Welcome Home Grandma and Aunt Katie Good Luck Cousin Kelly she is ready to have a baby boy! 05/22/2206 Busy week....Grandma Linda is home...Aunt Katie is home.... Wendy and I got to go out on friday to have a little mommy time, it was very nice. Thank you Ma and Pa "P", we were home by 10:00p.m. though, what a diiference. Then on Saturday we had a gathering at my friend Carries house. A few people I use to work at Outback with, we all had babies so we got them together. It was very nice. Then on Sunday we got to see Katie....yeah we really missed her.
05/11/2006 Congratulations to my cousin Julia and Jeremy, they had a baby girl. I bet that is a real relief, she was induced because her baby liked it in her belly. We went drag racing as you can see by the pictures. Joe raced his bike he made it into the 4th round and then red lighted. It was fun we had a little picnic and watched the races. Owen didn't mind it at all, we had the ear muff and he left them on for the most part. We also got Macey and Owen's pictures taken again, very cute if I must say so myself. I will try to post them soon. Hope everyone has a Happy mothers Day. Talk to you all soon. 05/03/2006 Thank You Uncle Bud! Uncle Bud had the pleasure of watching Owen on Tuesday. He broke him in well, the first time changing a diaper and it was poopie. Good Job "O". Matter of fact three out of four diapers were soiled. It did look like they had fun though. Owen also if you saw the pictures has two teeth and the top incisors are trying to poke through. He is sitting pretty much unsupported now, still falling from side to side sometimes. His daddy bought him a walker for our driveway. He really likes it, he knows how to go backwards but has not quit figured out forward yet. I am really enjoying this stage, he is able to do so much more. The interaction is both ways instead of it always being me. Owen's Grandpa Phillips bought himself a new toy, now we are all bikers. Yes, that is right Peewee bought a motorcycle. I believe it is a road star, YAMAHA? it is really nice. Well I am at work so I must go. Sorry I don't update this as often as the picture but you all like the pictures better. 04/17/2006 Happy Easter. Hope everyone had a great Easter. The Easter bunny did stop at our house for Owen. He left a swing for outside, some babyfood, a couple of outfits, a silky blanket, a teething toy, some more food and money for his swing set. Thank you Easter Bunny. We had a great Easter it is always nice to get together with family. 04/07/2006 Congrats goes out to my co-worker and friend Rachele, they had a baby girl on March 30th her name is Gabriella Lucia. Also our friends Gabbie and Jeff found out today they are having a boy...yeah more friends for "O". Owen has his first tooth coming in, it is in far enough it hurts when he chews on your finger now. One more thing to do before bed now...Brusha, Brusha, Brusha. Well, sorry to cut it short but he just woke up from his nap. Talk to you soon. Atleast I got pictures on..... 03/30/2006 Sorry it's been so long. Owen went to the doctors on friday the 24th. He is doing good, He weighs 14 1/2 pounds and is 26 inches long. We have to get his heart murmur checked, we are going to beegley again for a EKG. He also had a little fluid in his right ear. He had a little cold, I thought it was just from teething but doctor said he thinks it was a slight cold. Always something huh? Congrats to our friend Rachele and Greg they had a baby girl today! Gabriella Happy Birthday. Hope every one enjoyed the warm weather today. We have plans to take the babies for a walk in the park tommorrow. Macey, Owen,Carson and Chloe.Hope it doesn't rain. I got a call today saying my cousin Cassie had her baby. She had a girl 5 weeks early. She weighed 5 and 1/2 pounds. The message said they were both doing great. Congratulations and we love you Monica. Happy Birthday! I was looking at all the pictures on the website and Owens eyes always look black. I still do not know what color his eyes are going to be. They are almost a grey color. Somedays they look blue others grey, they say you won't know until about one year. I am thinking maybe they will be hazel because they change so much. We go for our 6 month check up on friday and of course another round of shots. Hopefully all goes well. Hope you are enjoying the site, I am trying to keep up to date.
