04-03-2007  I am having trouble with this website it is taking for ever to uplaod my photos, I maybe changing but I will keep you posted.  Owen started daycare and he had a rough first day but did good the second day, he seems to be adjusting rather quickly which is good.  I gave him is third haircut, he did great I used the clippers and he watched a dvd, daddy had to help at the end to fix a few spots.  As you can see he loves being outside, we have trouble getting him to come inside, when you bring him in it is like cutting his arm off. Keep you posted.

03-24-2007   We went to a St.Pat's Parade, Owen loved it....it was very long we left after about 1 hour .  Owen had his 18 month checkup, he still is skinny as a rail he weighs 20.6 pounds and is 32 1/4 inches long...still moving up so we are fine.  He is really starting to learn things he dances to the wiggles, he follows thier dance steps, he knows his head, eyes, mouth, nose, ears, tongue, teeth, toes, bum sometimes, belly.......you know body parts.  He still isn't talking much but likes to babble and now screams like an indian and pat his mouth while screaming.  He loves being outside, we have to keep our blinds shut or he stands at the door and whines like a puppy.  As you can see in the pictures, he is all boy, loves dirt,  puddles...rocks. I guess I am getting paid back as my mom would say.  He is hard to keep clean, I now feel bad when I thought boy can't they clean that kid up...it is never ending.

We are having a big change in O's babysitting schedule.  He is starting day care, pre school in April.  Nana has to work at the ice cream store so its time to move on.  I think it is going to be good for him, if it doesn't work I have a back up plan.  I think he will do fine, it's will mommy and Grandma do okay?  My friends children go there too,  so I have more than my eyes watching him. We will see. Well I hear my son waking up so I gotta go.

03-05-2007   Sorry I will try to update soon, I never find time to update anymore! It seems to take forever and I have tried everything to speed it up! As you see we went to Florida for a long weekend.  It was a great time...Thanks Grandma Linda we needed it!  Owen, loved the weather. He did great on the plane, he was a little restless at first but when we took of he said "weeee" and then we but the Backyardigans on the dvd player and out he went.  Our flight couldn't have been better.  When we first walked out side at the airport he said Ahhh, just like we did, sunshine, warmth....Once we got to Grandma's he was ready to run and play.  They went for a walk and played and enjoyed every minute.  Later that night we went to dinner for Crab legs.  Not thinking Lenten , busy...we had to wait 45 minutes.   We got to wait outside and there was a gentelman playing music, which owen loves music.  So I gave Owen change to put in his tip jar, well that started something, for 45 minutes owen went and collected money from everyone waiting, walking up putting it in jar .  He would turn around clap, wait for everyone to clap and then bow, and of course run to the next person with there hand out.  It kept him busy and everyone loved it.  The second night we went to dinner and we had spaghetti, it is easier to just let him go to town and clean him up afterwards.  The table next to us had to take his picture, everone ate that up too.  It was nice to see him bring so much joy to everyone!  I thought it was just me! We where only there for a long weekend but a very fullfilling and fun time.  We had great weather and it was nice to be able to let him play outside. Grandma Linda looks awesome and she is so much healthier...Good Job Grammy it takes a lot of work!  Keep it up.....Hope to see you again soon, we liked the Sunshine!  Well, must go to work... Oh yeah, Owen is getting his canines in on the top so Only four more teeth to go!I

