Stories Feb.10th 2009 Happy Birthday Grandma, Aunt Katie, Papa Dave...Happy Valentines Day! So Owen has finally realized maggie is gone and not coming back, he was okay with it until the last couple of nights. He keeps asking when is she coming home....breaking my heart then he asked Is papa glenn going to take good care of her? Then he said she is dead mommy...we are never going to see her again. Joe and I have both talked with him but only time will tell. Of course today he said can we get another doggie? I wonder who put that thought in his mind? On a happier note you can see we went to a motocross show, went sled riding, staying home with daddy is alot of fun. Owen enjoyed the motocross show but today he was riding his bike an trying to jump the pile of snow that hasn't quite melted. no fear yet so that scares me. He also walked up to the neighbors jumping in mud puddles and on the way back home said he feet hurt, his barn boots where on the wrong feet and filled with water gotta love that. Some of the funny things he has said lately... whats up dude? how you doin? he also told me I looked like I had a mohawk when I had my hair pulled up. He sings I'm a little teapot now which he still can't say his "S" very well so it is really funny.I'm a little taepot, Short and tout here is my handle here is my pout , when i get all teamed up and shout....Like when he says lets tateboard daddy..Which is skateboarding and GO Teelers! when they won the superbowl. That sounds like a good note to end on..Yeah the steelers won the superbowl! Love you all Hope you enjoyed all the updates lately, don't get use to it....hehe
Jan. 30th 2009 we went sled riding.....yes, I did too but no photos....I am the photographer. It was fun but my butt and knee hurts today...Well Go Steelers!
JAN. 25 2009 Maggie may went to heaven for Papa Glenn to take care of. Any ideas how to explain this? We haven't told owen yet, we thought when he asked we would explain. Some how he hasn't noticed or hasn't asked. god works in misterious ways. I will try to add more pictures later, Grammie Linda is home for her birthday so we have been very busy. Love ya all.
Jan. 16 2009 It is -5 this morning. Yesterday when I was leaving for work we pulled out of the garage and the sun was shining. We were wearing our sunglasses because of the the glare of the snow. Owen says to me, mommy isn't it beautiful.... I said it sure is honey and laughed deep down inside. The litttle things kids appreciate that we take for granted. I made a really hard decision yesterday too. I took owen out of school temporaraly to save money until we know what is happening with joes job. It mad me very sad and they are saving his spot, but I feel bad. He says he doesn't want to go to school but once we get there he loves it and he always talks about his friends. Lets hope it is only for a short time and things will get back to normal. Hope all is well....
Jan. 13 2008 Hope everyone is staying warm. It is suppose to get very cold here. Did you all read my sister finally made he son sleep in his own crib... she probably will put him in and he will crawl out. In all seriousness good job shanon it maybe hard but it will be the best for all of you. I can't have another nephew if he is in bed with you... Just remember, read my old stories, you will have good days and bad, your a mother let your mom gut tell you what to do. Love ya all.. oh yeah congrats to zach for winning math 24 ! Jan 3rd 2008 Aunt Katie is pregnant. YEAH! My friend Jaymee in atlanta is pregnant too with a girl. So that makes, chris and abby who are having a boy (soon). Cinithia and Bryan whom just had a boy, my cousin Jason and Megan just had a boy. My cousin Allisa and Mike just had a baby girl, our friends Jeremy and Stephanie from Texas, they don't know sex of baby either...babies babies and more babies. Anyone else keeping a secret. Jan 1st 2009 We survived 2008...Lets hope for a better 2009. As you can tell we went to splash lagoon...We had a great time..but missed jimmy, angela , and Moe. I think we can go back. We had a good time but very exhausting. My son actually feel asleep the 2nd day at the waterpark, he swam the day before from 1:00 ish until 10/11 ish with no nap, then they all stayed up until midnight for the newyear. We all crashed and back at it by 11:00 the next morning. He loved it but was ready to come home. Hard to believe it is a new year already! What is everyones new years resolution? I am still thinking about mine. Joe and I both need to make one. Talk to you all soon and hope you enjoy the new 50 pictures.
