was due today! We guess he would have weighed 7lbs. 12oz. He will be one month old tomorrow, time goes way too fast! I tried taking Christmas pics and well
someone wouldn't cooperate, guess who? Catie has been great, but she is needing some quality activity and tv does not count. We went to the Bluffton Christmas Parade last weekend and plan to see the Beaufort Parade on Sunday. We need to do some shopping this weekend and hit the library too. Oh and Owen had his first real bath today, he screamed of course! I uploaded some pics...
We had a great Thanksgiving at my parent's house. Bob, Melissa, & Sophia flew in for the week and the kids had a blast! We also celebrated my 32nd birthday, it was fabulous! So now we've been getting ready for Christmas; lights, tree, & stockings are all up! We have plenty of shopping to do, but know what we are giving which is half the challenge. Catie is getting excited and starting to understand the concept of Santa. She has asked to sit on his lap and told me she was going to ask Santa for a camera, can't wait to see if she really does. Owen had another weigh in, he was 7lbs. 8.5oz (4 weeks old). He is off the NeoSure and taking about 2.5-3oz. every 2 hours. I will get some pics uploaded...
As many of you know...Owen Marlo Trotter has arrived!! Owen weighed in at 6lbs. 2 oz. and 20in., great size for being just 35 weeks gestation. He spent 3 days in the NICU under the oxygen hood, but came home with us just perfect! We are now just trying to fatten him up with an extra calorie formula since he left the hospital weighing 5lbs. 14oz. and was down 2oz. at his appt. yesterday. So his job is to eat, eat, and eat some more right now. Catie is just loving him up and being such a great big sister! Here's a few pics, more to come...
UPDATE: Owen weighed in at 6lbs. 2oz. at his appt. today. He is back to his birth weight, which is great news! We have another weight check in 2 weeks, grow baby grow!!
