September 21, 2007

Okay, the good days are over.  The aches, pains and pressure are back with a vengance.  I had a prenatal visit today.  I thought I had lost my mucus plug this morning (sorry if that's too much info for some of you) and when I got to the doctor this afternoon she said I had started to dialate (1cm) and the babies had dropped considerably, too.  I was measuring 48 now I'm measuring 45.  So there are 3 factors against me holding out until the 4th.  She made sure I left with her pager and cell # and said to be looking out for my water breaking.  I hope I can make it but I'm just not sure.  I'm doing everything I can to keep these babies inside and give them a chance to grow.  It's out of my hands.

Gabrielle came down with the croup Wednesday night.  She had a fever for a couple days and that icky seal bark.  She's seems to be feeling better this afternoon.  Poor thing has been really pitiful.

I had a conversation with Jackson tonight about why we don't say "Butthead."  Where did that word come from?  It's kind of hard not to laugh when he comes up with stuff like that.

Daddy is leaving tomorrow night to head back to GA.  He's been here an entire month and the thought of him leaving is enough to put me into labor.  To say I'm sad he's leaving does not even scrape the surface of my feelings.  He's been so incredible and I COULD NOT have made it without him.  I am so blessed to have a father like my Daddy.  I'm 32 years old and he still treats me like his "baby girl."  Some things will NEVER change... Thank God.

Today was another good day.  I'm still feeling pretty good.  Contractions are staying down which is always a good thing.  This morning the kids and I sat around the table and had a little "art and craft" time.  We colored pictures and played with stickers.  They enjoyed it.  We also spent some time outside playing.  Actually, I sat, they played!  I'm trying not to overdo it but when I feel good it's hard not to take advantage of it.  The kids have school tomorrow and I think I'll spend that time resting.  I'm very sore.  My belly aches and there is so much pressure I feel like I'll pop.  My skin is also so sensitive on my belly.  I can't stand for the kids to touch it.  Of course, they want to "waller" (good ole' southern term) all over me and it drives me nuts.

The kids are really into dancing right now.  Jackson has become a little breakdancer.  I don't know where he's seen these moves but he's all over the place.  "WATCH THE MOVES, DOLL!"  If I hear that once I've heard it 1,000 times.  Gabrielle says "Watch 'dis" and she'll try to jump around but her little feet never leave the ground.  Connor will bend over and touch his head to the ground and smile real big.  They all think they can dance.  It's very cute.  I'm trying my best to get Gabrielle to play with "girlie" things.  She will not play with a doll if her life depended on it.  I'll try to get her to wrap the baby, push the baby in the stroller, etc...  She would rather have a sword, truck or gun.  Well, at least she will wear jewelery, hair bows and frilly clothes.  If I put a doll in her crib she pitches it before I get to the door.  haha  There is no pursuading her to do anything she doesn't want to.  Papa said it right, "She's either going to be the Captain of the team or she's not playing!"

Happy Birthday to Mommy!  Today is my 32nd birthday.  It's been really nice.  I've had lots of phone calls and well wishes.  I am very blessed.  Brad and the kids got me a Ice Cream Cake, Starbucks gift card and pedicure gift card.  As you can see by my picture, things are progessing and I'm quite a sight to see.  Who wouldn't want a 52" waist like that??? haha  I miscalculated my countdown... I'm 2 weeks and 5 days today.  Almost there.

It's been so beautiful this week.  We've not had the air on for the past 4 days.  Today the low was 42 and only got to maybe 62.  It's so pretty, crisp and cool.  I love this time of year in Indy.

September 13, 2007

Not a lot has changed as far as the babies and I go.  We've really been working on "nesting" the last couple days.  The nursery is done and all the car seat, swings and bouncy covers have been washed.  We're working on preparing bottles and that's pretty much the last step.  Putting all the sleepers in the drawers and smelling the sweet blankies really has gotten me excited.  I can't wait to meet these two guys.  I'm so ready to hold them and kiss their little sweet cheeks.  Jackson, Gabrielle and Connor are ready, too.  They run around the house pointing at all the baby items and then my belly.  Thanks for all the prayers.  3 weeks but who's counting???