03/14/06 Happy Birthday Ran-dandi. TheBig 30 We had a busy week, Grandma Verner and Aunt Jaymee came home. We had alot of fun. We also had a birthday party to go to our friends Mark and Randi they both turned 30. I had fun but boy as you get older it gets harder. Aunt Jaymee got to meet Owen and Macey on saturday, it was very nice but it made me miss her. Maybe someday I can go to Cali. It was funny she woke up on Sunday and said her muscle in her arm hurt, she isn't use to carrying babies. We took Grandma V and Grandpa Bill back to Pittsburgh to catch thier flight on Sunday and we drove a mini van. I realized how useful they are. Maybe someday I will be a soccer mom. It is very nice to be able to walk around while driving. Well, thanks for coming to visit Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Jaymee, We Love and Miss You. New photos are from grandma's camera, I will be posting more.Talk to you soon.Thanks for signing guest book. 03/08/2006 We had a get together today for Grandma Linda, she is home to see baby "O". It was very nice, Aunt Carol baught me a great book, it is a story about a train but it is about baby "O" his friends and the train station in his home town. You get the book made just for an individual. Very cute idea...Thank You again Aunt Carol. Aunt Barb and Uncle John baught Owen a snoopy and a very cute outfit, it was very nice of them. It was really nice to get everyone together in such a quick notice. Grandma Linda hasn't kissed Owen's face off yet but I think her lips are getting tired. Aunt Jaymee is finally going to meet Owen on Saturday, she is coming home from Cali to see him, can't wait. I miss her. Happy Belated Birthday too Jay Jay Congratulations to my cousin Angel and her husband Kris they had a baby Boy on March 6th. Charles Alexander 9lbs. 11-13 oz. God Bless you Angel you have big babies. Hope all is well and make sure to cover that little boy quick when you change him. Love and Miss you, Congratulations. 03/01/2006 Finally we heard results........He is perfect, just like we thought. Haha Uncle Jimmy I do to work I just don't work very hard all the time, you neither. Aunt Jaymee I can't wait to see you let me know, we have a birthday party for Marky on that saturday so maybe you could see alot of us old friends. I think I heard daddy talking to Grandma Linda today and I think she is going to come home and see me. She is going to be so happy to see me, I bet she is going to kiss me all over too. Aunt Sonya thank you for being so concerned, mommy didn't tell you all of that on the phone because she would of cried...It was very hard to handle but my little buddy did good so, it made it much easier. So did ANgel have a happy healthy baby? Did Cassie make it home? Love ya all talk to you soon. 02/25/2005 Owens MRI is over........ Now is the waiting game. He did great! We got to the hospital at 7:45 a.m. They came in and weighed him, changed his clothes into a hospital gown that would fit a 2 year old. He weighed 13 lbs. 3 oz. yep little skinny guy still. Then they took his blood pressure, oxygen rate and came in and put a salve on his arms and legs to prep him for the I.V. They put it on both hands, crease of arms and on both feet, this is a numbing salve. Owen did great with all of that. Mind you he hasn't eaten for a 13 hours now. So about 30 minutes go by and they come and get us to go down stairs...it's time...we get down there and are sitting there for about 10 minutes and the doctor comes in and says it will at least be another hour or two....If looks could kill he would of died...I said do you realize he hasn't eaten for 14 hours and it will be almost 16 hours by the time of the test. He said I'm sorry..Yada yada..at least that is what I heard. My son was being an angel, he hadn't cried yet. All the nurse kept saying is he always that good, I didn't brag because I was afraid he was ready to break loose at any minute. So finally we go back up to our room sit there for about an hour and they came and got us again. Thank God for a pacifier, I think Owen sucked a hole in the one he had. Still he hadn't really cried. Thank Goodness because Joe and I wouldn't have been so nice. We sat for an hour in the waiting area and then we got to see him in recovery. I could hear him crying as we walked down the hall, as we walked in he was laying in the crib with all these wires on him so I couldn't even pick him up. Talk about breaking your heart. But he heard and felt mommy and daddy and quit crying. He had a monitor on his chest, a blood pressure cuff on his arm, a cast and I.V. on his foot and leg and an oxygen rate thing on his other big toe. A lot to take in. The nurse said he did very well but that he moved a lot, I guess he kicked his IV out the first time so that is why the cast was on so he couldn't bend his leg. He didn't want to be put to sleep. We had to stay in recovery for 45 minutes; he finally got to eat a little sugar water. He sucked that down in about 2 minutes. Then we had to remove all the monitors and tape, which the nurse and I were afraid he was going to wail during this because the chest monitor covered his whole torso, and they taped the heck out of his foot because of him kicking. But, Owen laughed as if she was tickling his foot and just laid there when she removed the chest one. God Bless him I hope