We had a nice week with Chris' family. The best part was the beach day and the evening we went out on Olivia & Nolan's boat! It was so much fun!! A huge thank you to Jim for mowing our yard and moving a ton of plants. We also have been enjoying our new fenced in back yard. It is so nice for Catie and the dogs. Plus I found the best poopie scooper at Pet Smart invented by a kid, hey it's the small things that count! I have a gazillion pics to upload thanks to Jim the photographer, thank you for taking that responsibility off of me for the week!!
We had our 6 week Ultrasound today and everything looks great! Our lil one's heart was beating away, we are so relieved. Catie got to come into the u/s room with Chris and she was so good. She was real quiet and just whispered baby. The nurse took 5 vials of blood to test for all prenatal issues and I got a script for prenatals that include DHA Omega-3 fatty acids, which is new since we've had Catie. That added ingredient helps brain and eye development. I have had bouts of morning sickness and will be adding B6 to my daily regimen to help ease that along with my prescription meds. The biggest symptom I have is pure exhaustion, I am quite the party pooper right now, but hey I'm pregnant! lol Here's a couple of pics we got today of our lil one!
We had a wonderful Easter! Catie got a basket of goodies from both sides of the family and we had a delicious dinner at my folks condo. We took a short walk to the beach to fly Cate's kite, but she would rather play in the sand! lol Videos and pics are uploaded...
I am feeling much more tired with this pregnancy than I did with Catie, maybe it's just because I have a 2yr. old to chase around, lol. This morning my nose is looking puffy and wider, Chris even agreed. Ok maybe we're nuts. Everything is going well and we have an U/S set for April 18th. We are so excited!!