Dec.30 th 2008 Wow alot has happened in the last few days. Our Good friend Morgane whom is 12 had her appendics burst and was sent to cleveland clinic the 23rd of dec. they weren't sure what was wrong at first but then sent her to cleveland clinic and took her into surgery. One of the scariest moments in my life and she is not even my child. So needless to say we were suppose to have a party at my house christmas eve for Joe's side of the family, and thank goodness for Aunt Carol and grandma linda because they took over. Thank you very much. Off we went to the hospital, she had surgery with a drain tube on christmas eve and will finally get out tomorrow, unfortunately she has to come home with I.V. antibiotics and go back in 2/3 months for removal of her appendics. But she is getting back to normal and is going to be home safe. Love you Moe Joe. We even took owen to the hospital because Moe and owen are very close, he was so sweet walking around holding her iv stand and her hand saying I will help you ...so you don't fall. He told us if he went she would feel better. He did pretty good. I can't wait to see her back to normal. So we did have a get together Christams Eve and Aunt Carol put on a great party, she had a delicious meal and everything looked great. She really went out of her way. Thank you Aunt Carol again, sorry I didn't get to help much. Grandma Linda also came home for Christmas which was very nice and thanks for the wood too. Our friends from Texas are home for the holidays too, busy time of the year! As you see we had a house full on christmas and we enjoyed every minute. Owen and bradyn both got way too many gifts and it all happened so fast I am still finding things I never saw owen open. The little brat opened a leap frog computer, learning game ...opened it half way and tossed it to the side and went to the next present. He also opened a pair of pjs from nana and the next gift looked the same so he said ...no i don't want to open it because its clothes and went onto the next. The day before we even sat down and talked to him about gifts and saying thanks, being thankful...and he still didn't care. although if you ask him what christmas is about he will say...baby jesus birthday and spending time with people you love, and of course Santa Claus. I tried really I did. Everyone says they all act like that at three. Aunt Shanon also turned 33 the day after christmas. We all got together for that too. Happy Birthday Aunt Shanon...Well anyways I have babbled enough and we are off to Splash Lagoon. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and will have a safe and happy new year! Lets pray for a better 2009! Dec 21st 2008 We had our party and Thank you so much santa. I can't explain how much it means to make our kids happy. They are blind to all the troubles in the world and just enjoy every minute. When times get tough the only thing we have to hold us together is family. I know is was a little chaotic but I think they enjoyed it. We all need to get together when everyone isn't so rushed though. Maybe in the summer not 5 days before christmas. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and thank you I enjoyed seeing all the kids happy. Thanks again Santa. Thank you aunt denise, love ya Dec 18 2008 sorry its beeen a while since I updated. Lets see I will try to keep it positive. Its christmas and lets all get together. Joe is losing his job, dec 23rd..so that means i still pay out of my pocket for insurance. Owen just had a problem with his kidneys, urine, but thank god all the test have came back good. He had microscopic blood in his urine and was having trouble going to the bathroom, he said it hurt and wouldn't go, until he couldn't hold it anymore. He also had a accident at night and he has always done very good with that. But like I said all came back good so they think it was a virus in his kidneys that cured its self. Good old cranberry juice, I went back to old school remedies and filled him up with cranberry juice. Well O is awake so must cut it short. Lets pray for a better year 2009. hope to see all you soon. Sorry it should of been cousin eddie not uncle don't ask me how I made that mistake.
