Stories Nov. 16th Baby Owen went to doctors today. He is growing like a weed. He weighs 10 lbs. and is 23 1/2 inches. He grew four inches in 2 months. He also got his shots today, he sure did cry. We saw real tears for the third time. We also slept for 7 hours last night. I think it is because he has a little bit of a cold. He started having a stuffy nose last night. Doctor said he is doing great, he is very alert. I went back to work for a day, I subbed for my sub. It actually wasn't that bad. It felt good to be out, although I did really miss my baby. I think it will be hard to go back full time, but somethings you just have to do. I guess I just enjoy this last month.. We will talk to you all soon. Nov. 12th Well lets see, we went to visit our friends in Winona. They have a little boy Nick, who is 13 months old. Friends from hygiene school. He is just too cute, he seemed to like Joe. I need to Thank Marsha, if you ever get on the website. She let me barrow a ton of clothes for Owen. Auntie Nancy also came over to visit me we had fun. They brought some yummy pizza over. Wendy and I braved the mall yesterday. Shopping with two babies two days in a row. Wow, lots of work. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to make it through khol's. We had a blast though. We did a lot of laughing. We both decided we need either a double stroller or a Mini Van. Never thought I would say that. Two car seats, two diaper bags, two strollers and all our shopping bags, my car was pretty full. Everybody stopped us and said "TWINS"? We said NO Just Friends, one lady said since birth? That sounded good. Friends since birth.... We have a big weekend, birthday party today for our friend Ben and his Baby girl Bayne. Happy Birthday to you both. Ben is the BIG 30 and we have the big game tomorrow. GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you all Nov 7th Here are some photos that my uncle took, he did a great job. Uncle Bill a little editing and look how cute. Thank You very much. Love ya Nov. 3 We went shopping yesterday with Grandma "V". She bought me all kinds of cute outfits. She spoils me. She is leaving for Florida, we sure are going to miss her, but she will be back and we will be sure to keep her informed. We were talking about taking bets on whether she stays in Fl. for the whole six months without coming home to visit. Daddy and Mommy say she won't make it that long. We will see. I put some new photos on that she took the other night and I will be putting more on soon. Nov.2 CONGRATULATIONS Again to our friends Kandi, Chad, and Chloe, they had a little baby boy on Oct.31 st. I believe his name will be Carson Jacob. Another friend for Owen.
THANK YOU to my Uncle Bill for coming over and having a photo session, I can?t wait to see the photos. I can?t thank you enough. We will keep in touch about future shoots. I did talk to a couple of friends and they said heck yeah?..Before even seeing your work?
We went Trick Or Treating at Aunt shanon?s on Monday. Grandma ?P? made me a pea outfit, but I threw up on the sleeper so it needs washed before you can see photos or when we get our photos from uncle bill. Macey and Owen need their photos taken together.
Owen is sleeping in his crib now, and he sleeps for about 5 hours a night. He doesn?t go to bed until like midnight though, but all in all I cannot complain. He is a very noisy sleeper so therefore sleeping in his crib I don?t hear every little noise and go and run and pick him up. He still likes to be held until he falls asleep, but I love doing that. Because I know some day he won?t like to cuddle anymore. Well, thanks for watching and listening to my stories.
Nate, I hope you survived OU?s Halloween Party?? OCT 23 SO WE GOT TO GO OUT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT, AFTERNOON REALLY. WENDY AND I AND OUR HUSBANDS WENT OUT FOR A COUPLE OF DRINKS, WE LEFT AT FOUR AND WERE BACK BY NINE. BIG NIGHT OUT. IT FELT GOOD THOUGH. IT WASN?T AS BAD AS I EXPECTED, WE NEW OUR BABIES WERE SAFE AND THEIR GRANDPARENTS WERE IN HEAVEN. ALTHOUGH IT WAS KIND OF BORING, NOBODY WAS OUT. OR WE WERE JUST OUT REALLY EARLY, WHO KNOWS. AND WE TALKED ABOUT OUR BABIES A LOT.
