Stories Sept 28 Well the folks were here for a week and Bryce had a blast with Nana and Paw Paw. He went swimming everyday with Paw Paw and Paw Paw played Tball with him everyday. Nana read to him and bryce read to Nana. They also played board games and got to meet his teacher and see where he goes to school. Nana and Paw Paw had a great time while they were here. Alex took Paw Paw to see a Dbacks game and we took the folks down to Westgate where the Superbowl was played at last year. It is still in the 100's here hopefully we will have cooler weather soon. This month is going to be busy for us. Our friends Jen and Digger are coming for a weekend and we are going to watch the Cardials play the Cowboys. We also have our Crud tourney and halloween kids party and of coures trick or treating. And last but not least we show finally know where we will be going next. We keep everyone posted when that comes out. Bryce is still loving school. He has started reading beginner books. He is doing really good. He also add and subtract some. It is amazing how much they learn when they hit kindergarden. He is growing too fast. bryce will be playing Tball in Nov. Well that is all for now Sept 7 We had a really fun Labor day weekend in San Diego it was a blast. We went with the squadron. We got to play on the beach and bryce got to pet and feed some dolphins and we had a beach party. But our air condition went out the last day we were there. So we had to ride back to Phoenix in the hot not fun but we made it. We should find out in Oct where we are going not too much longer. My parents are coming out in a week and we have our friends the Davis coming out in Oct. Crud is in Oct so we will be busy. Bryce still loves school and is doing good. That is about it for now. Aug 10 Well it has been a sad month for us our dog Hunter passed away on the 25. We were on vacation and he was at the kennel. He would have been 13 in Oct. We miss him everyday but know he is in heaven. Bryce doesn't really understand and Hunter was a old dog when he was born. So Hunter didn't have a lot to do with Bryce. But Bryce told me he had a dream and Hunter was in heaven with Jesus and Jesus said Thank you. On a different note Bryce started kindergarden and loves it. He goes from 8:15 until 2:30. His teacher is Mrs Corando and from what I hear she is a very good teacher. Would you believe he got time out on the 2nd day for playing policeman and shooting guns at bad guys. I told him he can't play guns. He didn't like being in time out and said he will not do it again. Well we went to see the Dback play the Braves and the Dbacks gave the Braves the game. It was not a good game. We should be finding out where we are going in Oct. So that is all I have for now. May - 7 Well it has been a long time since my last update. We had a busy few months. We went to Ft Tuthill in Feb with our squadron and later that month alex had a TDY to Arlington, Tx and bryce and I went too. We got to visit with the Pressinger's,Comers,Padgett's and Kurek's. We got to meet all the new kids Luke.Hannah Padgettt and Ben and David Kurek. Bryce had so much fun playing with them. It was good to catch up with everybody. The we got back and went to Vegas stayed at a nice resort there. Got to visit with the Mulhare's and bryce got to spent the night with them while Alex and I went to a show KA it was awesome. We got to visit the Engberg's and got to meet Colby. It was fun seeing all of them. In April Bryce turned 5 and we had his party at the bowling alley on base. We had 12 kids there and it was a blast. He is growing up too fast. He will be graduating preschool the 22 and then off to kindergarden. I will miss him while he is at kindergarden all day but he is growing up. Alex was in charge of our squadron boothe at PIR nascar that same weekend and had to work that friday night. Well that about covers it our next big thing will be our assignment which we should find out in JUne. We mis all of you. Nov 12 Well it has not been a good 2 weeks the first week Smokey wasn't doing good so we had to take him to the animal Er on a Sunday which he had a bladder infection which we found out his food was causing it but we have him on meds and he has an appointment friday to see if it is cleared up. Last week Bryce's best friend from preschool lost his daddy to cancer he had been fighting it for 2 years it was a very sad week. We are good friends with his mom Becky please keep this family in your prayers. This weekend was Nascar and our squadron worked in a booth it was a long weekend and Alex was in change of getting us work in a booth. He worked on Sat and I worked on Sunday. So we are glad it is over Bryce got to see a Nascar car race he had a lot of fun running around with his daddy. It is going to be busy for the next 2 months with the holidays coming up. That is all we have for an update hope everyone is doing good. Oct 28 Well it has been a while we have been so busy this month. Our squadron a Halloween party for the kids and Mrs. B did a concert. Mrs B goes all over and performs for military kids it was a great show. I played Crud bout a week ago and am black and blue but we came in 3 place out of 7 teams it was a fun night. We went to a punkin patch and walked through a corn maze it was a hot day but we found the clues and put the map together. We wil be trick or treating with some friends on Wed. Smokey is not feeling good so we had to take him to the animal er. He has a Urinary tract infection with could turn into blockage. They suggest him be put in the hospital and flush out stuff and have a IV with fluids that was going to be a 1000 dollars so we went with the second option with medication which we hope work I am really upset about it. He seems to be feeling better but he is just peeing little with blood in his litter box.So keep Smokey in your prayers. It has cooled down here a little but got back in the 90's this week. Bryce is still enjoying preschool he has his fall party tomorrow. Well that is all for now. AUG 11 - We had an awesome time with Mommers and Gdaddy. Bryce was sad to see them go but he said he will see them next