Well, Christmas cards are mostly mailed, outside lights are almost complete, and some gifts have been wrapped. I've accepted that nothing gets completely done when there is a newborn and a toddler in the family, but that's ok. I will be finishing my shopping tomorrow, my Mom and I will make a day of it. Chris and Catie are doing their shopping together while Owen hopefully sleeps through it all with me and my Mom. Catie is getting excited about Santa as she watches all the Christmas specials on tv, thank goodness for TIVO. She has also been talking about who is coming to her birthday party and how we will have balloons, funny. Her enthusiasim is contagious! We plan to drive through the Dove Street lights Saturday night, oh will she love that and I bet Owen will just gaze. He goes into a trance when I put him in front of our Christmas Tree, he just stares at the white lights in awe. Owen's now wearing size 1 diapers and 0-3m clothes at 6 weeks old. He's starting to get chubby, yay! My guess is he's about 8lbs. 7oz, based on gaining an ounce a day. He gives us a few smiles and sleep is getting better. I uploaded a few new pics...

Whew time is flying! Catie will be 3 in two weeks and Owen is almost 5 weeks old. We went to see Santa and had a family pic taken since Catie wasn't convinced to get too close to him. The picture actually came out pretty good and is our first as a family of four. Catie had a blast at the parade and got way too much candy. We didn't get a chance to see the Dove Street Christmas lights, hopefully this weekend along with trying a new local lunch cafe. I uploaded some pics...

Owen update: He's about 8lbs at 5 weeks, eating almost 4oz, sleeping in 3 hr. blocks of time. He still insists on sleeping on his boppy pillow in the pack n play. He's in our room of course since he feeds 3 times a night still. Guess he just needs time...

We had a great weekend and Catie loved the Beaufort Parade. We keep forgetting to take the camera, but the local newspaper did take a pic of Chris & Catie together at the Bluffton Parade. Tonight we're dropping off our angel tree gifts and taking Catie (and Owen) to see Santa. Catie keeps talking about sitting on his lap, we shall see what she decides. If we have time tonight we are also going to take them for a drive on Dove Street, it's famous for it's Christmas lights display. Catie LOVES lights so that is sure to be a big hit with her! Here's a few pics...