September 9, 2007

Just a quick progress note.  I was back in the hospital on Thursday and came home on Saturday morning.  I could not get the contractions slowed down Thursday evening.  So the doctor sent me to the hospital.  My cervix is still closed.  They have increased my medication in my pump and that's keeping me under my threshold of 8 contractions an hour.  Today I had 13 in an hour but gave myself more meds and got them down to 7.

I'm not doing anything in the house.  I stay in the bed or on the recliner and that's my life.  Daddy, Brad and Nancy have been doing all the work.  My best friend ever, Susan, is coming the end of the month when Daddy leaves to help me out for 5 days.  I'm so thankful.

September 6, 2007

The past week has been pretty uneventful.  I'm still on bedrest.  Still having lots of contractions.  I'ts getting really uncomfortable.  My nurse is continuing to come out and check on me and increase my meds as needed.  The shaking I had problems with has really slowed down.  My body is getting more used to it.  The kids are finally all healthy.  Nancy (my mother in law) is here helping out.  The kids love her to death and they really gravitate towards her.  She's great with entertaining the children while I rest and while Daddy works on house chores.

This afternoon I do have a u/s appointment at 3pm.  I'm anxious to see what positions they are in.  I believe they are both head down now.

Gabrielle and Connor both are really starting to talk.  Gabrielle says everything.  Connor is finally trying to repeat words and he's working on toning down the whining.  I'm so proud of him.

September 2, 2007

Not much new with me.  I'm still averaging anywhere from 2-8 (or more) contractions an hour.  They are starting to move into my lower back, too.  I got out of the house Saturday.  What a treat!  Brad took me to WalMart and pushed me around in a wheelchair just to grab a few groceries.  That's about all I could handle.  Oh, I was able to manage eating a banana split from Dairy Queen!  haha  Mostly I just sit in the recliner or lay in bed.

Daddy and Brad are working so hard.  I'm starting to think that I'll miss this "gig" when I recover.  Daddy does all the laundry, feeds the kids, changes diapers, dresses them, puts them down for naps, keeps the kitchen clean as well as the house.  Brad is doing a ton of duties too once he gets home from work.  Tonight he was steam cleaning the carpets.  He tends to nest when it's close to time for the babies to arrive.  I remember the night before Gabrielle and Connor came he cleaned all the baseboards in the house.  Too bad I have to be in labor to get that stuff done, haha!  All jokes aside, it's great having help but I'm anxious to be MOMMY/DOLL again and take care of my family.  It's my job and I miss it.

Brad took Jackson out last night for Boy's night.  They went to an IU football game in Bloomington.  They had a blast.  Jackson came home telling me about the football adults (he meant football players) and how they run really fast and he was yelling "Go Hoosiers!"  They had so much fun.  I'm glad they had some time to enjoy themselves.  Brad caught a Tshirt that came his way.  He said he got carried away and jumped horizontal in the air so high that he landed two rows back on top of a grumpy old man.  Everyone was laughing so hard and said, "Man you deserve that shirt, great jump!"

I think the stomach virus has finally left our house.  Two days after Gabrielle was sick, Connor got sick.  Next day, Daddy got it.  After that Gabrielle threw up again and the following day Connor decided he would, too.  Then it was Jackson's turn.  It was lots of vomit and runny poop all week!!  Sorry ya'll missed it.  wink

Brad's Mom is coming tomorrow.  She's been on standby in Kentucky at her sisters house until we gave her the ok to come up.  We couldn't take the chance on her getting sick.

Love you all!

August 29, 2007

My home healthcare nurse, Kelly, came out yesterday evening and got me hooked up to my pump.  It's really small and hasn't been in my way.  We are working on adjusting the right amount of "Terb" to keep my contractions down.  Last night I was having 14 in an hour and they were really uncomfortable.  So they increased my meds and it's helping.  We still have to get it exactly right.

