April 30, 2007

The offer on our house fell through.  We are just going to be patient and wait for the right buyer.  We feel confident they will come along according to God's plan.  Since the weather has been nice, we've had the kids outside everyday.  Today was a rest day for all of us to catch up.  The kids were exhausted from the weekend so we stayed in and relaxed.  Tomorrow, I have a prenatal visit.  Hopefully we'll schedule a date for my next ultrasound and we can find out what these babies are!

Today was a very busy day.  We had a showing this afternoon so I spent the entire day cleaning and organizing.  It paid off because we got an offer.  Granted, it's not close to what we want but I'm glad to know someone is interested.  If God is in it, it will work out!

Tomorrow Jackson has Mother's Morning Out, while he's there the babies and I will meet Mom's Group at the park.  It should be a low key day... after today I'm ready for one of those.

We are going to Atlanta, GA May 5-11 to visit family, meet with a couple of OMFS groups and look at the Canton area for opening our own practice.  It's exciting to think of the future and know we are almost done with residency.  Brad starts his Chief year next month.  Yippee!!!

It was a beautiful day today. The kids stayed outside the entire day riding bikes and playing on the playground.  Brad's 31st birthday is Sunday.  We all went out to dinner tonight and Jackson sang happy birthday to daddy.  All those sitting around us wanted to melt about how cute our kids were.  Just wait until we add two more blessings.  As for mommy, 2 nausea free days in a row.

Tomorrow is our first soccer game.  Jackson can't wait to coach the "big kids."

Today was a nausea free day!!!  Yippee.  It was a beautiful warm day in Indy and we spent the whole day outside.  We played in the yard, grilled steaks and went to soccer practice.  Brad is coaching 11 yr olds at our church Sonshine Soccer league.  Jackson says HE is the coach and Daddy helps.  We all had a good time.  Connor said "Thank you" yesterday and that was very exciting.  Gabrielle is babbling all the time but you can't understand any of it, really.  They are so much fun at this age... we could just eat them up.

My mother-in-law left today after visiting for the week.  6 hours later my Dad rolled into town.  I'm enjoying the company and the kids are eating up all the attention.  We've had lots of showings on the house.  One couple came to look twice but still no offers so far.   This weather is so weird, it snowed all day today and we are supposed to get 3 inches this weekend.  I thought it was Spring?

This has been such a crazy week.  Gabrielle, Connor, Brad and myself all have sinus infections and are on antibiotics.  Easter Sunday was a bust because I was so sick with the pregnancy.  I'll be so glad when this stage is over and done.  We've had 4 showings on the house but no offers.  With due time, I'm sure.

We've been tossing around a few baby names.

Boy favorites: Austin Lee, Jason Lee, William Lee,

Girl favorites: Anna Lee, Victoria Elizabeth, Savannah Lee

We are nowhere close to picking one though.  We'll take any ideas you might have!!!

I got sick tonight.  That happens quite often with this pregnancy.  I was in the bathroom hovered over the toliet and Jackson said, "You want me to come in here with you, Doll?"  I managed to get a YES out and he walked over to me and ever so gently patted my back.  How did I get so blessed to have such a sweet 3 year old who wants to take care of his "Doll"?

Oh my goodness, the past two days have been so hectic.  Two of my friends from church talked me into cooking 25 days worth of meals for our families.  We made our menu, bought our groceries and then yesterday was "cook day."  We cooked for 14 hours straight!!!!!  I've never been so tired in my life.  But I have a freezer full of homemade, great tasting, healthy meals for my family.  It was so worth it.

Also, today we had our first showing on the house.  I sure worked hard to get the house in ship shape condition.  It was VERY difficult with the kids running around but I made it.  The house looked great.  Hope they liked it.

I had my OB appointment today.  Dr. Case and I decided that we will go with a C-section this time around.  That way I won't have to worry about having two different types of delivery like I did with Gabrielle and Connor.  I had an ultrasound today, too.  Both little ones are just growing and coming right along.  It's truly amazing to think of them both.  I wonder what these will be like... their personalities... their hair color???  Who knows, but I can't wait to meet them.

Also, we put the house on the market today.  It's really odd to think of leaving our 1st home.  I really love this house, but to say we've outgrown it would be an understatement.

Today Jackson lifted up my shirt and pointed to my belly button.  He said, "What's in there Mommy?"  I told him the babies were in there.  Then he started tapping my belly.  He said, "I like it, it's like a drum!"

Gabrielle and Connor love to pat my belly, too.  Gabrielle when asked to "Love the babies" will ever so gently kiss my belly.  Too sweet.

My next doctor's appointment is on Tuesday April 3rd at 1:20pm.  I have a ton of questions for Dr. Case.  I'll update the site then on what she has to say.

Today, we were outside with the kids.  I was putting together a tricycle for Gabrielle and Connor.  Jackson was helping.  I asked him to hand me the wrench and he said, "Here you go, My Lord."  He's so funny.

March 29, 2007

We've decided that we will put our house up for sale.  We are going to rent something larger for this last year that we're here.  It would make us feel like we can handle things better if we had more room for our new babies.   Please pray for a quick sale of our home.  Love, Dacia

On March 22, 2007 Mommy went to the doctor for a routine, 1st trimeseter ultrasound.  The u/s technician was Lisa.  She was the same tech who did all Gabrielle and Connor's u/s.  She was tickled to see Mommy and couldn't believe she was pregnant, again.  Mommy told Lisa that it was her job to tell Mommy there was just one of us in her belly.  Lisa immediatley looked at Mommy and started crying.  Lisa said, "Dacia, you are having ANOTHER set of twins!"  Mommy cried, too because she said she was nervous about taking care of us.  We assured Mommy that God wants her to have all of us babies and WE want her and Daddy for our parents.  We can't wait to come into the world!
