We finally got our internet back up and running, almost a week with interrupted & spotty service has been torture! lol It all ended today with a new modem, thank goodness. Father's Day was wonderful of course not only because I have such a great Dad, but also because so does Catie! We are very blessed. We celebrated Chris' 33rd Birthday yesterday, he took the day off so we could all three be together! He got his new Heli from Catie & I for his birthday which of course made him very happy. Our next baby appt. is July 5th and we're hoping to get a peek at the baby's gender. I will be 17 weeks at that appt. so we have a good chance if we get an ultrasound!! I am in the process of uploading pics...

We had a great beach & pool weekend! Saturday Chris & I took Catie to the pool. She is getting braver and going out in the deep end, with her tube of course. Maybe it is time for swim floaties? Sunday we went to pool again and met friends down there, the kids had a blast! We then we over to meet my folks at the beach. Catie built a sandcastle with Pop Pop and as she says, "Pop Pop fun!" My Mom made us a great home cooked dinner, it is always so much better when someone else cooks. Catie loved her ice cream cone dessert and of course fell asleep on the way home. We are borrowing my folks' camera for a bit so here's some pics!

Well, Cate had her first fever and so I guess she does get sick. UGH. Yesterday at my neighbors she didn't want to play and she felt warm. Her temp was 102.8 and of course she does not do medicine well, but we got 1/2 tsp motrin in her and she dropped to 101. We go home and she felt warm at 8pm, she was 103.3 and we were really worried. So I called Dr. and he said try to get 1.5 tsp meds in her, we got in 1/2 and she fell asleep. So I go up at 11:30pm to check on her and she is laying in bed burning up wide awake moaning. I feel her and she felt like she was on fire. Chris brought her down we took her temp 3 times: 106.3, 106.8, 106.3, omg he was throwing on clothes to go to the ER while I paged the dr. He said give her 1.5tsp right now and track her temp every 5 min. and if at 30min her temp wasn't breaking he would meet us at the ER. Thank God her fever went right down so fast and within 30min she was down to 102. She was up and acting normal within 10 min. and we put her to bed. Chris checked her at 1am and 3 am and her temp was 101, whew. She slept in till 8:15 this morning and was 102 so I gave her meds and she is down to 100.6 thank goodness. Motrin is now a lifesaver in my book. Ok a few pics from a healthy day on Sunday...