Mom left to head back to GA.  She was really sad to go but she had done her part and she needed to rest, too.  Daddy is here and doing everything.  Between him and Brad I'm very well taken care of.  My girlfriends have notified me that they will be coming in on different shifts when my family leaves to help out.  Thanks ya'll!

Connor woke last night vomiting.  He threw up for a few hours and he seems better today.  I guess Jackson and I are next.  When it rains it pours, huh?

August 28, 2007

Well, it just goes to show that every pregnancy really is so different.  Gabrielle and Connor gave me no problems.  My body just can't hold out as well for Brady and Cooper.  The boys are doing great but I'm still contracting like crazy.  I spent  yet another night in the hospital this week.  That makes 3 nights out of 7.  Today I have a home health care nurse coming to give me a Terbutaline Pump.  It's kind of like an Insulin pump.  I'll be monitored for contractions via the phone line twice a day and administer my meds myself according to the home healthcare nurses.  This should keep me out of the hospital some the next 5 weeks.  I had to go to the doctor again this morning and get a fetal fiber "something test" (a non stress test) to see if I'm prone to go into labor in the next two weeks.  If it comes back positive I'll be on strict bedrest with  bathroom privledges only.  Please come back negative.  I'm on bedrest now but can still move about and do simple things.

In the midst of all this Gabrielle got a stomach virus, she managed to vomit all over the house at least6 times.  This all of course happened while I was in the hospital.  My great friends came to the rescue once again to help Mom with the kids.  Kate took the 8:30am-Noon shift then went to the store for us, Heidi took the Noon-2pm shift, Jamie came at 4pm and finally Lissa came at 6pm and stayed to help get them bathed and to bed.  What would I do without ya'll?  Lissa also picked me up from the hospital last night and brought me home.  Next will be the rest of my family getting sick along with everyone who came to help.  I'm so sorry ya'll!!!!

Daddy also came to the rescue last night.  He's here for a while to help out.  Mom leaves to get back to GA tomorrow and Nancy is coming once the virus has made it's way through the family.  Something like that would have her down and out for weeks.

I love you all.  Thanks for all the prayers and support.  Brady and Cooper are worth every little bit of this chaos!

August 23, 2007

Well, what an eventful couple of days.  On Tuesday I went to my prenatal visit.  I told her that I'd been really feeling terrible (vomiting & dizzy) and having so many contractions.  By Tuesday afternoon I was in the hospital for observation and to get the contractions under control.  Once I got on the monitors hooked up we could see that I was contracting every 7-9 minutes.  She changed my medication and that's really slowed down the contractions.  I spent two nights in the hospital with only bathroom privledges to get up.  The contractions are under control now but not gone.  I'm scheduled for a c-section October 4th.  I'm on "bed rest as much as possible."

My Mom and Larry are here helping out for a little while.  But she's really limited with her neck.  Brad has taken on a huge load.  He's doing so much and balancing work.  I'm very proud of him.  Please continue to pray for us.  We've got 5 more weeks to go then we'll meet our precious new baby boys.

August 19, 2007

The day started out with breakfast.  You may say that sounds uneventful but in this house my family was beside themselves that it wasn't a poptart or cold cereal.  haha After breakfast we headed off to church where I waddled around allowing everyone to gawk at the huge pregnant woman.  All jokes aside, the sermon was great and very refreshing and I got lots of hugs and support from my church family.  My friend, Becky, offered to bring us a meal this week.  What a blessing!  I am so grateful for my friends.  After church, we went to lunch then home for naps.  I decided to cook dinner tonight.  Now I know why I have not been cooking much.  It really wears me out.   The family enjoyed it and were so glad it wasn't sandwiches!

Tuesday is my prenatal visit.  I am hoping for an exact date on my c-section.  Please keep us in your prayers... we really need them.