02-08-2007   Is that not the cutest picture, Owen looks like a monkey.  We all thought he was part monkey and I even call him Munka sometimes.  Sorry it?s hard to find time to update I at least try to keep up with pictures.  Lets see Owen and Macey took swim classes and the water was freezing, they did well, they both love the water.  Owens lips turned blue and his lip quivered.  He would much rather have bath water.  As you see he loves bath time.  He blows bubbles, drinks it, splashes you name it he tries it.  He still isn't talking much, babbles and points but that is about it.  He is just getting over a cold and he was nice and shared with Aunt Shanon, Grandma and Mom and Dad, we think papa started it so he didn't share with him. He weighs about 20 lbs now and his pants are getting shorter so I think he is getting taller too. Still a little peanut. As you saw we went to the bike show and Owen loved it, he got on every small bike he could and went vroom vroom... yep, I think I had a motor head or daddy is making him one.  We are doing great with bedtime.  One of my new years resolutions was to get my child to sleep on his own and I have accomplished that.  Lets hope I didn't jinks myself.  He goes to bed pretty much with out a fuss, wow much easier on mommy! I but him in his crib say goodnight and give him a big kiss and out he goes.  It took a lot of work but we accomplished it!  It actually wasn't that bad I just had to stay consistent and I think he had to mature a little. He has all but 6 of his teeth and I can see his canines on the top coming in so soon he will just need his last molars.  Teething hasn't been too bad with him although he really likes his binki when a new tooth is coming in.  He started trying to pick Maggie up, which she of course hates.  He also likes to let her out and he runs over to her treat container and points and yells until you get one for her.  She does good taking it from him, we just have to work on leaving her alone to let her eat it.  She has come a long way.  I never thought she would do as well as she has. At 13 I thought she was stuck in he old bitty ways.  I just hope it stays that way.  Owen still loves Bananas and Tomatoes we have to hide both of these from him or he goes nuts until you give him them.  He is still a great eater for the most part but we are having more trouble with veggies. Pretty much if you eat he will eat it.  He even like salsa and tortilla chips. He still hates mashed potatoes; he scrapes them off his tongue or spits them out.  Oh yeah I forgot to mention that he started spitting, don't know where he learned it but when he is done or just for the heck of it he will spit.  He has always spit when brushing his teeth, like mocking you, but this his real true boy spitting already. We thought maybe it was from spitting apple peal out but who knows where he learned it. We taught him how to throw his football and raise his hands for TOUCH DOWN !  He gives you five and waves bye bye, somewhat blows you kisses.  You don't really want his kisses they are open mouth...He is very loveable though he likes to give hugs and when he hugs you he says Ahhhh! It just melts you heart.  My sister is going to find out what she is having on the 15th so I will keep you all posted.  Her pregnancy is going fast I think, she has experienced some pregnancy nausea lately, but over all she is doing great. Hope it stays that way.  Well I think I have babbled enough, hope everyone has a great Valentines Day!

01-04-2007  Oh yeah I realized I forgot to tell you about Owens Check up!  He  is 30 inches tall and only weighs 19 lbs. They sent me for testing because he is so small but everything came back normal.  He is just small hmmm I wonder where he gets that? He still has his murmur and still just watching the hemangioma, it finally is getting less noticeable, hopefully smaller but I think his hair is just covering it.  I am just glad he is healthy. The picture I posted of him flexing is really him showing his muscles he grunts and puts him arms out straight to show you his muscles. He still isn't saying much mama, da da, uh oh, oohh about everything, dahg, and sometimes hot but not often.

My sister had her sonogram and everything looks good, I asked her to e-mail it to me so I could post it but I think she forgot.  I will keep you all posted until she gets closer to delivery and then she will start her own site.  But, she is definately pregnant and she seems scared to death, I can't wait! My friend from hygiene school and My sister are due around the same time 3 days apart.  I am praying for you both two healthy pregnancies.

 Now I think thats it.

01-04-2007    Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to all.....   It has been really busy.  We had friends and family home for the holidays it was very nice. We went to the Browns game on Christmas Eve, even though I'm not a big browns fan I did have fun. I wish them well next year!  I posted pictures on the webpage of my little cousin Zach at his first Browns game.  Christmas day was really crazy, Owen opened presents for it seemed like hours.  We went to his great Grandmas for dinner and then came back home so he could get more presents from my side of the family.  It was really nice but almost overwelming. He did good he opened presents and said OHHH and then wanted to play with the gift so it took even longer.  I video tape alot of it so I didn't get very many pictures. It was very nice spending time with everyone though and thank you for all the gifts.  On New Years we went to our friends who were having a little get together and Owen had two other boys to play with and his best friend Morgane.  It was very cute all three boys were only months apart in ages.  My son was ready to bring in the New Year!  He refused to go to sleep, he stayed up until 1:00a.m. yep, when the apple dropped he raised his hands and said OHHH!  I think because that is what they were doing on t.v. It was very cute.  We also had a pretty scary episode on new years, Owen chocked on something while he was eating it. He stopped breathing for a few secounds, thank god I reacted quickly I think out of instinct.  I flip him over and smacked him on his back and luckily it came out. It is so scary how quick things can happen. I am so glad I learned CPR and Took the childs course again when I had him. Hope I never have to use it again. I think that is about all that has happened,  hope everyone has a better year then the last and enjoys it to the fullest.