11-27-08 HAPPY THANKSGIVING HOPE EVERYONE EATS UNTIL THEIR HAPPY. I am thinking about having a christmas party with Santa coming for all the kids who want to be invited, as the holidays come and the stress increases, i try to sit back and enjoy the complete happiness the holidays bring to owen...he never stress about anything...well maybe a nap or bedtime but lets do it for the children. I am open for dates, thinking a sat. before christmas. I will have everyone bring a dish to eat what they are drinking and a toy for santa. The other day owen was just staring out the car window and he looked sad so I said Owen whats the matter and he replied nothing mommy... i waited a few minutes and he was still doing it so I asked , are you sad? he said , no mommy what do I have to be sad about? When times are tough , I am so thankful I have him, he makes me laugh, cry, smile...never did I know someone could make me so happy. So lets say screw the economy, the holiday stress, you name it whatever is bothering you and have a day to enjoy our kids. By the way if you haven't heard Owen can not say Sc sound together and he wants a scooter for christmas... A Four Wheeler and a Cooter....gotta love him, a can't wait to show him this when he getting married. well must go get ready for turkey day.. Thanks to Aunt shanon i don't have much to do. Hope you all have a great day. 11-21-2008 We played in the snow...yeah! Grammy was home too....Go Buckeyes beat Mich.. Happy Birthday Bud! Look closely at our pictures of sledding. Uncle Eddie drove the four wheeler and it pulled bud then uncle bud was used as the pull horse for owen. Complete red neck, complete fun! I am thankful this year even though it has been rough I am thankful I can do all this fun stuff and we are all happy and healthy. Lets hope times change and things get better. When times get too hard to stand....kneel! talk to you all soon 11-9-08 We had a great halloween... lots of candy... we went to aunt shanons on thursday had a school party friday morning and then hay ride on friday night at Aunt Wendys. Owen would tell the people passing out candy if they had whoppers, these are my daddies favorite, so of course we got a lot of those. At school they got to pick there own candy so he picked out tootsie rolls and skittles that was it. Too funny. We laso went to our first movie, Madagascar II he did really good and it was a really cute movie. Owen's favorite movie of all times was the first Madagascar. Well can't think of much else. Keep us in your prayers my husband is probably going to get laid off in Jan. so that means no insurance yet! Just when we thought it was all turning around...lets hope all turns out well. I keep trying to keep my beliefs that everything that happens for a reason and what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger. love ya all 10-27-08 As you see we carved pumpkins already, nobody can see my pumpkins so why not do them early when it was convienent for us. Owen really enjoyed it and wants them lit every night three candles in each one. I have to tell you two funny things he said today on the way home from school he says mommy do you know another name for pumpkin? I played a long and said no....he yells jack o lantern silly.... then tonight we where eating dinner and he was making a raspy sound with his throat and says mommy that sounds like that song in your car...you know Cowboy....Cowboy baby... kid rock fan in the making.. well he is crawling up me asking to sit on me so I must go. enjoy the pictures.. 10-19-08 Happy Birthday Aunt Sandy We have had our birthday parties...lots of fun and work... Hard to believe they are both three already. We are still building owens tree house. It has gotten a little crazy if you ask me, but I said i didn't want it to be ghetto so now it has new windows and siding, each year we are planning to add more. I hope he uses it. Owen and macey both finally are potty trained it was funny we both thought they were never going to do it, and they did it at the same time. Owen likes to make all the little kids that come to my house were his underware. Macey and Bradyn both had to wear them the other day. When macey and owen are together they also never want to wear any clothes, who knows what that is all about. what one does the other has too. Owen is very busy now and likes to climb and jump off everything. Last night he called me into his room, he had put the laundry basket upside down to climb on top of his dresser and once he got up there he realized it was to high. he climbs on the back of the couch and jumps off, jumps off his little table. no matter how many times we tell him no he still ends up doing it . He puts piles of pillows on the floor in his room and jumps off his bed into them. I think it is pay back time....I am starting to wonder if joe is right...maybe a little hyper active. i think just a boy with a little of me and a little of joe... Love it! I need to start writing things down but here are some funny thing he has said lately that I can remember... I burned my finger on a match and I was showing joe and Owen says Mommy don't you know...You should never play with matches..... His teacher a school pulled me a side the other day and says I have to tell you this... I was like oh great in trouble again. She said I checked his underware because we were outside on the playground and they were a little damp so i said owen do you have to pee? he says no it was just a dripper... don't have any clue were that came from He was looking for his stool the other day and couldn't find it.. I said oh that is because your a male and have male vision...he shouts yeah like a Mailbox... Can't think of anymore I am going to start jotting them down. He is going to be Alex the