August 18, 2007

To those of you who wonder "How are you doing?" let's just say it's 4:20am and I'm updating the website.  Does that tell you anything?  Sleeping is a thing of the past.  If I do fall asleep for more than 2 hours at a time I wake up feeling like someone used my belly as a punching bag!  Oh the joys of pregnancy.

We had a birthday party yesterday for my friend Melanie's 2 year old.  The kids had a blast.  Gabrielle ate more at the party than she's eaten her entire life.  I couldn't get over it.  She normaly is a poor eater.  We need to make everyday some kind of party to get her to eat.  Connor played so well with the other kids.  He stuck right in there with Jackson.  Every once in a while he would come over to me wave and flash those big brown eyes then go back to whatever he was doing.  Jackson found a full armor to play with including sword, shield, and hat.  He was set for the rest of the party.  Gabrielle stayed right by me not venturing too far which is right where I like her to be.

After the party we took naps and waited for Daddy to come home.  Poor man was exhausted.  He had to go into work Friday at 2am and then work a full day.  He managed to put on his happy face and show complete excitment for the evenings plans I had made.  We went to the northside for a Mother's of Multiples sale.  It was open to Mom's of Multiples Friday night and then to the public on Saturday.  I got some great stuff for Brady and Cooper.  Tons of little matching outfits.  That's something I didn't have was any matching outfits for them.  I also found this little $4 Spiderman costume complete with hat and gloves.  I thought Jackson would enjoy playing dress-up with it so I bought it.  Little did I know that a costume would change a child's life.  He got home put that costume on and played superhero ALL NIGHT.  He made us come to the bathroom and look at him in the full length mirror at least 5 times.  Before bed he placed it on his side table (so as to wake up wearing it) and said "This is the best thing I ever in my whole life!"  Brad and I just melted as our superhero went to bed with a big grin on his face.

After the sale, we went to dinner at Chili's.  As any parent knows sometimes going out for dinner can be a nightmare but last night couldn't have gone smoother.  We all had a great dinner and enjoyed each minute of one another.  We just happened to of picked a place to eat in the Babies R Us shopping center (wonder how that happened) and so after dinner we walked over to look and I got a bunch of hangers.  Saturday I'm going to start hanging and organizing clothes.  Brad's brother, Aaron, purchased two crib mattresses for us this week.  I have one crib together and all the bedding is up.  It's adorable.  My Mom bought us another crib and it should be here next week.  Thanks my sweet family.

I suddenly can not wait for these boys to get here.  I am so excited and ready to meet them.  Connor, Gabrielle and Jackson are also anxiously awaiting their arrival.  Jackson asks me all the time "Have the babies come out yet?"  Very soon my baby... very soon!

My Mom and Larry are coming to vist on Wednesday.  Jackson is beside himself.  I sure wish he knew his days of the week because he's driving me nuts asking if they are almost here.  Larry is staying until the weekend and Mom will stay a week.  She's still in her original neck brace.  The doctor tells her the break is healing but not healed.  It's been a very long recovery road for her and she's still not close to the end.  Please continue to pray for her.  As far as my help for the babies, she'll come visit but unfortunatley she can't lift or do any of the things I need her to do and she wants to do.  That just kills her and I'm so sorry for it.  My Daddy is planning on coming to my rescue.  He is a GREAT help and will take care of the kitchen, meals and my older children.  He knows what they like and how our routine goes.  I just need about 4 weeks of help and then I can make it on my own.

August 15, 2007

I'm getting worse and worse about keeping up with the website.  I apologize to those of you who look forward to posts about the kids.  I hardly have time to check email.  The pregnancy is going great.  I'm 28 weeks measuring 39 weeks!  Brady and Cooper weigh about 2.5 pounds each.  They are growing just fine and are healthy.  My contractions have started to pick up so my OB has increased my procardia to 20mg every 6 hours around the clock.  I go back to see her next week and I'm hoping for an exact date for my C-section.  Although I'm not sure if I'll make it to that date or not.  For the boys sake I hope I do.  They need all the time they can to grow and be strong.

