Happy 1st Birthday Catie!!! We love you!! Today we head to the Dr. for her 1 year appt. We're excited to see how much she has grown! We plan on lunch afterwards if she isn't too tired.
ETA:After a good nap (for all of us) we had cake and Cate opened her present. her Dr. appt. went well. She weighed 21lb. 10.5 oz. and was 29in. long. Sounds perfect to us! Oh it is such a bittersweet day....
Christmas Day was so peaceful this year. Chris & I got up a good half hour before Catie and spent some time together. I planned out breakfast while he got the video camera ready and then we heard some happy squeals!! I think we have the happiest morning child in the world...lol Catie crawled right to the tree & presents once we brought her downstairs. She did a pretty good job of opening all her gifts from Santa with a little help from us. We played a little, called family to wish them all the Merriest Christmas and then sat down to a yummy breakfast! Catie took a very long nap and so did Dadddy after eating bacon, eggs, sausage, and toast. So I continued my gift wrapping for round 2 of Christmas that we will Celebrate on New Year's Eve with family. Oh I uploaded a gazillion new pics and some video that the quality isn't so great, but Enjoy!!
Only 3 days till Christmas and we're all excited for Santa to arrive!! Catie has already begun getting gifts from various friends & family. She is quite amused by all of the ribbons and wrapping paper! Her first Christmas is followed by her First Birthday on the 28th so she'll be enjoying the gifts way too much.