Sorry Owen just woke up I will add more later

12-06-2006    So its been a while.  You can see that we finally got Owens hair cut. He did really good. The stylist thought I was crazy because he was sleeping and I woke him up to cut it. They had a tractor seat, we were good! They also gave him a sucker, which I wore more then he ate. I really can't believe how much he has grown.  I feel like a true parent now because I say the same things they do.....enjoy them while you can they grow so fast....you now what I mean I don't need any more examples. He is so enjoyable at this age, trying to talk, always into something, always busy.  I got very lucky, he is a great baby. We finally got him to go to sleep on his own, it was tough but we did it. I don't know what I am going to do when he climbs out of the crib though, I have no idea how I will keep him in bed.  We took some christmas picture the other night, my uncle came down and did a great photo shoot.  They sure are hard to take pictures of when the get more mobile. When they have a mind of thier own. Grandma linda is coming home to visit. She says she misses us too but we wonder. We put our christmas decorations up so we can celebrate christmas with her early! Owen is doing pretty good. He knows how to turn the tree on and off so I never know when it is lit, I have a button you step on to turn it on.  He also walks up to it an say ouuh! He does the same thing as we drive down the road and we see lights. He started last week to just walk around the house and scream just to hear himself. It was cute at first but getting a little old. He did it when he first found his voice but that only lasted a day or two this has been a week.  He also started say Haa for Hot, he sounds like he is clearing his throat.  He has a molar coming in and has been miserable the last couple of days, but I guess I should be thankful this is the first real bad teething pain. He has had a low grade fever and drooling like crazy. But all in all I am loving Parenthood.  I am glad that my sister is having a baby too, Now knowing what a blessing it is I can't imagine my life without. The love you feel when they give you a hug...unconditional, undescribeable, unbelieveable. Oh yeah, O does that too gives you a hug and waves goodbye. His wave is pretty funny it use to be just a arm flailing around, now he waves with his fingers with a little flick in the wrist too. well I hope I remembered everything I will try to update a little more often.  Happy Birthday Grandpa Bill and Ava Dublikar!

11-13-06  Can you believe the steelers came back to win that game. Happy Birthday to our friends Ben and Bayne, They had a clown at the party, of course Owen could care less he just went on with his business.  The other kids seemed to enjoy it.  Owen can ride his little battery operated  fourwheeler all by himself now. He is horrible a stearing it.  For some reason he likes to run into trees. It is amazing how smart they are at such a young age. It is like they are a large sponge just soaking it all in. He loves the outdoors and when you bring him in the house he stands at the door reaching for the handle and crying. A little taller and we will need to put the door knob locks on.already. People are asking what does he need for christmas.  He doesn't need much.  Anything educational, I am trying to teach him some spanish and some sign language, nothing too hard just the basics.  We also are saving up to build him a swing set, you know he has to have a huge swing set , play house. Well I can hear him stirring, must be time to wake up. Love ya all Hope to see you around the HOlidays.

11-01-2006  I will try to post halloween pictures, my camera quit working so I have to get them from wendy, mom, and shannon.  Hope everyone had a Happy Haloween. Owen was Elmo of course and Macey was a chicken. They were too cute.  It is very hard to take pictures of them, they never stop moving and they never both look at the camera. We took them trick or treating to a few friends houses and yes, grandma Linda Owen had chocolate, nerds, and a few licks of a sucker.  He loved ebery minute of it.  Wendy has pictures so hopefully I can post them.  Well must go to work  Love ya all and hope you are enjoying my son as much as I am.  Thanks for signing the guest book, sometimes I feel like i only have this site for Sonya, Aunt Shan, Grandma P and Grandma Vand of course cassie.  Love you guys.

10-19-2006  Happy 13 month birthday Owen.  It's been a while since I have written.  Owen's birthday was great he recieved more than enough gifts.  Thank you all for coming and for all your help.  It seems like every weekend we have a birthday party to go to.  Boy, how times have changed.

My husband is changing jobs again.  He is now working at LOU WOLLAM CHEVY in cortland. A lot closer to home, small store.  Lets pray he enjoys it and makes some money$$$ So please pass the word around, he needs the business.