Over the weekend we had lots of company.  Brad's parents, Aunt, Cousin and his wife and two kids came to visit from Kentucky.  We started the weekend off with a big cookout Friday night and let the kids play in the slip n slide.  Saturday we went to the water park and Saturday night we hit the Indiana State Fair.  We didn't get home until after midnight Saturday night.   We had a blast!  Brad's Dad preached at our church Sunday and that was a real treat, too.  I was very proud of him.

Jackson, Gabrielle and Connor started "school" this week.  They go to mother's morning out Tues/Thur 9am-1pm.  I met my girlfriends at Panera for a cup of coffee then came home and worked on the house.  It was wonderful having time to myself.

Gabrielle is as fiesty as ever.  Last night she got upset with Jackson and took a chunk out of his arm with her teeth.  She bit the fire out of him.  Needless to say she got in trouble and it took us a long time to settle Jackson down.  By the time it was over they were kissing each other and laughing.  We had to explain to Jackson that he had to forgive her just like Jesus forgives us when we are bad.  She's talking so much I can't believe it.  It's the cutest thing ever.  Jackson teaches her all kinds of new words everyday.  Connor is still trying but not quite there yet with the vocabulary.  He's still my little lover.  He's so precious and just melts my heart with every breath he takes.  Last night was his first night with out a passy.  He made it just fine and I'm glad to be getting over it.

August 7, 2007

This has been such a great 4 days for us.  My Dad and Uncle Norris came to visit on Friday evening.  They stayed until today.  We took them downtown for a tour, to Mug N Bun for the best peanut butter milkshake of thier lives, and to the Racetrack to see the famous bricks... we took a tour around the track and Jackson even got to drive a little bit.  He thought it was very cool!  I had a great visit with them and the kids loved it as well.

Today was my prenatal visit.  I'm 27 weeks measuring as if I was 39 weeks!!!  Let's just say I'm pretty big!  I had a ultrasound and Brady and Cooper looked great.  Brady is head down and weighs 2.5lbs and Cooper is head up and weighs 2.9lbs.  I also had to drink that yummy orange sugar drink  (gag) and get my bloodwork taken.  AND I took a tour of the maternity ward.  It's beautiful and I think we'll be very comfortable.  The nurses were so sweet and I actually got the name and number of a nurse who is interested in "night nursing" for me two nights a week.  My NICU nurse friend, Lisa, is going to take one night also.  That will give me 3 nights a week of blissfull, uninterupted sleep!!!  I'm going to LOVE it.

I'm back in the dillema of needing a crib.  The lady that was going to give me hers backed out.  Soooo, I'm searching near and far for an affordable crib... i.e. cheap or free!

Brad's parents are coming into town Thursday and his cousin and his family are coming in Friday.  They are all coming for the great Indiana State Fair!  We are so excited.  We look forward to the fair every year.  This will be our last fair and we're going to make it the best.  I plan on eating as many corndogs, hot buttery ears of corn and candy apples as I can hold.  haha

Please be in prayer for my cousin, Stacy.  She is 22 years old and has been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer (Adenocarcinoma).  She sees a GYN that specializes in Oncology next Monday, 13th.  We'll see what the next step is from there.

July 31, 2007

Today was a full day.  The babies slept late (10:30am) and I had to wake them up!!!  We got dressed and went to the Danville Water Park to meet our friends for Mom's Group.  The kids had a great time and actually, so did I.  It was just constant counting "There's 1 where are the other 2?"  But we managed and it was a great day for the pool.  We got home around 2pm and everyone went down for naps.  After naps the kids played in the back yard while I got supper going.  Brad stopped by the store for me on his way home from work.  We had BBQ chicken on the grill, corn on the cob (the twins love it), roasted potatoes and onions, fresh steamed broccoli with cheese, pasta salad, cantelope and stewed squash.  I love summer vegetables!!!  After dinner we stayed outside with Brad while he trimmed shrubs and cut grass.  The kids were very worn out from the days activites and ready for bed.

