Stories We welcomed in the holiday season with the Bluffton Christmas Parade this past Saturday. The kids were both feeling under the weather, especially Owen, but the day was still fun! We put the tree up with just lights this year since we know Owen will be investigating, it's simple and surprisingly nice. The stockings and wreath are hung above the fireplace and the house smells like cinnamon. ahhhh. We were going to do the outside lights today, but it is actually too cold for our liking, maybe tomorrow. Here's some new pics with more to come!
We have so much to be thankful for, especially for our two healthy children. Owen just turned one and did well with all his vaccinations, didn't even cry, but was a bit angry with me. He weighs 23.3lbs, is 29.5in tall, standing well, crawling fast, taking a few steps and is still sporting his reddish hair. I do see it slowly going blonde though, much like Catie's. She is doing great and is excited for all the holidays and of course her 4th Birthday! I need to schedule her a dentisit appt. and a 4 year well check up. I hesitate to tell her as she was quite clear that she was MAD about the flumist she had to recieve at our last appt. Oh well, knock on wood for the good health to continue as I feel a cold looming. Happy Thanksgiving 2008!!
Counting down to Owen's 1st Birthday!! He's on the verge of walking, has 7 teeth, says Dada, Mama and I swear I hear him say Dog. lol His hair is still reddish, he screeches like a dinosaur, he loves to eat, he's down to taking just one bottle, speed crawls, Catie is his biggest fan, laughs at everything and reminds us everyday how blessed we are to have him.