time. Mommers played a different game with hime everyday and got to check out his preschool and meet his teacher Mrs Deena. We also went to the Science Museum his friend Jaden and his Mom Mrs Becky met us there. We had a really good time with all the neat stuff to do and we went to Hooters for lunch. That was a fun day and ended it with swimming in the pool. We also went to the new Stadium where the 2008 Superbowl is going to be. We did an interesting tour where we learned that the field slides in and out. And they can open the top of the Stadium but once they do they can't close it because of the NFL rules because it could change affect the game. Both teams have to agree on opening it before they can. We saw all the private rooms and you can buy box for 7500 dollars and it can hold 125 people. So we learned alot of neat stuff. We would spend the end of the day in the pool where Bryce showed Mommers and Gdaddy how well he can swim and some neat tricks like the Chinchela tripwhich as Mommer's favorite and the tidalwave,the cannonballand the canopener. Bryce also show how he can surf on his kickall and lets not forget alex's Bellagio. That was a real hit also. Of course we had to watch Hell's Kitchen but we were disappointed when it wasn't the finale and we have to wait a week to fing out who wins. And we watch Big Brother the 3 nights it was on.The WII was a big hit with GDaddy and Mommers played some too. So as you can see we had a wonderful visit with Mommers and Gdaddy. Oh Mommers and I got to go to the Heard Museum where saw a room of different Indian tribes it was neat. We had so much fun with them and miss them already. Bryce had a good first week at school all but on friday he wasn't nice to one of his friends but he has learned from it and will make better choices next time. July 8 We had a awesome time in San Diego. Bryce didn't want to come back. We did the beach,Legoland,SeaWorld,Zoo and the a Water park it was a great time. We spent 7 days there . We actually stayed in Carlsbad what an awesome place. It was only 70 degreses alot cooler then a 116 which is here. I was little chilly there after leaving Phoenix at 107. My brother Charlie came out to visit from Jackson Ms. Bryce had so much with him he was sad when he left. We just hung out like old times and swimmed and watch fireworks it was a good time. He said it was too hot for him here. He really liked Phoenix. We have been busy so far this summer with our vistors and our trip. bryce has been going to camp at his preschool and loves it. He will be taking swim lesson out at the base this week. Well that is all I have for now. MAY - 28 W e had so much fun this weekend our friends that we knew from Korea came to visit us. They are living in Vegas now so they drove up on Thurs and got here on Thurs night and left on Sunday. WE got to meet gabby who I call Gabby Girl she is 13 months and is a sweetie I fell in love with her. We had so much fun with them this weekend and bryce was a good boy for the most part. He played with gabby and didn't want her to go home. WE hung out at the pool and had the kirmus over and grilled out. They are friends we knew from Korea so the Comers got to meet sweet Scarlett who I just love. We are so blessed to have our family and friends in our lives. Please remember the people serving our country and their families. April 22 I finally am updating this site. We a fun easter bryce had a Easter party at his school and got to hunt eggs he also did the egg hunt on base. We went over to The nelson's house and had brunch and bryce got to hunt eggs with jacob which he had a blast doing. We had the big birthday party at the bowling alley on the 14th. There were 22 kids there yes you heard right but it was a blast for all the kids and bryce racked up on the presents. We took him to Red Robin for dinner on his birthday and the waiters sang Happy Birthday and he got a free sundae. I took cupckes to his school the day before his birthday and all the kids sang happy birthday to him so we celebrated all week and with all the presents he got in the mail from familt I would said this little boy had an awesome birthday. I can't believe he is 4 and of course he got sent to the office for wanting to be the line leader and when Mrs crystal told him it wasn't his turn he sat down with his arms folded and kept wanting to do it. So after not getting through to him Mrs Crystal threated to send him to the office and he would not stop so off he went. When they send them to the office they just sit in a chair for about 10 minutes but Mrs Crystal said it was a good thing it happen because when he got back he was a very good boy. He got into trouble when he got home. He said he didn't like the office. So he is in a phase right and Mrs Crystal said it was normal of course I am worried about him. She told be not to be. Just at the end here he has been acting up! He said he was going to be good next week. My friend angie is coming from al to visit for a week. Bryce is excited to pick her up at the airport of course he will have her wrapped around his fingure. We should have alot of fun with her. This weekend we worked in the yard and I give the boys haircuts nothing to exciting and alex had a graduation to go to Sat night so that is about for now. Bryce is writing his name now well should I say you can see that is what he is trying to do. So that is it for now until next time. We are thinking about all the victims and their families from Viriginia Tech they are in our prayers. March 5 It has been awhile since I have updated this so here goes. bryce started soccer this past month and loved it he had his class last Sat and got a medal. We haven't been up to too much I am going to sign bryce up for swimming leasons this month he is still loving school. Bryce will be 4 soon he is growing so fast and can almost write his name. It is getting warmer will be time for the pool soon. Well that is all for now! Jan 7 - Happy New Year! We had a wonderful christmas in Raleigh NC with alex's family. Michelle alex's sister had christmas at her house this year. Bryce had a good time with his cousin Avery. He