Jackson always wants to pray.  Usually it's very quick, "Thank you Jesus for my food, Amen."  BUT now he's starting to get the hang of how to pray and talk to God.   His latest prayers go as follows, "Thank you Jesus for my Grandpa that he can run fast, Thank you for my Memaw that she can walk, Thank you for my GG that her neck will feel better, Thank you for my Papa that his legs won't hurt, Thank you for Grandma Kathleen that her arm will be better, Thank you for Mommy and the new babies, Thank you for Daddy that he won't have to work, Thank you for Sissy that she'll be nice, and Thank you for Connor that he won't cry, AMEN"  In his prayers thank you means please help...etc.  It's so sweet, Brad and I are just about in tears after he's done.  Gabrielle jabbers her own little prayer and Connor loves to hold hands around the table.  Thank you Jesus for my precious family!

July 26, 2007

As of today Gabrielle and Connor are 20 months old.  It's hard to believe that they will be two years old in 4 short months.  They are growing so fast.  Most of you know that Jackson loves to wear his cowboy boots come rain, shine, snow or heatwave.  Now Gabrielle wants to wear hers and that means Connor wants to wear his, too.  We went to my prenatal visit yesterday with all 3 kids sporting their boots.  Connor is wearing Jackson's 1st pair.  It's really special.

July 25, 2007

Well, we are back from our VA Beach trip and we had a blast.  We had NO AGENDA and it was the perfect weekend.  We stayed up late, slept in late, laid by the beach, took naps, ate icecream and yummy seafood.  It was more than I hoped it would be.  Brad and I knew the kids were in great hands with Lissa and Rachel and had nothing to worry about.  We were glad to see them when we got home BUT I think we both would have stayed another day or two.  A HUGE thanks goes out to Lissa and Rachel for watching the children.  They took them to the pool and ChickFilA and played at the park.  They also managed to get everyone to church ontime Sunday.  Great job, ladies.  They even had spaghetti night at home.  What a mess were their exact words... I just laughed.

I had some contracting issues before we left.  Dr. Case started me on Procardia to stop the contracting and all has been well since then.  I'm doing great, just REALLY uncomfortable.  It's getting hard to get my legs through my pants because bending over is such a challenge.  Ughhh!  Jackson has been such a huge helper.  He picks up all the dirty laundry and carries it to the laundry room.  He cleans up after himself and the babies, too.  I'm so proud of him.  Gabrielle and Connor love to pick up my shirt and say "Baby," then they kiss my belly over and over till it's soaked and then pull my shirt down and say "Bye Bye Baby!"  It's too adorable.  I had a prenatal visit today and when the doctor listened to Brady and Cooper's little hearts all 3 children just stopped and listened.  They thought it was very neat.  Just all of August and September and we'll have our new little boys here to hold in October.

July 17, 2007

I'm so sorry that I have not updated before today.  I've been busy but mostly I just have not felt like being on the computer.  Every free minute I've had I've chosen to rest.  The pregnancy is going great.  NO problems, I just am feeling the effects of having 3 and being pregnant with 2!  I had a prenatal visit last week and everything looks great.  I had another ultrasound; Cooper and Brady are getting so big.  They looked adorable and I just wanted to get my hands on them.  The doctor seems to think the 1st or 2nd week of October will be the boys birthday.  I agree with her.  I would be shocked if I go longer than 35 weeks.  I'm already measuring as if I was 31 weeks... I'm really just 24.

Brad and I went to Babies R Us last week and picked out our bedding.  It's called "Sweet Safari."  You'll have to check it out on their website.  We have not started to do anything in the nursery.  We'll probably get going on it in August.  I got a really good deal on the bedding.  It was $80/each.  But they had a sale 25% off and I got a 10% off multiples discount... so the bedding only cost us $54.00/each!  Brad was very pleased with my efforts.