I ALSO HAD A BABY SHOWER YESTERDAY FOR MY FRIEND DANIELLE, SHE IS HAVING A BABY GIRL IN DECEMBER. I REALLY ENJOYED IT I GOT TO SEE MY OLD FRIENDS FROM OUTBACK. MY FRIEND MOLLY JUST HAD A BABY BOY, HIS NAME IS NATHAN AND MY FRIEND TIFFANY IS DUE IN NOVEMBER WITH A LITTLE GIRL. THREE MORE LITTLE BUDDIES FOR OWEN. I THINK WE ARE IN A BABY BOOM RIGHT NOW. IT SEEMS LIKE ALL MY FRIENDS ARE HAVING BABIES, HAD BABIES, OR ARE TRYING.

Oct 2o th Happy Birthday Great Aunt Sandy Not a whole lot has happened, Daddy and his friends made a motor cross track for thier remote control cars in our field, he says it for me when I get older...We will see. If Daddy keeps all his toys, my kid sure will have a lot to play with. We are still having trouble with Owen sleeping at night, he loves to be held. They say you can't spoil them when they are this young. Nana P and Great Aunt Sandy came over to see me yesterday, Great Aunt Sandy said I have Pixie Ears, Thanks Aunt Bobbie.... She also said my eye brows have a red tint to them. That is when I said Hey Hey now be nice....( I don't think they are red I think they are blond) Grandma P made up for not seing me for a couple of days she kissed me all over, and wouldn't let me down. I wonder why he likes being held. Tomorrow I am going to meet another new friend Chloe, her mommy is pregnant and is due on Nov. 11th and then I will have another friend. I can't believe how many friends my son is going to have around his age, it is going to be so much fun. Thank You Aunt Bobbie and Tim for the gift of money. Love ya Oct.17 th Yesterday we had a family get together at Grandma Linda's. Everyone got to meet Owen it was very nice. It was suppose to be sending them off to Florida but they are stuck here for three more weeks. We also went to a Nascar party on Saturday and Owen met another friend, she is a week older and has the same initials as him. They both are "OG" 'S We were having difficulty with Owen sleeping at night, he always wanted to be held so we are trying the car seat because he loves that, last night he did great but we will see. He is a great baby so far; he is ready to eat every three hours and enjoys cuddling. (Me too) Joe is doing great also, I couldn't ask for a better daddy. I just have to keep trying to let him do things his way. I keep saying to myself, if it doesn't hurt him then it is okay if its not my way. I'm good too, so glad its still nice out because I love taking Owen out. It feels so good to be able to do what ever I want again. I am teaching Owen to shop, so his wife can thank me later. I can't believe I go shopping and don't even look at stuff for me. It's all about "O" Go figure I am one of those Mom's I laughed at. But that is why we waited because we were both selfish and now it's all about him. We will keep in touch. Thank You to Uncle Preston and Pam for the gift card. We will be sure to use it. Target seems to have best price on formula. (Gave up on the other, my son would starve.) Hope all is well, it won't be long and you two will have another grandbaby. Does she know what she is having yet? Hope to see you around Christmas. Sorry it took me so long to update the website, but I made up for it. Aren't our little ones just too darn cute. Oct. 14 th Happy Birthday to our friend Marsha and Jeff?s baby Boy. He was one yesterday. Owen had a visiting nurse come to the house to help make sure he is doing good. He is doing great . He weighed in at 7lbs. 4 ounces and he grew a little too?.He is now 20 ¼ inch long. He is almost out of preemie clothes, Thank goodness I only have about 4-5 outfits so he is starting to where newborn outfits because they fit pretty good too. Wendy, my mom, my sister and bud, and Macey and Owen went to the pumpkin patch yesterday, we had fun. I don?t know if they enjoyed it as much as we did . We got great pictures! Well I am getting Owens one month pictures taken today so I will soon be posting them too. Thank you for visiting and keep signing the guest book. I love to know who cares about us. Love ya