he stays this calm it makes parenting much easier. It wasn't a bad experience; I give that all to Owen though because if he would have gotten upset I know I would of too. He received a nice blanket and a book from the hospital and a hero badge. On Friday he acted like I starved him he ate every two hours and he would have eaten no stop I think if I would of let him. Back too normal. I am supposed to hear results on Monday...Cross your fingers and say some prayers. I love you all and thank you for you support. Long day and story huh? Thank you for being so good baby "O" and thank you for going with us Nana. John Mellecamp is coming to Youngstown, Ohio...Who would like to go with us? If the tickets are not outragous...Joe and I would like to go. The date is April 11th I don't even know what day of the week it is,but who cares it's John Mellencamp. Let me know and watch for more info, let me know if you hear anymore about it. 02/18/2006 So my husband tried being nice and planning a weekend out for Valentines Day he asked my mom to baby sit and stay at our house. We went out with about 5 other couples to the Station Square for dinner and then to the Comedy Club, my husband wanted to stay the night at the holiday Inn. But I was a big party pooper and wouldn't stay the night away from my son. The comedian was pretty good, I forget his name...a big Greek Guy. All in all it was a good night, it was nice to go out with all our friends. Our next big night out will probably be St. Patty's Day. My absolute Favorite Holiday.... We are already working on Wendy, trying to prepare her to seperate from Macey. Her sisters birthday is the same week . Aunt Jaymee that would big a great weekend...(Can't wait to see you) Wendy and I use to have to be pulled out of the bars on St. Patty's Day. Boy how our life changes. I bet I won't be getting kicked of of tables this year. We use to meet at the Lube early in the morning and celebrate all day. Go to work the next day and have to put cotton rolls up my nose, thats a time when my job isn't so good. Anyways, Thank you to the people who have left response on the website, I love to hear from you, it makes me feel like I am not wasting my time with this website. Also Good Game Zach, we all went to his soccer game the other night, and then out to Dad's favorite restaraunt. Potosino's . It was nice a family gathering. Don't forget Sonya and Dale we would like to go swimming before my pool is open. I would like to see you camper too. We are praying for you Dale, keep your head up high. Also my Cousin Cassie is having some complications with her pregnancy, she is in Germany because her husband is fighting the war in Iraq. Good luck Cassie and we are praying for you. Hopefully you can come home to the States so you can understand what is going on. The hospital has very broken English so it is hard to know what is happening. I believe she is close to 32 weeks. We are all thinking of you. Love ya Baby "O" started realizing he has a voice now even more then before, he now has a squeel. My dad said it is from making him be a steelers fan, ha ha squeelers. Love you all and please keep me updated by signing my guestbook. 02/15/2006 Happy Birthday Owen you are 5 months old today. Happy Valentines Day to you all...A day late. So here are some new photos. Macey and Owen both. Owen goes on Thursday the 23 of Feb. for his MRI. They are going to put him to sleep for the test. But then hopefully they will find out he is just perfect, like he is in our eyes. I am trying to be very positive...the worst that will happen is he will need surgery, but I think it is going to be superficial and go away on it's own.( I forgot to tell you I became a Doctor while I was pregnant too. ha ha ) He now is eating sweet peas, sweet potatos and green beans. Believe it or not he seems to like the peas the best. Well I must go back to work. Hope you all enjoy the new photos. Thanks for responding Aunt Shanon 02/09/2006 I think Owen looks like his daddy. I think he has my eyes and unfortunately even my lazy one. You can notice it when he is really tired. I thought he looked just like me when he was first born but now a little more like Joe, handsome as can be. Hope you enjoy the pictures and please be sure to add your comments. 02/06/2006 So the Steelers won the Superbowl. Yeah......... Not too much has happened. We have to talk to the doctor still about wether or not we are going to Todd's for the MRI or to Cleveland. Poor Owen has to be put to sleep for the MRI so I want it done once and only once. If he has to have surgery I think it would be done in Cleveland or Akron so that is were I want the MRI done. ( I think) Very confusing and scary. On a happy note Great Grandma Phillips had a birthday and the whole family got together for her and celebrated. We also bought her a new television, which ahe badly needed. Owen and Macey are going to get thier pictures taken together on Friday so you can look forward to new photos. They had a date on Friday but Owen was being grumpy and wouldn't sleep so it was kind of cut short. I also am trying to get baby pictures of both Joe and I to post them so you all can compare. It is so funny to hear oh he looks like you, and others wow he looks like daddy. So we will have another poll as soon as I get all the pictures gathered and posted.
