The last few weeks have been busy and I have come down with the flu, yes, the real flu! The test for the flu, which I won't torture you with here, should be banned. It was horrid. Anyways, I'm slowly getting back in the groove just in time for Valentine's Day! We plan on trying out the new restaurant Nick & Jim's BBQ with our little Valentine, Catie. She's been caught standing on her own a few times in the past days so we know it's just a matter of time for walking to soon follow. She's popped another tooth next to the two on the bottom so that makes seven pearly whites counting the four she has up top. Her hair is growing wildly as is her personality as she charms us everyday. Oh and we've made the huge decision for me to be a Stay-At-Home-Mom next year, I am thrilled beyond disbelief, but it seems we shall work out the finances. I am going to be tutoring online in the evenings and continuing my ebay sales, hoping to find my niche. Chris' grooming business has been real good to us lately and with a few cuts in our budget we should squeak by or maybe we'll just be eating a lot of mac-n-cheese! Anyways, I added a few pics of our little Valentine...

Thirteen months today!! Officially a "toddler" by the definition of the word and not the actual toddling part. Catie has much more interest in talking, saying Dada, Mom, Mama, Hi, Hi dada, Cat and other phrases we believe we hear. She is always talking or using her singing voice, it's very cute. Catie still quite the little charmer, waving and saying hi to everyone we meet or even just walk by. Her hair is growing so much and now she can have a little pigtail sticking straight up, too cute. I posted a few new pics...

We're getting back into the swing of things and returning to our normal schedule, which is nice. The weather has been so beautiful, most days near 70 and sunny, so we have been really enjoying the sunroom. Catie is almost walking, she'll take a stretching step back and forth between us. She really wants to walk so it's probably just a matter of days now. Cate's mastered going up and down the steps and it's her favorite pastime right now. She'll go all the way up, turn around backwards and come down, then go right back up, silly girl! Oh we have a toddler on our hands!!
