Cate is 21 Months today and definately in toddler mode!! She is talking non-stop, singing, climbing, laughing, chasing, learning, & growing. Did I mention snuggling?? Oh she is such a cuddle bug right now. Her latest stats are an educated guess as she is a bit busy to try to measure with any accuracy. She's somewhere around 34in.tall, 26 lbs., fits a size 5 shoe and is wearing 12-18 months summer clothes. Her vocabulary is a long growing list that now includes many 2-4 word phrases. The best part though is her "farrah fawcet" hair and her smile that lights up a room. Ok, enough sappiness, here's some pics....
Well, the floors are in, some of the furniture has arrived so our livingroom is slowly coming together. Catie is enjoying pushing her toys over the floor since she can go super fast now! She put her own shoes on the other day and has been talking in phrases a lot more. She has also begun a lot of imaginative play with her dolls, stuffed animals etc. I uploaded a few new pics and a video.
Oh TGIF!!!! This has to be the best Friday ever, our floor installers have arrived and are working as I type. We are so excited, the only tricky part is confining Cate to the sunroom, but she has been such a trooper! This weekend is filled with fun activities. This evening we're going to the Bluffton block party on Calhoun St. There will be food, crafts, live music, art, puppet shows and the historic stores are all open. My Mom is going with us and we hope my Dad can meet up with us later. Saturday we're going to the Food Fest on the Island, it will an afternoon filled with food, spirits, music, and children activities like moon bounce, face painting, and inflatable slides.