lion from madagascar for halloween or marty the zebra we have two customes thank goodness for yard sales. He told be yesterday that he has 3 favorite songs Bingo still, Tisket a tasket, and now you and me going fishing in the dark, an older country song. Too cute... well I have mumble jumbled enough. hope everyone is well, please let me know you visited. the more you sign the more I update! Love ya sorry I didn't proof read it either can't figure out vista 09/00/2008 My baby is going to be 3 in less then a week....As you see in the pictures we are building a swing set play house for his birthday. It is huge, Joe says if he has to play in it he wants to be comfortable and we can use it when we have the flat track in the field. Also hopefully he will play with it until he older, A He man women haters club house. Too bad all our friends have girls so girls are going to be allowed for a while. Also I forgot to mention before we left he had to make a trip to urgent care due to a dislocated elbow. Nursemaids elbow...Joe was swinging owen and pop out it went. It was crazy, he cried until the dr. moved it back in place and pop he was back to normal, instantly normal again. Daddy wasn't he felt really bad but Owen could care less. Well I think daddy needs rescued. Please sign guestbook or I swear i will stop updating....hee hee 09/04/08 So I missed July and August...Atleast I put pictures on. As you can tell We went to ocean city with the Armstrongs, daddy stayed home and worked. We all had a virus that was terrible, Bradyn then shanon, then Owen and I ,and we passed an eye infection to bud on vacation and daddy and papa were sick while we were gone. If anyone else had it I feel terrible for you. Thank goodness we both got antibiotics and felt a little better in a couple of days. So our vacation wasn't ruined. Owen didn't really like the ocean he said it was too loud. finally towards the end he would let his feet get wet...I only get my feet wet too so I can't blame him. I like to see what I am swimming in and you couldn't see bottom. He loved the sand and to play with his boogie board, he would and still is just draging the boogie board every where. It is really cute to hear him say boogie board to. I have to share these funny things he said on vacation. We where walking one night and a very intoxicated guy was walking behind is, he was so bad he feel twice almost getting hit by a car. So I tell Bud and Shanon...let this idiot pass us....so when he is stumbling past us owen says That idiot mommy, I ignore him so he repeats himself louder...thank goodness the guy was so hammered he had no clue... another time walking down the boardwalk Owen was throwing a temper tantrum about something and he looks at us and says...You guys are making me nervous....real serious...Completly wrong context...we all just started laughing and then so did he. He also told aunt shanon that girls have boobs and boys have bumps...Yeah, couldn't wait until he talked. A lady at the store the other day complimented us on how good his speech and vocabulary was and I said well thank you, thinking to myself yeah and I thought he would never talk and they wanted him to take speech lessons, so as we are leaving she says thank you have a nice night, he replies than you mame....so sweet. He talks none stop and very loud. I asked my mom the other day if his actions are normal...she laughed and said , yeah with you and joe as parents. pay backs. He is a little hyper I think, but I just keep saying he is a boy. I have to laugh now when we get Owen and Macey together, the tables hace turned she use to be the loud, talking, busy one and now its mine. Macey sings a song but sugarland it is one of the funniest things I seen, we need to send it to funniest home videos, she tries so hard to lip sync and doesn't know but a couple of words and the oohh, ohhh..chorus part. Bradyn is starting to babble and starting to get a little temper, attitude..he is finally laughing too...he was always so serious, not any more. Him and Owen have to have the same things or they fight, it is funny but also very annoying. Having all three kids so close to each other is a blast they grow so fast though. Owen moved up in his daycare class, he likes it his 2 friends or buddies as he calls them moved up too. He still isn't potty trained he says he is trying and when he goes in his pants he says it was an accident. If you stay on him he does great but if you slack so does he. He sings all kinds of songs now...You are my sunshine, which makes me get teary eyed everytime, his favorite now is tisket a tasket, we have a toddler cd in the car and he can sing probably a dozen or more songs. well its getting late and i feel like I am blabbering so I will try to update stories at little more often..and if it doesn't make since or spelled wrong...deal with it I didn't proof read it...Oh yeah sorry ZACH.....or is it Zack...hahahaLove ya all. 06/29/2008 Happy Anniversary Aunt Wendy Happy Birthday Uncle Jimmy.. We had Bradyns birthday party saturday, its was very nice. We then went to the cortland street fair for the parade, as you see we got rained on too. We also went and let the kids ride rides, which they loved...crazy money but they enjoyed it. Owen has a cold or something he is not being himself. A couple of long days. Daddy also got some good news he is now going to be working at GM Lordstown plant and runnig the car lot. we don't know much about the job but we will keep you posted. Hopefully we will finally have insurance coverage yeah!!!!! Well must get everyones stuff ready for the week. Oh yeah i forgot owen sings head shoulders knees and toes and a song about friends. my friends, and your friends ..the more we get together the happier we will be.
