March is here and hopefully spring is too! Catie is now 26 Months and growing like a weed! She has grown taller and starting to lean out some, down a couple of pounds. She measures 28 lbs as of last week. Her favorite thing to do is to play outside, we have FINALLY put her playhouse together and it is out in the yard. Next, we are going to paint her swingset/climber to match the playhouse, it should look nice! We had a nice weekend, I got a lot of shopping done and we took Catie to pick Daffodils at the Pinckey Colony Fields, hopefully we got a few good pictures.
The weather has been beautiful lately, hoping it stays that way, come on groundhog!! We've been playing outside at parks & playgrounds and hope to break ground on our new fence in April or May. Catie has been loving all the fun and especially kicking/throwing balls around. We swear she is destined to be a soccer star or maybe a ball player, lol! I found out our YMCA has spring soccer for 3yr. olds so next Feb/March we will sign her up, it should be crazy fun! My Mom & I enjoyed a spring craft show last weekend. My folks got Catie a few new boutique outfits, I found her a new wooden name puzzle & art/cooking apron, and she got a hooded beach towel from her Great Pop Pop. It was a great day to have just with my Mom! Ok, some pics and video!
It's been a loooooong week, maybe because it's tax season, blah. Well, we decided not to enroll Catie in preschool, I think we will wait till next year since she has a late birthday anyways. We had a nice Valentine's Day, Catie got lots of gifts & cards from family. We went out to dinner together and I even got some beautiful roses. This weekend I am looking forward to going to the spring craft show with my mom, it should be nice and I hope to find some things I couldn't get at the winter show.