Oct. 2 nd Well, a lot has happened. Aunt Wendy and Uncle Rj had a baby girl on September 30 th. She is Owens first friend, Her name is Macey Marie and she weighed in a 6lb 7oz. 18 ¾ long. Wendy and I planned our pregnancies together and I wanted an October baby. When we found out we were both pregnant we never thought it would of worked out as planned. She was two weeks behind me. I delivered early, so we thought they would end up being a month apart. But, little did we know she would deliver early to. They still are now only 15 days apart. Both, healthy thank goodness. It is really nice to have someone so close to you going through the same experience. Owen is doing great, although I think a little spoiled already. He has a cranky time between 10:00 and 2:00 am. If you hold him he is content, but if you lay him in his crib or bassinet, he cries. They say you can?t spoil them this young, right. Well, speak of the devil he is ready to eat. Enjoy the photos and Congratulations Wendy and Rj Love ya both. Sept. 28 th We had our two-week check up yesterday. It went well, He is back up to his birth weight. Dr. had to cautarize his umbilical cord. Owen didn?t even cry, of course he slept through it. He also has blocked tear ducts, so we have to massage the tear duct and put drops in. He explained it is pretty common, so no need to worry. Owen initiated the doctor too?He was checking his circumcision and got sprayed, to anyone who ever changes his diaper?Beware! We still sleep a whole lot, but that is good because that means I?m growing, so they say. He is still wide-awake around 10:00 p.m. night owl. Hopefully we get that to change. Sept. 25th My Umblical Cord fell off and guess what....We can't find it! I wonder if Maggie ate it? Don't ask how we lost it, but we did. I went to change him this morning and it was gone and no where to be found. So we got our first real bath today too, boy did he ever scream. I don't think he liked it too much. We also went for our first real trip out into the public last night. We went out to dinner, he slept the whole time. I got a Cosmo that I craved the whole time I was pregnant. Boy was it ever good! I limited myself to one but boy did I want another one. Two more days and another trip to Doctors, hopefully mommy has fattened me up some. Well must go watch the game...Go Steelers!!!! and Good Game OSU Oh yeah, Thanks Aunt Jaymee, I recieved the package and was wondering for days who it was from. I finally got the letter in the mail yesterday. Very good idea. Aunt Wendy -Hang in there- It is All worth it. I started to wonder too, but you will soon find out. It is amazing you can love someone so much, in such a short time. Just ask Joe! It is instant love that you just can't explain. He or She will arrive when he or she is ready and then my Little "O" will hopefully have his best friend for life. Love ya
Sept. 24th Well, Its been a little over a week. We went to the doctors when he was 5 days old. Just to make sure everything was okay. They sent him for a bilirubin test again, for jaundice. He passed, thank godness. He still only ways about 6 lbs, but doctor says that is okay because he hasn't lost anymore. We go back on his 2 week birthday and he gets a check up again. So far he has been a great baby. He is up of course more at night, his most alert time is around 10:00p.m. but that is good because then he can have daddy time. Joe has been great, It is true that Tough little dads turn into big babies, like that country song. I love it. It is amazing what love you can have in such a short time. Oh one question for you parents that have boys what is the trick of not peeing up your back? I thought it may be due to the diapers not fiting correctly but, I have tried three differnt kinds. Any advice will help, and yes I pointed it down to see if that would help. Talk to you all soon, love ya Sept. 19th We made it! Go Steelers, Lookin good! Sept.13 What the heck, did my baby start listening? My docotor thinks its funny. They said 12 -48 hours after being off my pump, we would probably meet him. But I took it off Friday at 2:00 and nothing yet. I did want to make it to my best friends shower and I did so I can't complain. I do have a back ache and I can now feel the contractions but nothing consistant. I even tried eating Taco Bell, a wives tale that it will make you go into labor. Well, please enjoy some new pictures and hopefully soon. SEPT. 8 Today was our big day, our doctors appointment. Everything we heard finally was good news. I am no longer on bedrest, I can do whatever I want. I take the medicine off tomorrow and we go from there. My doctor seems to think maybe 48 hours later to a week and Joe and I will be parents. He just laughs when he puts me on the non stress test monitor because he can't believe he can't slow my contractions down. I will be 36 weeks tomorrow. The baby looks healthy and there is no mistaken, its a boy, he was spread eagle today. Finally good news! What a relief it was to get out of the house. I went and did some shopping today a few last minute things and returned some items from the shower. Boy did that feel good. Well, soon it will be all about the baby lets hope!
