whole week! Then we left the doctors and went home in our car, when I got home, I just fell asleep, it was a very exhausting trip.
I promise to keep you up to date on my visits......