wanted her to come home with us. Bryce is glad to be back in school and see all of his friends. He is going to be playing soccer in a couple of weeks. He will have a few classes on how o play and then they will have a game it will be against three other kids but he is so excited about it. We are ready to get the pool ready for to swim again this summer but we won't start that until feb or march. Well that is all for now. Dec 3 - Alex left today for Orlando he will be back on Fri. So bryce and I will be busy getting christmas shopping finished up until we go to Raleigh in a couple of weeks. He is having a christmas program at his school so it should be interesting to see what he is going to do in it. We decorated the tree last weekend and bryce was so into it. Of course he put 3 decorations on one limb. He wants to open presents I made the mistake of telling him he one under the tree and sneaked and open one which was not his so now he knows he can't open them until christmas.We took him to see Santa and he didn't want to sit on his lap but he sat next to him in the chair he was such a big boy compared to last year alex and I ended up in the pic with him. This week has been a sad weekwe found out a pilot from here died in Iraq alex had flown with him a few times when we got here and said he was a great guy. he had a wife and 5 kids with youngest being 9 month old twins and a few days later we found a guy we knew at Moody died he was doing a obstacle course for the reserves and fell off of it he had a wife and a 6 year old andone on the way so please keep these families in your prayers. Maybe this week will be a brighter week. Nov 26- As you guys can see we skipped the Thanksgiving Theme. We had a great Thanksgiving and I hope all of you did too. We went over to our friend lisa's house and had dinner after we met one of bryce's friend's from school parents at Cracker Barrel so we ate twice. It was a good time and then on Sat we took bryce to see Santa and to see Happy Feet he was not that into it. We have been busy this weekend with Thanksgiving and christmas decorating which we are not much since we are headed to Raleigh for christmas. Well Happy Thanksgiving and be sure to view bryce's Thanksgiving video. He learn the song from school they sang it to us when we had lunch with them. Nov 1 - Bryce had so much fun on Halloween at school they had wacky hair day so he went to school with blue hair. He didn't like it so when he came home we washed it out. He got to make carmel apples and play games at school. Later that day when it got dark he got to go trick or treating with his friends jacob, brooke, estaban and adam and their cousins. He had a blast got a bag of candy. He was running house to house and riding in the wagon in between. There were a few houses decorated and he got a kick out of that. We have our last day of Tball this weekend so we will update all of the pictures then hope you guys had a fun and safe Halloween. Oct 23 - What a busy weekend on Sat we went to bryce's T-ball. He learnig how to throw,field and hit the ball off the T. Later that day we watch the blue angels fly in a airshow in goodyear. It was not very organized some people had to wait an hour and a half for a bus. We ended up walking to miles back to our car when it was over. Bryce had a good time but he was tired. We have a busy week this week also. Bryce is enjoying school learning letters and songs. He learned how to play duck duck goose and that is all he wants to play. He is excited about Halloween he is going to be a Pirate we are going trick or treat with some friends so it should be a good time. Well that is all for now. Oct 15 - Aunt Chelle is in town TDY for a school and came to visit me. My daddy added some pictures of her and me. I also started T-Ball Class and have some pictures from that as well. Aug 20 - Gdaddy came to Phoenix for work for 2 weeks. Bryce has enjoyed playing with Gdaddy. They have been swimming,throwing the frisbee and kicking the soccer ball. We have enjoyed Gdaddy's visit bryce is going to miss him when he goes back to florida. My friend lisa and I got up at 4:15 and signed our boys up for Tball. It last for about 4 weeks and teaches them how to play. Bryce is excited about it. He is loving school wants to go everyday but only goes 2 days aweek. It has been very hot here can't wait for the fall so we can go to the playground. Alex is headed to Fort Worth this week for 4 days.It will be a short trip and tomorrow we get our car back yea! afther being in the shop for 3 weeks. Bryce loves riding in the rental car. Well that is about it I finally updated this I am going to keep it up so keep checking it out. Until next time. AUG 6 Bryce started preschool this week and loves it. He didn't even cry just walk in like a big boy. His teacher is Mrs Cyrstal and her helper is Mrs Anita. They are very nice he likes them. They had meet the teacher at 10 on the first day and I got into a accident on my way to the school. No one was hurt that was a good thing. Our car is in the shop right now I am just sick about the whole thing. I am in the fault for it a landscaper was in the turn lane as you go into my neighborhood and he waved me across so when I went across I hit side to side with another car. On thursday I locked the keys in the car while it was running and the fire department came out and opened the car. Bryce loved it he got a fire hat and got to sit in the truck and blow the horn and siren they were very nice to him. So maybe this will be a better week. July 23- Yea! Alex firgured out how to update the stories and I know how to do it now. We are doing good it has been so hot here up to a 117! We are enjoying the pool alot. Bryce is a little fish. I will post new pictures soon. I want to take pictures of his first day of preschool. We are very excited. We had date night last night and bryce really like his babysitters. Lacy came over last nigh she has two sisters lashera and carly. They are so good with him we don't have to worry about him. Alex is off to Oshkosh,Wi to a reunion with his buds from the academy for 4 days. That is about all for now.
