Congratulations to Our friends Bobby and Lisa.  They had a Baby Boy on Friday!  6lbs 140z. 20 inches long.  Take it easy Mama Lisa.  Congrats again.

August 28th

We made it to our safe zone! Now we only have 11 1/2 more days until I can take this sub Q med out and get do what ever I want to.  Go Walking, shopping, clean, you name it I am doing it.

Yesterday I had my shower.  Boy did it feel good to get out of the house. My shower was perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything more.  I think we got just about everything we will need.  My front living room is now completely full.  My wonderful husband and family get to put everything away. (maybe bed rest isn't that bad) Joe doesn't think we need all the stuff we got for one baby, he just kept saying what is this, how does this work?  Oh boy, is this going to be fun.  He says when he has the baby it is going to wear a t-shirt and a diaper.  He isn't going to dress him up like a "sissy".  Wed. is going to be Daddy's day when I go back to work so he will have to learn sooner or later.  I'm sure he will be a great Dad, he might not do everything my way but, that is what make a well rounded individual. He asked if anyone got him his first motorcycle. Thank goodness I could say no Not yet!  I know it is in future though. Well I don't have much news, but that is good. I will keep you all updated and hopefully get some more photos on the website.

Special Thanks to  Aunt Shanon, Grandma "P" and Grandma Linda.  My shower was perfect. Love ya

August 25th

Almost made it to 34 weeks which is the safe zone.  I am doing good, mentally going a little crazy but, overall good.  I do not wish bed rest upon even my worst enemy.  I have plenty of time to think, which isn't always good.  I will be able to get out this Saturday for my shower, although I must sit, I wil still be able to leave my house.  Can't wait!  My contractions are about the same I have about four an hour. Not great but Dr. says good for me.  He just keeps telling me, you look like easy patient, but your not....Joe asked him if he was calling his wife a pain in the ass? Of course he says oh No No, she just looks so healthy and is easy going.  He must not know me huh?  Well all is well for another week, soon this website will be all about baby and not mama.  Love to hear from everyone, please sign the guest book.  It is very easy to do.  Just click on guest book and begin typing.

Aug. 20th

Not much action, which is good.  My mother and I had to change my injection site yesterday.  It wasn't bad but, we did it wrong the first time so we then had to redo it.  She all in all got to stab me three times.  Pay backs...

My contractions have slowed a little bit, last night I only one big one in an hour but this morning I am back up to four. Much better then they were though.  We are having a poll on when baby V will be born, weight, time, day, length...It is 50/50 It cost $6.00 each bid.  Anyone is welcome to play, it is all in fun! A little help, he is already 4lbs 8 oz so the Dr. says and I am 33 weeks yesterday.  Good Luck! And No the Winner doesn't get to pick his name.

I thought winter was the time to make babies but I hear Congratulations goes out to My two cousins Cassie and Angel and My friend Rachele.  May you all have a safe and easy pregnancy. Love ya

August 18th

Well, where to begin.....I went to my appointment on Thursday August 11th.  Everthing was going great, Dr. said everything looked good, but I had to do a non stress test.  So I get on the stress test which, monitors babies heart beat and see if I am having contractions.  Needless to say off we went to hospital.  I was having contractions, I was in pre term labor.  I had to go to the new hospital in Boardman.  Beegley.  I was admitted and the fun began.  Luckly after a few rough days they have gotten my contractions to slow down. I was released on monday night.  I am on complete bed rest, I have a subcutaneous matria pump in my leg that constantly gives me meds.  I have to monitor my contractions with a device at home and send them via telephone. (Kinda like a fax.) I do it once in morning and once at night unless I am past my threshold and then I give myself more meds and re do it.  So far it hasn't been that bad, much better then laying in hospital bed.

Baby Verner seems to be doing great through all of this.  He is approx. 4lbs. 8 oz. They gave me two steroid shots to help develope his lungs, just incase he comes early. They assure me that the meds I am on are not harming him.  They make my heart race and make me jittery, they say it doesn't effect him, how I don't know....I just keep thinking everday he is in my belly is one less day in the NICU.  Well, please pray for us...I will try to keep in touch.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT CAME TO VISIT AND CALLED.   I KNOW I WASN'T ALWAYS THE NICEST PERSON.  I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

August 8th

Well, not too much excitement today.  I thought I would add some pictures of the nursery.  It is almost complete.  I don't want to get it completely ready, a little supersticious, and don't want it to get dusty.  My babies room is in Moon and Stars, we kept it nuetral beacause I didn't want to find out what the gender was.  Well, needless to say I lost that battle.  But thats okay, I like my room...  We had a new water softner and filtration system put in the house today, so baby verner has yummy water and so his hair doesn't turn red from iron.  Gotta Love "Well Water".(It made me gag the first 4 months of pregnancy everytime I brushed my teeth.)  No our water was okay but we drink alot of water and the system that was in the house was 20 years old. But now, mmmmmmmmmm Our water is good and we have pressure.  (Oh yeah Aunt Bobby no more water trickling showers if you flush the toliet.)

The picture of the little girl on my lap is Madison, she is our friends Goose and Shannon's daughter.  She is 14 months old and looks just like her father. Maybe she will be baby Verners' girlfriend one day...She is a hottie... Well hope everyone is enjoying this website.  I am trying to keep it organized.  I might have to ask Aunt Shanon, the computer geek for some help!  Please sign the guest book and give me some suggestions.  Love ya all

Week 29 - July 28th

Well we got good news today, baby verner weighs 3.78 lbs.  His heartbeat is 137 which is good also. But we also recieved bad news with Mama, My cervix is still shortening.  Dr. is afraid that I will go into pre term labor, therefore I am on partial bedrest and no longer allowed to work.  I still have 10 weeks to go........Lets hope he isn't impatient !

Week 30 Aug 7th

Well, I made it a week on partial bed rest......I go back to the doctors on Thursday, so I will know more then.  Baby seems to be good still, very active, ecspecially at night.  I think he maybe trying to move into the right postion.  He is kicking me in my ribs.  We went and saw Dukes of Hazzard the other night and boy did he like that. He moved the whole movie.  Well I will keep you all posted.
