Cate is officially 2 weeks and 1 day old, gosh time is already going way too fast! She has found her tongue, given us a few smiles, and is sleeping in good 4-5 hour blocks of time at night. So either this is the calm before the storm or we've created a really good child. Cate had her two week check-up and is now up to a solid 8 lbs and 20 3/4 inches tall. She is already losing her newborn look and becoming our baby, it's bittersweet. We added some new pics for ya' all to check out...
Our first week has been filled with a lot of visits from friends and family. Cate has been so easy going and has traveled a lot already in just ten days. She loves shopping, eating out, riding in the car, going to Mommy's school, seeing all the dogs at Daddy's grooming shop, and visiting Mom Mom and Pop Pop's condo. We are blessed to have such a good little traveler! Today Cate will be going to the beach for the first time and we are all very excited! We'll post pictures of our seashore adventure, be sure to check out all the new pics of our little peanut!
Catherine Ruth Trotter has arrived! Our Cate was born on Tuesday, December 28th at 9:12pm. We ended up having her via c-section, but she came out beautiful and healthy. The pregnancy, labor, and birth all went well! Cate has been so good, easy going (just like her Daddy) and eating great. We truly have been blessed with such a great baby! She's making it very easy to want another child right away...lol She has had so many visitors, phone calls, and gifts arrive for her. Our families are arriving Saturday and Sunday to meet Cate.