Owen as you can see is walking, he tries to run but isn't very graceful.  He started to put is head on the ground and look between his legs.  He has eight teeth and loves to use them.  His bump is still present and I wanted to have something cosmetically done and the doctor talked me out of it. He is too cute to live with the bump forever.  His hair needs to grow on the top and not in the back so it will cover it.  I am just getting tired of answering Oh did he fall and bump his head? I want to say no he is a turkey and he is ready too eat....I know it could be worse and I should just suck it up people are just concerned but it really gets annoying. Owen decided he doesn't like babyfood he would rather eat BOLOGNA mmmm. mom's favorite. He eats really whatever we eat. As long as he can feed himself he is content. He loves the toliet and the bath tub, if he comes up missing that is where he is. He knows what toys are maggies and carries them over to her to play with him.  She is still a little wench and won't play. She is getting better though, she will let him touch her for about 5 seconds and then she runs away and of course he chases her. Hope everyone is doing well . Thank you all for being a part of owens life.Love ya

09/27/2006   Thank you for all your help and gifts at Owen's party. Hope you enjoy the picture didn't have time to write much .

08/27/2006   Boy its been a while...  We have been pretty busy.  Joe is doing good at his new job, we are having trouble with insurance...gotta love our healthcare system.  Owen's bump perfect timing seems to be getting bigger.  They did say it has to get bigger before it gets smaller.  We just pray nothing happens in the next three months

On a lighter note our little guy is trying to walk, he walks about 10 steps by himself.  Joe says he looks like a drunk midget.  He has been taking one or two steps for about a week, but now he is actually walking, not very gracefull.  Our life is going to get much harder now.  He has seven teeth now, four on top and three on bottom.  He is still biting and chewing everything.  He still just babbles and screams to hear himself scream. He says "Ti" "Sss" "Ga" for dog,  "Ma" "Da" and Bbbb with spit flying. He changes his tone and pitch in babbling. For some reason if we are at home he babbles more then in public or at others people houses. I can't believe he is getting so big .  He is refusing to eat baby food, he loves pasta, or whatever you are eating.  I guess I better start eating better.

Our friends Jeff and Gabbie had thier baby.  Baby boy  Jermey Dean  he is very precious, seems so tiny.  We also went to a birthday party for Landen who turned One Year Too.  Owen is going to have lots of friends to play with, when he understands how to play nice with other babies. Well I can hear Owen yelling upstairs must be time for bed.

08/15/2006  Happy Birthday Owen.  11 months old.  One more month and you will be a year.  We had a big change in our life.  Joe  No longer works at Mark Thomas Ford.  He is now employed at Youngstown Buick.  He is selling Buick, Chevy, and Pontiac.  So anyone in the market, we got the car for you....hee hee

0809/2006   Well lets start with the sleeping thing.  I gave up on trying to let him fall asleep on his own.  He is only a baby once right?  So I hold him until he falls asleep and I put him in his crib.  It usually only takes about 10 minutes and I love every minute of the cuddling.  Sleeping throught the night we are getting better but he is up around 3:30 and I just go in give him his pacifier and pat his butt and he goes back to sleep.  My thought is he might not be ready to go the next step and my earsa nd heart can't take it.

No he hasn't chewed threw his crib but he has ruined it. He also is trying to climb out of it already.  We believe he is part beaver and part monkey.  He is a climber boy.  He is walking all over as long as he has something to hold on to. He point at evrything and say oh! He chases Maggie around the house but it sounds like he says "ga" instead of dog.

We went to the races and Owen was very good, he even slept through some of it.  Joe ran his bike and my dad's.  It was just test and tune so no actual race. It was fun but hot.

Morgane  I would love to clean your choppers........I heard you made an appointment, can't wait to see you.

I posted a picture of Macey and Owen on the website but it is really hard to get a good picture now.  The picture explaines the camotion. I can't not explain how fun it is having our children grow up together.  I love Macey and her mommy to death.  The mommies got to go out the other night and daddies stayed home.  We had a great time, it was very nice to be able to talk without a baby crawling on you, eating dog food, you name it... We both really enjoyed it and needed it.

Owen's birthday is just around the corner we stll haven't set any plans yet we are in the process, so when we figure out what is going on I will let everyone know.  Can you believe it! I can't, I started packing baby stuff away last night and almost started crying.  Oh yeah, I 'm a mom now!  And I laughed at my mom....

Oh yeah we took owen to the doctors because he had bumps all over.  We found out he is fine, he weighed 18 lbs. 10 oz.  He had bug bites and heat rash. But they had to see him of course becuse they wanted to make sure it wasn't a virus.  They also checked his ear because he always tugs at the one when he was tired, but it looked good.  The Hemangioma they still say it will go away...leave it alone.....Grrrrrrrrrr.  I am really tired of looking at it and explaining it to people.  Welll enough babbling hope that is a good update for a while. Love ya all

07/24/2006  Thank You for the advice.  I don't know what I did or if it was just a stage but he seems to be doing better. Kim I didn't crawl in the crib with him but I was about too. My crib rail doesn't come down and I can only reach my hand between the slats about an inch past my wrist, but darn it I do it.  So far so good.  His laterals are coming in but he is chewing closer to the sides, who knows...maybe he was just testing my patiences.