The kids are doing great.  Gabrielle is talking so much.  First thing in the mornings she wants to show me how she can "jump" in her crib.  I watch and cheer then she says "Tickle, Mommy!"  So I have to tickle her, then she'll get out of bed.  The same routine every morning, it's very cute.  Connor's routine is very similar.  He doesn't jump but he wants me to play "chase" with him in his crib and I tickle him then he'll get up.  Both of them are going to bed around 8pm and sleeping until 10am (or later).  Jackson went through the same stage at their age.  I'm enjoying every hour of blissful rest.  They still take naps, too.

Connor's bandage fell of today.  He was allowed to get a bath today, too.  As soon as breakfast was over they all got in the tub and played.  Connor's healing great and seems to have had no complications and very little pain that he's shown.

Brad and I leave for VA Beach this Friday and return Sunday.  My friends from church, Lissa and Rachel are going to stay with the kids.  They are both single and in their 20's.  They should be nice and tired by the time the weekend is over.  I think the kids will be fine.  Brad is very nervous about leaving but I really feel okay with it.  Please be in prayer that they will have a smooth weekend.

July 10, 2007

Today was Connor's surgery day.  He was a real trooper.  He had nausea and vomiting after from the anesthesia but they gave him some medicine to help.  He's slept most of the day, played a little and ate some supper.  He should be just fine and the surgery went well.

My friend, Robin, came over at 5:30am to watch Jackson and Gabrielle.  I was so thankful to have her.  I was running out of options and certainly didn't want to get them up and take them with us.  I've been so blessed with wonderful friends.

Brady and Cooper have learned how to wiggle and worm their way around such a small space.  I swear I think they are taking turns doing flips.  It's making me nauseated they move so much.

I'm exhausted and ready for bed.  Thanks for all the prayers.

July 6, 2007

Today was a great day for Mommy.  After the kids woke up and had a quick breakfast they went to the babysitters at 10am.  I went for coffee and took the time to sit and read a little, too.  Then I came home and did a little crafting.  After that I grabed a sandwich and went back to pick up the kids.  It was then naptime for us all.  After nap was bath and then dinner.  I had a very easy day and I enjoyed a little time for myself.  The kids had lots of fun playing and enjoyed the change of pace.

As far as baby bedding goes our dilema is solved.  My friend, Lisa, called today and said she had a crib for us.  And the best part, it was free!  A friend of hers is done with it and we'll get it in August.  I'm so glad that Connor doesn't have to come out of his crib now.  It will be less stressful for us all.  Another friend of mine called today and said she was having a yard sale tomorrow and I could come have first pick.  I got a swing, jumperoo and exersaucer for $50.  Lisa is also giving me her jumperoo so each little one will have their own to play in.

It still doesn't seem real to me that we are going to have two more babies!  Some days I think I'm prepared and I can do it.  Others I think, oh my goodness, I'm so not ready!  If I wasn't a little nervous about the entire thing I wouldn't be normal.  I'm so anxious to know what these boys look like.  Will they be blondies like Jackson?  Fiesty as Gabrielle?  Curly hair and big eyes like Connor?  I just can't imagine... I just know I'm so blessed to have 5 children no matter what!

Please pray for Connor.  He will be undergoing a revised circumcision/buried penis surgery on Tuesday.  The surgery itself shouldn't be that bad.  I just worry about him going under for anesthesia.  Brad spoke to a pediatric anesthesiologist today that he has lots of faith in and asked him if he would do the anesthesia.  He agreed so we're in good hands.  Brad will stay in the operating room and hold Connor's hand until Connor is under and then he'll come out and stay with me.  Brad and I both agree that he needs to be Daddy and Husband that day and not Doctor.  He will NOT scrub in for that surgery.  I'm sure things will be fine I just can't wait until it's over.  We have to be at Riley Children's Hospital at 6:30am Tuesday morning.  We should be home by lunch or mid afternoon.
