Cate has officially reached a milestone; she's one month old and it was the fastest month of our lives. She's starting to hold her head up for a minute or two, she makes direct eye contact with both of us and sometimes she will follow us around the room with her eyes. Cate is quite the kicker as you may notice she is often missing a sock in some of her pictures...lol We have begun her on number two bottle nipples, she sleeps in her crib almost always and has been sleeping for about 4-5 hour stretches of time. Cate is 4 weeks old today! We had professional portraits taken of her yesterday and will have them on February 16th. Cate slept through each picture and screamed in between when we tried to get her eyes open...lol She has been kicking a lot, working on finding her hands, sticking her tongue out, and drum roll please....sleeping in her own crib! Cate has been so good about the transition of sleeping in her own room and this allows Chris and I to get some more peaceful rest. Well, today Cate is 3 weeks old and does she have a personality! She's been awake a lot more during the day and the nights have been ok. Some nights are great and others are just plain crazy~lol! Cate's still being a great little traveler as we are usually out and about shopping, dining, and visiting. Oh and yes, we bought a Honda Odyssey Minivan...go ahead and laugh, we had a good chuckle about being officially grown up. So life has been good to us these last few weeks, despite the sleep deprivation... As usual, we posted new pics of the love of our life!