Happy Birthday to Nana P, we got our family pictures taken for her, and she got a car seat for Owen, which was last years present a little late... Happy Birthday to Maggie May too..She is 12 just 17 years younger then nana.

Owen is still eating his crib, we think he is part beaver and monkey, due to his eating wood and climbing out of everything.  Everyday, he suprises me with something.  gotta love em. Maggie on the other hand, really decided she doesn't care for her little brother, he started chasing her around the house.  So far she just runs away, but when he cries at night or we are putting him to sleep she is in his room.  Mixed emotions. Well thanks for the advice from the few who respond...

07/17/2006  There are a few new pictures of our fun filled weekend.  Finally a nice weekend to Swim.  Owen  loves too swim. Not too much has happened, other than Owen climbed out of his highchair. Yes, I had a Brittney accident. I felt terrible.  I found out that he likes wood, perferabley Oak.  When I am trying to let him cry himself to sleep, he is eating the railing on his crib.  we also found out that he will cry for 2 1/2 hours non stop.....  Oh yes, last night Joe and I tried because he woke up about 4:30 am and was crying so we tried letting him CRY IT OUT...I put on Ear Muffs ( the ones for when you shoot guns) and let him go. Finally after about 2 1/2 hours Joe couldn't take it anymore.  Please we need advice..........I know we shouldn't have taken him out of his crib after that long but.......but.....it breaks your heart.  Until you pick him up and he stops crying instantly.  Please all you mothers out there help me.  I feel like I am mean to let him cry, but there is nothing wrong with him and he most the time doesn't even have any tears.  Also he needs to know I am the Mom, the adult, the one in control, Right? Boy oh boy let the fun begin.....I am going to calling the super nanny before he is a year old! I don't understand He went from sleeping through the night since he was about 8 weeks old to not. I do hold him until he falls asleep and then I put him in his crib, both for naps ans bedtime.  Lately he has been waking up about the same time everynight.  when I go comfort him he is standing in the crib crying and I can not hold him for a couple of minutes and put him back in his crib he starts screaming.  So I tried letting him fall asleep on his own, we did good the first night it was only about 45 minutes of crying and he feel asleep the next night it was 1 1/2 and I thought that was too long, the next night we did great but I held him until he feel asleep and last night....it was a long one.  Well if you anyone has any advice please give it to me...even if you think I am not going to like it.  Thank you for listening to me babble.

07/11/2006   So a lot has happened since I last updated.  I left Owen, over night....Not as bad as I thought it might be.  Thank You Grandma Verner. We went to my cousins wedding, which was beautiful.  I had a great time, I thought Joe and I got our pictures taken too, but they must be on my sisters camera.   Owen is doing great, climbing, crawling, standing...you name he is into it.  We started having trouble with him sleeping though.  He was doing great, going to sleep at 8:30  and sleep until 7:30 in the morning and now he seems to want to stay up until 10:00.  I think it maybe because of teething, or due to it being light outside longer...who knows.  I put him in his crib and he stands up in it and just yells at me....very sad...they say let them cry it out?  Wow thats hard.  I have made it 30 min. and that has been the longest. Boy is being a mom hard sometimes, It is use to be so easy to cuddle him and get him to sleep, no more cuddling.

My husband was a real sweetheart and for my 4 year Anniversary.  He went and got Owens pictures taken with him and his Grandma Linda. Sweet...It was a suprise when I got home from work, a 8x10 picture of the two of them was sitting on the table for me. I will try to post them soon. Well, must be going now. Thanks for signing the guestbook.  Love ya all.

06/26/2006  So it's been a while.  Happy Birthday to Uncle Jimmy.

We have been pretty busy.  Owen has four teeth now and is biting everything, including me.  He weighs 16 lbs. 10 oz. and is 27 1/2 inches long.  My little peanut.  We had a great time in Myrtle Beach.  Thank you Aunt Katie and Uncle Jason.  Love and Miss you.  Sorry I haven't updated much

Happy Birthday

Zach, Aunt Bobbie, and Cousin Brandy

love ya
